Can not say enough about this place. I have been for lunch and dinner and both visits were so good. Portions sizes are extremely large. A dinner portion could easily feed three people. The lunch portion is no slacker by any means and I got two meals out of the lunch special. The outside doesn't look like much but the meals are delicious and a great value. Wait staff is attentive and food comes out piping hot. My girlfriend friend and I joke about this restaurant having the cleanest public restroom we have ever seen. Wow, our first time here and we are very impressed. My wife and brother and I ordered take out at 4pm on Fri July 1, 2022. I ordered the curry beef, I only like beef, onions and green peppers with my curry and they did it right. The curry is fantastic; plenty of sauce, the meat is tender and the onions and peppers are fresh. Pretty spicy curry sauce so beware if you don't like spicy. If you are a curry beef lover then you will be happy. My wife had the Mongolian beef with noodles, she really enjoyed it. It has beef, onions and chives, and the noodles also had a great flavor. My brother had the General Tso's chicken, he also enjoyed it (see pics of all dishes). Plenty of parking, centrally located; the inside is spacious and very clean and has a comfortable feel to it. Prices are great, we paid ~30 bucks for everything so it's very affordable and you get very large portions. This is now our go-to for Chinese cuisine. Highly recommend. read more

This was our first time here. We ate at 5:30 on a Thursday and there was only one other table eating when we came in. We ordered egg rolls, which were only filled with cabbage. They had no flavor. My husband had General Tso chicken. He said it was ok, but needed more sauce. I got chicken fried rice to be on the safe side, but it was pretty devoid of chicken (or anything else). I am not sure I'd eat here again based on this experience. read more

We ate at this restaurant on a Saturday afternoon! It was quite busy. They had 2 servers who attended all tables. The service was about average time. The food was alright! I went especially for the cheese steak egg rolls. They were tasty! They give big portions for your entrees. I didn't like the area that we sat in because it was dark and a little gloomy! Would not recommend, we got take out chicken lomein, cashew chicken, and moo shu chicken all the food was bland. The moo shu was basically boiled chicken and cabbage, not a mushroom in sight. I don't know if they are aware but moo shu literally means mushroom, they might think of actually putting some in the dish. read more

I was very disappointed in the staff. We went there for lunch and looked at their lunch menu. I asked if they had pineapple chicken and was told yes. I assumed it was at the lunch price and was never told it wasn't and that it would be more. The lunch comes with choice of soup so I said I wanted the egg drop soup, and I ordered a Diet Coke. This was one time my favorite Chinese ever. I worked here as a kid for the original owners. Loved the place. Now... just awful. I gave it 2 stars for the 2 lovely ladies in front. But that's the only reason. My server had her pants sagging, looked mad the entire time. The food was ghastly. Syrup sweet sauce smothered, fake chicken. I used to eat at this location all of the time growing up and stopped in a day or so ago. I think they are really understaffed right now and with understaffing comes lowering in quality of food and sanitary practices. The food wasn't as great as usual and I felt ridiculously ill after I got home but didn't connect it to the food at first (just didn't want to believe one of my favorite childhood restaurants was making me this sick I guess). It wasn't until my stomach had settled and in my lack of suspicion I went back and ate my leftovers, immediately that same ill feeling ran over me again except this time I'd eaten a bigger portion of the food so the next morning I ended up with full on food poisoning. Literally the worst food poisoning I've had in a VERY long time. I don't think I'll be eating here again it's just not the same as it was when I was growing up unfortunately. Hopefully they can get it running better soon but for now it's like go at your own risk. read more

We love this place! I've ate here since I was a child. Never had a bad experience. It is clean. You can't say that about a lot of places. The soup is better than at most places. Prices are good too. Every time we come here there are a good many people eating. Surprised to see the other negative reviews. Pork with Garlic Sauce was not what we expected, they should have served with real pork but not already cooked red skin colored strange flavored pork. The shrimp they serve are huge - they don't skimp on anything. Service has always been good. I've never had a bad meal or bad service. My husband and I visited the Dragon Garden Chinese Restaurant on March 18, 2018 and was VERY disappointed by the service. We had "server 3" who acted like it was really cramping her style to wait on us. When we got there, we both went to the restroom to wash our hands. When we came out, she was standing there with her arms folded like she was angry that we didn't order as soon as we got there. My husband ordered the special but wanted it milder. I ordered the seafood soup for two and told her I'd take the same. She brought our drinks and practically threw them at us. I told her that I wanted her to understand that I wanted my entry "mild" also. She said with surprise, " you want 2 orders of the special?" Then she stormed off to the kitchen. It was quite a while before she brought our entrees out. My husband's was cold and my was steaming hot. They evidently waited until mine was fixed before bringing both out. My husband ask her if she could put his in the microwave. She grabbed it up and in several minutes brought it out to him. She never checked on us for the entire meal. When we went to pay at the cash register, I didn't do much as to even leave her a penny tip! And wrote on the receipt "very unfriendly". The fried rice had NO flavor, but the entree was delicious. And we were surprised nothing came with the entree except fried rice. We probably will NEVER go back there, but if we do, we'll make sure we won't have HER as a server!!! read more

The food is nice and arrives quick. The employees are polite and seat you quickly. The chicken fried rice was what I had and it was superb. My only real complaint is that when you order a soft drink you are treated to a glass of ice and a can of whatever you ordered. The food is always good. They have great egg rolls and the best chicken fried rice, no veggies. The amazing chicken is always a good choice. Restraint is very dated and could use some upkeep but I normally get it to-go. Main thing when eating here is they don't have a sofa fountain so you will have to pay for every coke you drink by the can. read more
