Fried Egg Rolls (2 Rolls) - Chả Giò Thịt

Our go to spot for PHO has always been Mama Pho but fortunately they were packed so we adventured over to Pho Viet Thai and honestly we were a bit surprised how good this restaurant is... tbh they were better. The pho was flavorful and the noodles and toppings were fresh. The curry was creamy with hint of spice like we like it and the fried egg rolls were cooked to perfection. We loved that the restaurant was full of plants which gave it a cozy jungle vibe. I think we found our new spot when we are craving not only Vietnamese food but Thai food too Give them a try and let me know what you think! Cheers

My husband ordered the basil chicken (spice level 2), and it was delicious with just the right amount of heat. He also loved his Luluxotic Signature Refreshment drink with mango, pineapple, coconut milk, lime juice, basil seeds, and popping boba. I had the regular pho with tofu and vegetables, which was very flavorful, and a Viet Thai iced coffee that was good but a little too sweet for my taste. The restaurant was very clean, the servers were very nice, and we'll definitely be back!

The broth was absolutely amazing -- rich, flavorful, and definitely the highlight of the meal! The Thai iced tea was perfectly sweet and creamy, and the egg rolls were crisp and delicious. I also really appreciated the extras (lime, herbs, sauces), which made the pho feel complete. My only concern is with the way the raw steak was packaged for delivery. The sauce packets were placed directly on top of the raw meat and noodles, and some of the juices/blood seeped onto the noodles and bean sprouts. While I know pho tái is traditionally served with raw beef that cooks in the hot broth, this setup felt a little unsanitary for delivery. If you dine in, I think this would be a perfect experience. For delivery, I would recommend ordering the cooked meat options (like brisket) instead. Overall, though, the food itself was a 10/10 in taste, and I'll definitely be back -- just with a small tweak to my order next time.

This spot serves one of the most flavorful and authentic Bún Bò Huế. The broth is rich and spicy, packed with lemongrass and soul - you can taste the love in every bite. Thier cà phê muối (salt coffee) - bold, creamy, just the right touch of salt to bring out the richness. Staff is super friendly and service is quick. Perfect for a cozy solo lunch or a casual meet-up with friends. 10/10 for flavor, vibes, and authenticity.

the food was delicious your average chicken vermicelli bowl! our waiter was so attentive to us despite being the only one storming and having a lunch time rush he made sure you were made to feel welcomed and you had everything you needed! pretty big space and the table for just me and my friend was massive!

The interior is clean and welcoming. Love the atmosphere and music that's always playing every time we eat, hehe. Their broth is super clean and flavorful, even without the extra added condiments. I usually prefer having the vinegar with onions and dipping sauce on the side, and let me tell youuuuuu. IT'S A GAME CHANGER! Next time ask for it on the side and thank me later (; The waiters are super friendly and they always recognize us, lol. That's how often we eat here.

The most amazing and authentic Vietnamese food!!! The PHO was super delicious! Service was great. The price was very reasonable. I also ordered a coconut and mango boba. They were out of Taro :( Stroller friendly!

I'm torn between a three or four stars. It wasn't bad, I just wasn't impressed by the broth in the pho. The service was good and the restaurant itself was pretty decent. We only had the pho and didn't try anything else. I will probably go ahead but it's not a place I would crave and have to have.

Seafood medoly pho soup. I don't remember exact name but very tasty!! Seafood Pho (Large Size Only) - Ph Bin

I always read 1 star reviews first because I want to make sure I know what the worst thing is that I may find. Most of those were based on cleanliness. My recent visit this place on the inside was exceptionally clean. The interior was very modernized with an Asian twist. The food I had was shrimp spring rolls and sea food measly pho bowl. They brought out the extra toppings in a dish covered with Saran Wrap, the Thai tea was also sealed. The soup was amazing and filling. I had to get a to go bowl to take leftovers home. Excellent wait staff, and the manager came over to apologize cause he didn't think my soup was brought to me fast enough! I told him it was fine and I was pretty content since I just finished two spring rolls. Overall great visit and I will be back, def recommend to anyone Looking for a clean place, friendly staff, and good food at affordable prices.

