I'd like to start off by saying that their food is very good and usually the portions are decent... it's the other BS that you have to deal with that makes this place very unattractive.... the two in there are extremely unpleasant they seem put out that anybody would come in there... but what really tip the scales for me is that I traveled from Bonita a few Saturdays ago and they were closed! I was hopping mad. I understand in a mom and pop store that emergency arise I think they have to go to some wedding or something... last week, once again I traveled from Bonita and their store was closed! Pissed me off! so now, I got smart, and I called before I decided to go.... Since moving to the local area we were fortunate to hear about this place on YELP and the reviews couldn't have been more helpful. This place is by gar DELICIOUS! We order To Go at least once a week. My boyfriend always gets the PHo togo cause its a huge portion. I recommend this place all the time. I personally LOVE the spicy garlic chicken. Can't go wrong here. And newly expanded makes it more comfortable. Great couple that run the place. They're always SOOOO polite and make us feel welcome. read more

This place has been here for 19 years and it's one of my favorites. One of my favorite meals is the grilled pork and rice it's super delicious. They have Chinese and Vietnamese food. One thing that l also get is the pho tom which is pho with shrimp it's super delicious and it comes out fast. Their service is awesome their food comes quickly and they have great customer service. I come here like once a week and they treat me with awesome service. Their employees/staff is really nice and helpful. read more

Great place for take-out! Wanted to fight a cold with chicken soup so I ordered Chicken Broth (Hu Tieu Noodle Chicken Soup) and Spring Rolls. The soup serving was huge and the rolls were super fresh! I would have had it delivered but you must pay with cash. It's very inexpensive and everything was delicious. Tried this place based on other reviews and I was not disappointed. Service was excellent, food was prepared fresh and in a timely manner. The dragon rice, recommended by our waitress, was delicious. Only down side was the area, this business is located in a strip mall next to a laundromat with other local businesses, other than that the food and service was great and I would definitely recommend this place to eat in or pick up food on the go. read more

Taste was pretty good but the portions were extremely lacking. Price changed. 5.50 on menu and was charged 5.95 for "Combo Pho". Extra $2 for extra noodles ( a bit high compared to $1 - $1.50 from other places)... Service was quick. Received my bowl in less than 3 min Selection was limited. The special did not have tendons nor tripe. Would come back definitely, but not for a meal.... My Combo order + extra noodles BARELY filled me. read more

Phoooooooonemonal I've tried many Pho places and I will definitely be coming back. The Pho is perfect delicious tasty and juicy. This restaurant served both Chinese and Vietnamese food. My hubby and I had their pho and it was very tasty and filling. My kids had Chinese food (sesame chicken & Lo-me in) which were fresh and mouth watering and servings were more than enough. The owners were friendly and accommodating for our party of 9. They knew we were visiting and provided plates and plastic ware for the food we took back to our hotel. I will def return here. read more

Finally! I found a place to get egg rolls like the ones from New Jersey. Since moving here I have yet to find a place with big egg rolls until now. Big chicken egg rolls! Love them. Oh and the chinese food is good too. read more

Update. We've been there two more times since my last review. Unfortunately i have to take a star away because both times they were sold out of their prepared selections even though it was around 6:00 and its offered until 7:00 pm. When they were out of these items we ordered off their menu. I felt the quantity was a little less than expected but still very tasty. Great delivery Chinese food! You couldn't ask for a better place to order some traditional delivery Chinese for those stay at home nights.

Since I was in National City and based other yelpers reviews on Dragon Express, we made a quick decision to have some chinese food for dinner. This was a family ran restaurant and it was definitely a true hole in the wall. We ordered the chicken cashew, mongolian beef and house special friend rice. The portions seem a bit skimpier than other chinese restaurant we usually go to, dollar for dollar. However, the food was hot and tasty. My only disappoint was that the mongolian beef was more like mongolian 'green onion'. I mean the dish look like the beef was swimming in a pool of green onions and onions. I felt like repeating the infamous words of the little old lady in the Wendy's commercial from back in the day, "Hey, where's the beef?". Hence, I give this restaurant 2 1/2 stars, but you can't round up a 1/2 star. I might come back for lunch and order one their 2 item combo from their steam table, the food looked okay or try a bowl of pho, but, I just not for certain that I will. read more

Went her today for brunch with my mom. We arrived about 10 min. Early. I ordered the almond chicken, pork fried won tons, orange chicken, and some Vietnamese egg rolls. Their beef pho noodle soup and Vietnamese pork sandwiches are also delicious It was served hot and it was delicious. I will be returning for some more of their delicious Chinese and Vietnamese food.Keep up the good work and service. read more

I just had a big bowl of deliciousness. I had the vegetable pho. Yum. By the way I was recovering from being sick and had a bit of a sore throat. The fresh jalapenos in it and the fresh everything just wiped the rest of my sickness out of me I feel great. I got the pho for take out. Stopped at game stop then went home to Otay Mesa. The broth was piping hot still, the noodles and veggies were separate and fresh. Huge serving, I saved half for later. Yummy! read more

They are sooo fast!! And the food is sooo yummy :)!!! I loved how nice the couple was that ran the place. This was a great yelp find. The food is cheap, it's yummy to eat, and the service is great!! Hidden gem. First time here. We tried their chicken wings, pho and crispy noodle with seafood. They were all good.

This family run restaurant resurrects what many other businesses fail to do. That is, they provide good old fashion customer service-polite, friendly, attentive, and appreciative of your business. It shows in their food that's freshly prepared, and each assorted dish has a unique taste that's worth every penny. I hope one day, roasted duck would be on the special order menu. Been living 2 minutes away from this place for about 5 months now and man I cant get enough of their food!!! I have yet to find something on their menu that I wouldnt enjoy.
