Located in a small strip plaza with a barber shop, pizza shop and other small businesses, Dragon Delight does not disappoint. I got the schezuan chicken meal and the serving was large and cooked perfectly to order (spicy and well done chicken). Wait time was exactly what was stated - 15 minutes. Truth is, this is not the place to go if you want to dine in as they don't really have appropriate seating for that. I'm sure this is family run with the daughter at the front taking orders. It is nothing fancy and the young lady at the front isn't particularly friendly but she is very professional which is all you can ask for. They seem quite busy with a bunch of loyal customers. They make Halal style food which is great as there are not many of these establishments around town. We will return when seeking some yummy Asian food! read more

I wasn't going to do this but because the owner was rude to me I gonna let it out. 2 months ago I ordered shrimp fry rice with lemon pepper wings for my wife . While she was eating and got to the bottom of the container was a big ass roach with wings fried with the lemon pepper seasoning. My immediately started throwing up I brought the food back to the restaurant and the lady took it in the back threw it out. Then she ask me if I want something else ! Usually a Chinese restaurant gives you a lot of bang for your buck. Very little chicken too much fried rice. They used the sesame chicken and poured a little schiracha to make it "spicy" what a cheap way out. Boring, luckily I was really hungry. However, food did come out quick and did taste fresh, the restaurant looked very clean so those were the redeeming qualities. Okay so I've previously had good and bad experiences with the different owners, but the owners now are great and the food is awesome. It's definitely one of those hole in the wall places but if you want solid Chinese takeout full of flavor then this is the place to. The spicy chicken wings are so good, definitely my favorite thing on the menu. They also have great lunch specials that have really good portion sizes. I am very disappointed in this place I order almost $45 dollars worth of food and one of the things I order was "crab claws" which I asked the young girl which I am guess is daughter of owner of their was actually crabs in it and was it a real crab claw she went to the back make sure they hand it and said yes I get home and take a bite it's fried bread with a hook of a crab claw I call them and say hey I order crab claw not bread on a claw while I was speaker to wife she passed phone to daughter whom took my order she tries to talk to them and tell them "her parents" and her father the chef is screaming in the back round and the mother is like their is nothing I can do no refund no nothing I can't do anything that's how we make it I'm like wait what ? The daughter then says she is sorry that they don't want to do anything I let her know I will never come back and they just lost a good customer .. Well this review might fall short of the reality. It's difficult to guess what the food would taste like on seeing the exterior if the restaurant which is really tiny but remember everything's which glitters is also not gold. The food is really awesome. They really charge less for what they serve. I felt bad for it. All items should be priced atleast a couple of dollars more considering the quantity, quality, & most importantly taste. I immediately have $5 tip. People who prepare food have Chinese ancestors and they are really very sweet. They do school on mon, tues, wed & so the restaurant is closed. We guys should really appreciate such hard working students who run restaurant. If I order food for 2, it's good for 4. So a thumbs up and will definitely go there whenever I am here in Florida. And remember guys it's halal and it has both a halal certificate on the wall and outside on the restaurant too.... read more

I drove 22 minutes to get to this place because it is halal. I had eaten here before and it was excellent. But this time I was disappointed. The chicken fried rice was pale looking a d hardly had any flavor. We ordered $60. worth of food and was disappointed with every dish. I thought I should have received white rice with the moo goo gain pan and beef with broccoli but no it wasn't like other places. I asked for rice they gave a little box that was like a 1/2 of a pint or even smaller. I had to purchase a quart of white rice as a side. Will I go back there? No probably not. We've been coming to Dragon Delight for years now, and the food was a great treat. Unfortunately, the ownership of the restaurant has changed and the food quality and taste is TERRIBLE. We picked up food for takeout, and to our dismay the food was completely different from what it was like under the previous ownership. The lomein was SO bland and the noodles were overcooked, the kung pao chicken was bland and had an aftertaste of plastic, and the chicken wings are scrawny and LITERALLY had bird feathers fried into them (pretty sure that's an FDA violation, if not plain disgusting). Overall, RUN THE OTHER WAY. DO NOT GO TO THIS RESTAURANT. I wouldn't wish the disappointment I faced with this food on my worst enemy. Wow! What a find of a wonderful Chinese restaurant in Sunrise. The building is inconspicuous at the corner of University drive and NW 44th street but the dishes they serve are very conspicuous!! They are the best tasting Chinese food I have ever eaten. They do not scrimp on quality or quantity, as one serving is good for at least two meals for me. Try the Honey Garlic wings and my favorite, The Szechuan Shrimp entrée ( this dish will bring you back every time.....). In fact, It is so good, I find it hard to try anything else on the menu..... My first visit to this restaurant was 6 years ago. It was operated by the current owner's brother. The food is flavorful, fresh and extremely delicious. They have reasonably priced combo meals available throughout the day. The dining space is small and can probably handle 3 groups. My family enjoys the house special fried rice and the delicious entrees. My personal favourite dishes are the general Tso's chicken, beef manchurian and the chicken corn soup. I loved this place before; probably the best halal Chinese in town. But recently they got a new staff, and today I have had the worst experience there in my life! So I ordered over the phone like I usually do expecting to go in and pick it up. I go in and they said that they don't take card because the machine was broken and that I would have to get cash. I was very understanding and went to the nearest bank and got my money. I went back expecting my food to be ready so I can pay and then leave...but to my surprise they hadn't even started cooking yet! After patiently waiting 40 minutes i receive my food and am shocked to see how drastically the amount of food had changed. Today we found out that the ownership had changed sometime in the past year. The new owners are taiwanese and very friendly. We ordered the family pack option B which for 34.99 is an amazing amount of food ( especially by halal restaurant standards). The food included in the deal is: 3 eggrolls, jumbo special fried rice (beef, shrimp and chicken), quart general Tsos chicken, and 20 chicken wings and a 2 Liter of soda. This has turned out to be a fantastic deal- everything was amazingly yummy and fresh tasting even to my great surprise the eggrolls. They are fresh and so crispy and I usually never like them unless homemade - but these were mouthwatering. The general Tsos chicken was saucy and sweet and a little spicy and crispy and yum. This is the best chinese I have eaten out in years. Years - I tell you! I feel very excited to try more things from them. The menu also has a good coupon for free sweet and sour chicken with purchase of 35.00+.... I wonder how their dumplings are....
