I have loved this place ( even through the pandemic). Not sure what has happened, but the food I ordered did not taste fresh , but instead it tasted old and reheated. I especially noticed this with my Coconut Shrimp ( usually my all time favorite)! I was talking to friends the other night and they had the same experience recently as well. I gave it 2 stars because the sesame balls were hot and fresh. I hope they can turn things around. read more

This place is great. The food is always delicious and the people who work here are helpful and nice which is getting hard to find in the AV, but their attitude and kindness is MOST appreciated! This low rating is not for the food, let's get that straight. However, I will no longer visit Dragon Garden because I was treated SO RUDELY by one of the younger servers that I had to post here. He was rude on the phone, was not friendly at all, sarcastic and ... I should have just hung up and ordered something else, but I wanted delish Chinese food. And they have that. But when I got there, my order was ready, the young lady at the cash register and I wanted to make sure it was the right order, and out comes this young man who I assumed was working for his parents that day. I recognized his dull, sour demeanor and lacklustered, unenthused voice from the phone. He hurriedly gave me my total, took my card, swiped it, and shoved it and the receipt across the counter. The whole time he engaged with me, he was curt and not engaging...just rude. I spent 55.00 that day to get treated like I didn't belong there. Never again. Not ever. The food is amazing, but that negative, repulsive attitude spoiled my appetite. read more

Love coming here because of their extremely large portion sizes. Even their party trays are packed. Food is pretty good too. The reason why I gave 4 stars is because we had a little get together with friends and we ordered a tray of orange chicken and fried rice one week before. My husband called the day of for pick up at 11am and they haven't made it yet. He confirmed with the person on the phone that we wanted orange chicken and fried rice still. This place is top notch anyone that says less needs to have their head examined. You definitely get a lot of bang for your buck here. Let me say the food is decent for the old price. Now the down side. The prices went up at least 15% and the serving take out Styrofoam trays are about 20% smaller. Yes they blamed it on economy when i asked, they didn't even acknowledge my concern. I could accept the price increase or the smaller portion but not both. y'all need to come out and give dragon garden a try! I'm honestly very content with what I had when I visited. The atmosphere is nice and welcoming! There was a line when I went which already made me feel like it was worth it because others were eager to eat their food. I asked about their popular entree flavors and the nice lady told me coconut shrimp* and kung pao so I decided to try those along with the noodles. *if you don't like sweet with savory...do not get the coconut shrimp with your meal! These people give VERY generous servings and allow you to sample the other entrees if you'd like as well. The food itself was very good to me and I prefer it more than panda. I feel like this will probably vary towards others because when people see these type of reviews they expect to be over the top. It's fast food, great taste, and you get a generous portion of it and I'm all for that. I'll definitely stop by If I need something quick and cheap to fill me up. I also used my card separately to purchase a drink... just to see if the other reviewer was right about their experience and I had no extra charge for using it. Found them on door dash, looked them up here before eating. No regrets. A few people said that the Thai iced tea was the best ever... I drank it and initially felt like it was "normal". Then a few days later I got Thai iced tea from another place and realized... yup... best Thai iced tea in AV. And their food portions are huge! Ordered online and the food smelled amazing once picked up! However, all six of us were so disappointed! The sweet and sour sauce was separate from the chicken which seemed like a good thing. Pouring the sauce it was so thin and had no flavor! The beef with broccoli had the best flavor but the remainder of the dinner was sub par in flavor. Some of the meat, chicken and beef, has cold spots like it was just pulled from the fridge and partially reheated. The shrimp in the fried rice tasted old ....only one person ate their plate. Two stars only because the beef with broccoli actually had flavor. We purposely avoided Panda Exoress hoping to get fresh food. Definitely not it! read more

I was looking for good Chinese food. Decided to try this place on a whim. I ordered a three-item combo plate, honey chicken, black pepper beef, and kung pao chicken. I also ordered half fried rice and noodles. The noodles were tasteless, no flavor at all. The black peppered beef seemed to have a faint fish odor and taste. Must be new owners. Food hasn't been the same . Quality has seriously gone down hill . Noodles lack the flavor they used to have . Orange chicken barely taste like chicken just fried breading . String bean chicken now is all string beans and barely any chicken , the chicken might as well be black pepper chicken how much pepper they are putting . Trying for the first time. I have to say we almost turned around and left because walking in it looks like lunch counter Chinese. I saw a menu and looked it over hoping I was missing something and sure enough the counter menu is different. I ordered combo egg foo young (20 minute wait but worth it) which is made to order. My husband ordered BBQ pork. The pork is kept in broth in large slabs and cut to order making it super tender and fresh, no dry pieces here. The egg foo young was loaded with everything and served with a wonderful brown gravy. The portions are huge family style and even great the next day cold. read more
