I do hate to make bad reviews but I feel like this one deserves one. For one there wasn't really any welcoming hospitality and further more professional my waiter was in an old tshirt and sports shorts and slippers. That's not the main focus of the problem either when ordering the menus are torn up and half the menu was missing the tables and chairs are sticky the environment was over all unappealing if you can move past that great. Moving on to the meals I was very unimpressed and overall some of the food smelled like CLEANER!!!! And the wings for my nephew smelled like actual SHIT the food ended up being bland and the wings had such a stink. My vegan PHO was prepared with extra love and care . I had all KINDS of special veggies and mushrooms and I felt so LOVED. The staff is excellent here and attentive. Service is always quick. Met someone in the mood for Vietnamese at this location and started with the sampler platter. Everything on it was good: spring rolls were fresh and refreshing, the egg rolls and pork wontons were crispy, and chicken wings with sticy rice were spot on and the favorites on this sampler for both of us. My entree was a bit different because I haven't had a bahn mi sandwich in such a long time that I just had to get one in addition to my entree. I shared the sandwich with my dinner companion. It was served on lovely french bread and the grilled pork was wonderfully seasoned a balanced with all the expected fresh vegetables. It fully met my expectations. My main dish was the Shaken Beef stir fried rice which had wonderful flavoring and excellent vegetables mixed in with a generous portion of fried rice. Nothing we ate disappointed. Service was fine and we were checked on a few times. Soft drinks are sold by the can and are not fountain drinks. I ordered the combination vermicelli bowl for takeout and was honestly really disappointed. The noodles were overcooked, and the beef, chicken, and shrimp were all tough and tasted like they'd been sitting out for a while. The egg roll was completely overpowered by black pepper, so much that it was the only thing I could taste. I didn't bother asking for extra fish sauce since they charge $1 for it, and the small portion that came with the meal was already watered down and bland. To make things worse, the man at the counter wasn't friendly at all. No greeting, no thank you, just took my card and handed me the bag. I have no idea how this place has 4 stars. Honestly, I'm being generous giving it 2. There's definitely no "wow" in Wow Pho and Grill... unless you're saying "Wow, that was disappointing." Definitely not worth $20. read more

Yum! Wow is right! My first time here so upon walking in on a Sunday evening super surprised at how few people were dining although the take-out seemed to be a little busier. Of course coming from to ole faithful --Yelp, led me to the right place. While ordering I asked the server his thoughts on two different wing selections and he stated he preferred the basil wings so I ordered those. I then order D1 and added tendon-- just as people are eating collagen these days.. I was ready for the health benefits of tendon. I also ordered a Boba and my friend ordered the chicken spring rolls. The spring rolls came out first and they were delish! So good that we placed a second order. My Boba Tea came out and the flavor was good.. the texture of the Boba was just okay..not bad. My pho, I ordered the large was so good, so flavorful and the tendon was of perfect soft texture. I cannot say I have ever had a 'bad' broth but everything about each spoonful with my noodles-- to myself I exclaimed -- umm The wings had a flavor I totally did not expect everyone agreed the wings were on point. They are different than anything you have had before while being perfectly flavored with just the right amount of everything. Even more after eating I cannot believe how empty it was. I hope more people find out about this place and keep them more busy. They deserve it. My daughter loves pho so I decided to take her to this place. It's huge inside and there was music playing. There were also a ton of TVs but none of them were on. Strange. My daughter enjoyed her steak pho; said she didn't even need to add to add any sauces. She also loved the pork buns, even though we ordered them as appetizers and they were not brought out until she asked for them mid-meal. The lemongrass chicken was not as good as I've had other places. It was very greasy and lacked that fresh/bright finish that usually comes with lots of veggies. We recently had another successful cousin night! We went to Wow Pho & Grill off of Bells Ferry. She had been wanting Pho for weeks and so we finally made time to get some. This restaurant is local and family owned and operated. We got there right before the dinner crowd! We each started with different appetizers. I got the steamed pork bun and she got the steamed shrimp dumplings. The bun was so soft and the dumplings were piping hot. I got the chicken pho medium and added grilled shrimp on the side. She got the shrimp pho medium and got extra shrimp on the side. It was super hot, flavorful and the medium bowl was huge! I wouldn't be able to even imagine a large bowl, but they do exist. It's been a few years since I've written the last review here, and I'm happy to say it has only gotten better and is still a staple Vietnamese place in our rotation. BUN BO HUE is my favorite noodle soup here now. I almost always get it and the broth is super flavorful. It's not crazy spicy but good flavor, which i prefer! I ask for the soup wirh beef only, no pork, and