P8 was good, brisket and meatballs great service and cute waiter "waiter in pic" great food and highly recommend

A LOT of life has happened since then, so we definitely had plenty to catch up on. Neither of us had been to Bloom Thai before, but we both love Thai food, so we decided to give it a try. This place is definitely different from any Thai restaurant I've been to before. It's super small, with only a handful of tables. You order at the counter, grab your number, and find a table. They also have a big jug of cucumber water that was so refreshing! They didn't have my usual yellow chicken curry, so I decided to try something completely different--the drunken noodles. I honestly had no idea what I was ordering, but OH MY GOSH... I was in love with this dish! The flavors were fantastic, and they topped it with deep-fried basil. I'm not even kidding when I say I think I've dreamed about that crispy basil every day since! It was SO good! The food was definitely the star of the show for me, and I really enjoyed the atmosphere. I think this is such a fun little spot to meet a friend for lunch, especially if you want somewhere casual and different. That said, it is VERY small, so I personally wouldn't choose it for a family dinner with a bunch of picky eaters or rambunctious kids. The menu is also a little different than your typical Thai restaurant, so definitely keep that in mind. For dinner, I'd probably order it to-go and enjoy it at home. But for a girls' lunch or catching up with a friend? Absolutely! Great little find, and I will definitely be back for those drunken noodles and that amazing fried basil!

The husband, who was serving, checked in several times to make sure I had everything I needed. The chef also stopped by my table when she came out of the kitchen, which was such a thoughtful touch. The pork belly was very crispy(an additional fee), but too salty for my taste. The Pad Thai was good, although not the best I've had. The noodles were cooked well, and I enjoyed the flavor of the sauce. It did not come spicy, but chili sauce was available to add some heat. The spicy omelette tom yum soup had a great balance of mild spice and sourness, and it tasted very authentic. The texture of the fried omelette after soaking in the soup was not my favorite, but that may come down to personal preference. The Thai iced tea had a good balance of tea and condensed milk, although it was sweeter than I prefer. You order at the counter, and the food is brought to your table afterward. Water is self-service. They also have a helpful sign explaining the ordering and seating process for first-time guests. The restaurant was very clean, nicely decorated, and had a great ambiance. I especially enjoyed the small area showcasing the chef's history and journey. Overall, the warm service and welcoming atmosphere made the experience memorable.

I visit viet kitchen about 1x/week!…read more I usually order SP4. Banh hoi thap cam to-go. This is a vermicelli noodle sheet dish with grilled pork, shrimp, and grilled pork sausage! The grilled pork is my favorite part! The serving size is huge so it could definitely feed 1.5 people. I usually eat about 75% in one sitting and save 25% later. The other dish I order if I'm eating at the restaurant is R9. Fish tamarind sour soup and Caramelized braised fish with rice. This is a staple I had when I was younger and ate out at Vietnamese restaurants. The food here is truly authentic Vietnamese! The prices for some of the dishes are also very reasonable for Tacoma. A banh mi (Vietnamese baguette) only costs $9. In addition, there's free and easy parking in front of the restaurant, happy hours from 2-6 pm Monday through Friday, and catering! I ordered the Bun Bo Hue, and I really appreciated that they were able to make substitutions since I don't eat pork blood. I also mentioned multiple times that I didn't want cilantro, but when my soup came out, it was covered in cilantro. They took it back and picked most of it out, but there was still quite a bit at the bottom of the soup. I really don't like cilantro, so I tried my best to eat around it. Despite that, the broth was AMAZING. It had the perfect spicy kick and so much flavor. The noodles were cooked perfectly, and the crab balls tasted like they were made with real crab. They also gave me a generous amount of meat, which I loved! The fresh coconut was also so good! Since we're in Washington, we probably won't get the freshest coconut like you would somewhere tropical, but it definitely did the job. Overall, the food itself was really good, but I wish they had been more careful about the cilantro since I specifically mentioned it several times.

I definitely shouldn't have thought jajangmyeon as my first option but I was also super hungry and it was the cheapest thing on the menu, while I was also thinking it wouldn't take that long. Plus they were open early which was great as we were in the area around 10am! When we arrived, there was a older gentleman who greeted us then looked like he was prepping for the day. He can speak Korean and English just fine too. Once we were ready, we placed an order of jajangmyeon and egg rolls and he brought us out banchan. I did ask for more daikon but he seemed to have forgotten or maybe left as his daughter was there delivering food, tea and taking orders. She was a lot more attentive, she would check in on customers and was very friendly! Also it turns out that my boyfriend's friend who he has known since high school was that female employee, so for those saying the owners have changed, they have not. There is plenty of seating at this food court as well as other options from sushi, Korean food and and this spot that serves Korean-Chinese food. The lighting here is a bit dark but it is light enough to take different photos. It's not too cold nor hot either. You can also leave your plates, utensils and trash on the table and someone will come get it. The jajangmyeon was really good, I was surprised as I feel like there aren't too many places that have good jajangmyeon in Lakewood but I can say it is way better than the other places that serve in the area. I usually don't scoop up the sauce but it was actually really good. They offer kimchi, onion and daikon for their side dishes which I think is perfectly fine. They do offer refills and when I asked for more daikon, the kind female employee even gave me extra vinegar. My boyfriend said the egg roll was pretty good too. We look forward to coming back!
