They never miss every visit is consistent, fresh, and hits every time. Opening at 6am makes it clutch for early mornings too. Pork and shrimp noodle soup is my go to here . Service is amazing, the owners are great, and the ambiance really feels like a true Vietnamese café hangout spot. It's the kind of place you can just sit, eat, and vibe.

This place is consistently busy. There's indoor and outdoor seating. The building is a small house and has enough space for about 20-30 people inside. Probably another 20-30 if outdoor seating is available. You seat yourself or order from the front if hou are ordering takeout. Tables get cleaned immediately as soon as people leave. Service is quick and the workers are friendly. Their bánh mì đặc biệt (deluxe sandwich) and the cà phê sửa đá (iced condensed milk coffee) are my typical go-tos. The sandwich has layers of meat and portioned appropriately. The pâté adds a rich umami flavor and the Vietnamese bơ (mayo) gives it a buttery flavor. The veggies are always healthy and seem fresh. Also their jalapeños actually have a kick unlike most places I've been to. I recommend this staple to anyone looking for a solid Vietnamese sandwich in Tacoma. Great place to chill and have coffee to start your day. They have other foods like noodle soups, stews, and a rice plate. I haven't tried any of them, but it might be something I might look into in the future

I ordered the traditional mix beef bon broth soup with clear noodles and my bf got tofu soup with a side of dumplings. Tofu soup is ordinary! But the sullungtang is really rich and comfort. It was super cold outside so this soup was a perfect balance to it! The dumplings are well seasoned and the kimchi tho, do I need to say anything else? Tastes homemade and authentic! I will come back soon! Oh yeah don't forget to buy a jar of kimchi to bring home! Only $8.99 sooo good

We had ordered a seafood pancake, saw ours be given to another table that ordered later than us. We reminded the waitress once more and saw that one be given to another table as well. We reminded them one last time just to be told "it's coming." At that point, we have been dining in for 45 minutes, finished our soups and just ended up wanting to cancel that order (even though we were looking forward to it). We went up to the cash register and told the waitress to cancel the pajeon but she didn't believe us that it never came and that she had to check our table for herself. Not once were we ever checked up on, just overlooked and ignored... I want to say I like Yi's but I am apprehensive about coming back.

They play electro dance music and the TV just cycles between short clips of cities like Rio de Janiero. Nothing is particularly cohesive but service is very friendly and they show up where it counts, the food. Food: I'm an American born Chinese kid from California and the food here could go head to head with anything in San Diego or LA. The broth is clean and simple Chinese style soup, not too salty and perfectly reduced. They load the bowls with tons of protein and are very flexible with whatever combination of proteins you want. The cha sui is perfect with just the right amount of sweet glaze and a touch of char to keep it interesting. The roast pork has one of the crispiest skins I've had which you can just let soak in the broth to your desired consistency. The duck is moist, tender, and relatively meaty (sometimes restaurants source scrawny ducks which are mostly bone). The weakest part of dish is the which have that store-bought taste and could be fresher and slightly more al dente. Overall this some of the best Chinese BBQ I've had, as good as any major city I've been. Definitely worth a try if you're in the area!

The food comes out flavorful, fresh, and just hits every time. You can tell they put a lot of care into what they serve. The atmosphere feels lively because of how packed it gets, which kind of adds to the experience. Even when there's a wait, it moves pretty fast and once you're seated, it's all worth it. If you're thinking about going, just go and be prepared to wait a little, but trust me, you won't regret it.

Cooper's hosted one of our Porsche Club breakfast social events, and from start to finish this one was a 10. The food was on point throughout, and considering the size of our group, that's borderline remarkable. Breakfast at Cooper's is flavorful and excellent! Everyone came away impressed, which if you've ever tried to please a table full of hungry car enthusiasts, you know is not a given. Andrea led the service, and she was outstanding. This woman knows how to manage a large, hungry group! To perform this with that kind of calm efficiency is a real skill! The whole team reflected the same energy. They were all attentive, warm, and clearly proud of the place they work in. I can't say enough about the people here. The thoughtful touch that really stood out: Porsche-themed mimosas and breakfast spirits prepared specially for our event. That kind of detail is something a great hospitality team delivers. It set the tone for the whole morning. The space itself is immaculate and the decor is genuinely cool. Those of us who hadn't dined there before were genuinely impressed. Cleanliness here is a point of obvious pride. All in all, Cooper's is a destination for casual quality. Magnificent experience, start to finish, and I can't wait to return!

I tried one of their holiday cocktails (those rotate, so the one I tried was going away the next day). If you'd rather not have alcohol, they also offered a delicious hot cocoa. French onion soup was on point. Ambience was quiet and comfortable. We seated ourself and the waitress was on the spot - she kept up with us the whole time, was very helpful and friendly. She is a class act. Thank you, Andrea! Will eat here again.

There were only a few tables inside but almost half of them were already occupied with several customers. I was quickly seated for a table of 1. The tables are fairly close together and the noise level is low enough to hear conversations around me. I didn't mean to eavesdrop, but I did hear other customers comment at their tables that the food here is good. There's a few ajummas working here, so service was straightforward. I ordered the kalbi dolsot bibimbap, which seemed inexpensive and came with some complementary sides, and they were nice enough to cut my kalbi into bite-sized pieces for me. I would say, if I can finish my food in one sitting at a restaurant, I am either really hungry, satisfied, or both. In this case, it was both!
