The chicken fried rice wasn't the best imo, rice was hard and didn't have much flavor, same with the sweet and sour chicken the breading didn't taste like I'm used to. The spring roll was perfect, super crunchy and the oil tasted fresh. Now the honey garlic lemon pepper chicken was absolutely amazing. This has become my new go to for Chinese. It's taken me this long but I'm finally able to find something as close to New York Chinese as I can find. I've been searching for some time now and was always left disappointed until I found this spot on Uber eats. To start the egg rolls and Spring rolls are absolutely delicious, not too greasy and perfectly crispy. I really have enjoyed the sweet-and-sour chicken with the pork fried rice, they give you a huproportion even in the combo. The sweet-and-sour sauce is perfect the rice is delicious and the chicken is always cooked perfectly. I like the lomein it's not too saucy and has a good amount of flavor. My husband gets the chicken and broccoli with sauce on the side steamed and he said it's really flavorful. Glad I finally found a spot to get Chinese food. So finding decent Chinese food in Fort Lauderdale, or Plantation, is no easy task. I used yelp to help me find this restaurant. It was the only Chinese restaurant that got more than three stars and now I understand why. The food we ordered was superb! Their super special fried rice was phenomenal! The portions were very hearty, and although they're not delivering at this time, getting there was a breeze. We had steamed dumplings which were great, Kung pow chicken which was also amazing, and a wonton-egg drop soup which was new, unusual, and very delicious. There were four of us that each ordered something different and eacof us was very satisfied. The shrimp fried rice, as many other people have commented, was fabulous as well. I got on Yelp, found Egg roll Kingdom and saw they were on DoorDash which was even better and placed my order. Here's the low down: I got an order of lo mein I got an egg roll I got an order of Krab rangoon I got an order of honey chicken and fried rice. NOTE: I did not eat this in one sitting, but from the pictures, I wanted to try things out, you know? Krab rangoon was good. Tasted like many others I've had at various Chinese eateries. The lo mein was stuffed with pork, shrimp, so many noodles. It was really tasty. The fried rice, albeit a tiny bit dry, was really tasty. The honey chicken was out of this world. I'm not sure if they always do this, but I assume because it was delivered they kept the sauce separate from the chicken and I had to pour it over. The honey sauce was enough to make this order worth it. So freaking good. There was a tiny hint of spice in the sweet, but it was absolutely delicious. OH! And I loved their egg roll too. This has been our go to Chinese takeout spot lately. The portions are large and the food is pretty tasty. I always have leftovers. We usually order the honey garlic, general Tso, or orange chicken dishes. I always ask for extra spicy sauce and they always add it. The chicken and batter is nice and crispy. I'm also a fan of the fried rice, it isn't too greasy. The appetizers we usually get are the crab rangoons and the steamed dumplings. Finding a good Chinese restaurant in Ft. Lauderdale/Plantation is like finding a needle in a haystack. We had a buffet one we were ok with, but then it was damaged in the explosion on University so that was that. There were a few next to us, but my father in law got sick at one of them, and the others were awful. I went on to Yelp to see what people recommended. Eggroll Kingdom had excellent reviews and we decided to take the plunge and order take out. (With Covid, they only do pick up or take out and delivery through Door Dash and maybe Uber Eats?) We ordered 2 large wonton soups , a house made pork eggroll, BBQ spare ribs, special fried rice and beef with rice noodles - medium spicy. It was about 10 minutes from the house and we ordered online. The confirmation said 20-25 minutes until ready. When we got there , it was in a VERY busy plaza between the liquor store and the dollar store , and the Italian place next to it. There were about 6 people standing socially distanced in line. Some were ordering from the menu, and others were picking up. They are contact free. They talk to you and also can take your order through an intercom. They email you when the food is ready. They put the bag in a box that they close from their side and open to you. There is a small slot for credit cards . They are completely contact free from their end. We finally got our food and went home to try it. As other Yelpers pointed out, they saran wrap everything tightly and that keeps the food hot. The items were in a paper bag, stapled shut and then in a plastic bag. We started with the wonton soup. YAY! One large is enough for 2 people easily and the chicken broth based soup was great! First time in Florida for that!! BF liked the wontons and said they were like NY ones - not so overcooked that they were in pieces. We had the other one for lunch the next day and it was just as delicious. The BBQ spare ribs were big and good. Not quite Chinese 5 spice flavor, but freshly grilled, had sauce and they were meaty and tasted good . The special fried rice was also delicious. Nice flavors with shrimp, chicken, pork and ham, with lots of fresh bean sprouts and egg. Huge portion! Beef with thin rice noodles - medium spicy. Large portion in a bowl of rice noodles with lots of thin pieces of beef, vegetables and egg. And the spiciness was perfect. That alone was amazing. It was good with all the flavors blending nicely and made for a tasty dish. The one thing I did not like at all was the house made pork eggroll. Small, fried for too long, hardly any filling , could not tell it was pork - just a bad eggroll with little inside it. Would not order again - but maybe I just got a bad one. All in all really happy we found this place and will definitely make it our go to Chinese restaurant. (For dim sum I like Hong Kong City). Huge portions, lots of leftovers. They do offer a Cajun boil, which is unusual for a Chinese restaurant, but I heard several people order it while we were waiting. I may try it at some point just to see how it tastes....but I need to work my way through the other dishes first. read more

I feel like the food would've been good b/c it was pretty busy and has good reviews BUT I made my order at 6:50, got my confirmation email at 7:04pm with no pick up time, after 40 minutes I went to pick it up, the cashier said "what's your number then says 10 more minutes" I goto the store for like 20 minutes come back and food still not ready... I like to search for the type of food I am looking for and filter by rating. This placed topped the list of Asian delivery restaurants and now I know why. The packaging seemed as though they had the customer in mind where it would be obvious if tampered with. All items were still very hot even though it's a 15 minute drive to my house. Each item was wrapped up to avoid spillage and to keep the temperature. We opened up each item one at a time and was immediately impressed with the egg drop soup. As we moved to the next item we expected somthing to be off or not be "that good", as we've experienced with every other Chinese delivery place.