lots of vegetables. BO KHO (beef stew ) Homestyle and delicious!! Our friend's shrimp fried rice was nothing special -- actually downright dull, with a paltry amount of shrimp. I'm not sure if the accompanying bowl was a sauce to jazz it up, or a broth to slurp down. I enjoyed the combination stir fried noodle dish (M4 -- Pho Ap Chao Xao Mem Thap Cam.) But was I in ecstasy? No. The seafood was unidentifiable and tasted frozen -- I don't know if it was -- but I enjoyed the other meats and vegetables. And the noodles were good. T had a combination of chicken and pork over vermicelli with fried egg rolls. (B5) As I had his leftovers for breakfast this morning, I could weigh in. It was pretty good! Here's a logistical thing that kind of bothers me. (Note that it didn't bother anyone else.) At the end of the meal the server comes with the bill, and a portable credit card machine. He stands at the table, comments about adding the tip if one chooses, and waits to complete the transaction. I personally prefer the bill to be presented, the server to walk away and the patron to indicate when he or she is ready to pay, without someone hovering above -- particularly when the restaurant isn't busy. You know if you walk into a Vietnamese restaurant and over 99.9% of the patrons eating there are Vietnamese (there was one white dude) you're at the right place... Now lets get this out...I wouldn't know good pho from fake tae kwon do...you know movie kung fu...My Taiwanese friend brought me here and she says its the best pho in all of Cherokee county...since I've never had pho in any county...I'm going to take her word for it. The location is off of Bells Ferry and Eagle Drive across the street from Walmart and the Taco truck people...it's a couple of doors down from the Dollar Store. The restaurant is really big but it's got good energy...obviously something knows their fung Shui because it wasn't didn't feel echoey or cold...we were immediately treated by the host and got a nice booth by the window. I ended up ordering what my friend ordered which was the pho with mix meat...the broth was flavorful, the portions was very generous, all the ingredients were fresh and service was fantastic. I love pho! Anytime I have a chance I'm taking it. I ordered the Tenderloin Pho and their new appetizer Steamed Pork Buns. My food came out and it was delicious but My steamed pork bun still hadn't arrived. The waiter did admit he had forgotten them when I asked and some were brought out shortly. I loved them the sweet dough and savory pork combined was amazing! I would have given four stars but I had to ask them to bring out my dumplings and it was no longer an appetizer. I love Vietnamese food and usually go to Saigon Café. However, I decided to try this place since it's closer to my house. I've been eating Vietnamese food for over 35 years and this was by far the worst Vietnamese food I've ever had. The chicken and pork was so dry and hard. It was inedible. The fish sauce had some kind of other spice in it like cinnamon, which does not go in fish sauce I definitely will not be returning to this place. This place is fairly new and my boyfriend has been here a few times. He said it was really good so we decided to go for lunch on a Sunday. First of all, this place is HUGE. I wasn't expecting it to be such a big place, but there's plenty of parking. It's located across a Walmart and in the same shopping center as Dollar Tree. I ordered egg rolls for my appetizer and for my main, I ordered the pho with meatballs and steak. I love that you can customize your bowl. They let you choose either 2 or 3 meats if you want to make your own. Egg rolls were good, but the pho was the star. The broth was super rich and just tasted really authentic. It was like eating pho off buford hwy but way closer to home! Service was fast and they have a call button at the table if you need service. This is great b/c if you need something, you're not wasting time looking around for your server. *Update: Went again today for lunch and tried the grilled pork banh mi. Andy is the owner and he also cooks the food and you can really taste the fact that he cares about his customers in his food. They don't give you any veggies with your pho in addition they had hardly no shrimp in the spring rolls, I am not looking forward to going back to this establishment . My wife and I both thoroughly enjoy multiple of their different soup options (especially the bbq pork soup!) We go quite often and are always impressed with the portion sizes as well as the friendly customer service. The thai tea is a must get! Their space is definitely bigger than their dine-in demand, which I hope won't push them out of business in the future, because the customer service and the food are phenomenal. Came here between baseball games at a local baseball park so it was more of a light lunch. Ordered the spring rolls, the bbq pork sandwich (Bahn mi) and the combination vermicelli. The shrimp spring rolls were first and they were TINY portions. Compared to the other Vietnamese places we've been to and compared to the price (4.75), we did not feel like it was a good deal. The sandwich was 6.99 and I believe it used to be cheaper. Also not a great deal. It didn't taste authentic although it was just fine. Vermacelli was good but there were not that many shrimp. Overall my favorite dish was the vermacelli. This place isn't as good as pho dakao (which I feel like is the gold standard in the suburbs), but it's decent and I did appreciate how they tried to cut everything into half when they realized we were sharing. read more
