We were craving pho and decided to check this place out since it's nearby. Overall, the experience was just okay. I normally don't mind giving places another try if the service stands out, even if the food is average, but I can't really say that was the case here. The lady at the counter seemed annoyed and like she didn't want to be there. She came off a bit rude, if I'm being honest. I also noticed she was smiling and thanking some customers as they left, but when we left it felt more like a whatever attitude, which made the experience feel a little unwelcoming. As for the food, the pho was okay but nothing really stood out to me. The noodles reminded me more of instant ramen noodles than the type I usually expect in pho. The food was good overall, but the experience was a bit frustrating. We waited about an hour and 15 minutes for our food, which felt really long not sure if it was do to the rain. We also had to ask for bean sprouts and lemon since they weren't brought out with the meal. When our pho came out we were told they were out of pho noodles, so they substituted thick egg noodles instead. However, just a few minutes after we received our food, the table next to us was served pho with the regular noodles. That was confusing and disappointing ,not sure if it was a mistake or miscommunication, but it didn't feel consistent. The food itself tasted good, but the service unfortunately wasn't up to par. It's a walk in little restaurant, you order at the counter and they take the food to your table. Services is good and the place is clean. I got the beef pho it was good for some reason the broth taste a sweet but you can fix it by adding lemon and chili oil. I also got the shrimp spring rolls and it was so good. The prices are reasonable despite the sales tax of the city and the pho is delicious. I'd say this spot has the best pho in the AV area! 3/02/2025: We haven't been to Angkor in SO very long.. and on this surprise rainy day after a road trip to the Kern River Valley, a bowl of hot soup sounded like perfection! I was too excited and forgot to take a pic of our Lemon Pepper Chicken Wing appetizer. They were really tasty, but we would have liked them to be just a little more "extra crispy". Would love if the "Salt & Pepper" seasoning was an option here, but we would still order them again. We almost always order Cha Gio (crispy egg roll) at Vietnamese restaurants, but the young lady at the counter confirmed that theirs are rolled in wonton skins instead of rice paper which are our favorite. So crispy and blistered to soak in the nuoc cham dipping sauce. I ordered their Beef Pho with the raw steak on the side. Delicious broth, nice and clear.. and a generous portion of quality beef! So far it's the best pho I've had in the AV.. but I do need to try a bowl at the other Vietnamese joint in Palmdale. Hubby ordered the Rice dish with Salt & Pepper Shrimp. Super crispy, fresh and well seasoned. They either grilled or sautéed the jalapeño rings on the side which was a great touch! Much easier for non heat seekers to eat. A true gem here in the AV I got recommended by a friend of mine and let me tell you it did not disappoint. It was super flavorful and I can see why this place gets crowded. People call this the best pho in Antelope Valley for a reason. I'm from the Sgv and this is some of the best noodle soup I've had. It was the perfect meal after a ski trip. The restaurant was spacious and we got seated immediately. The music playing while we dined was tastefully catered to a Gen Z audience which my sister and I appreciated. - Tom Yum with glass noodle ($14.99): A very clean and tomato flavored broth with chewy thin noodles. Had a generous amount of tender beef slices and veggies (mushroom, basil, tomato, bean sprouts) This tom yum was not too aggressively flavored and was very good compared to the tom yum i've had before. (8.5/10) - Pho ($14.99): A sweeter broth with noodles that had an al dente, bouncy texture which I really enjoyed. Also extremely flavorful and generous with its extremely tender beef portions. (8.5/10) - Spring Rolls ($4.99): A bit underwhelming with its flavors with its abundance of neutral tasting veggies. I think if there was a bit thicker pork slice in each roll instead of pork belly bits, it would add to the flavor of the dish. If came with a fish sauce w/ peanuts dip that gave jt some more flavor. It was an affordable appetizer that could be improved. (5/10) They also had a homemade chili oil that was extremely fragrant with spices and wasn't too spicy. Very clean and friendly service restaurant. I had a dumpling style soup and it was a LARGE bowl! The meat was generous portions and I love their assortment of hot sauce hoisin sauce and chili oil. Waiting for my food took about 15min but it was so worth it because the food was definitely very delicious and flavorful! I can confidently say that the Vietnamese pho had the authentic flavors and aroma that it is supposed to have. I will say, to start, customer service was great! They had a packed restaurant and it was clean. I read reviews on yelp being there are not a lot of pho places in the antelope valley and this place was ranked #1. So of course I came and I'm sorry to say the broth didn't have any depth to it, tasted like beef broth from the box. Also I had a lot of the fat floating on the top and the meat was fatty for my beef pho and that's not a norm for me. I ordered the chow fun noodles which came to me with minimum seasoning and seemed to be not fully cooked. Due to it not being to my expectations I kindly went back in to possibly talk about exchanging the meal or getting. Possible refund. There was plenty of parking available since this is at a strip mall. The owners are nice and the interior is modern and clean. This restaurant has a Khmer name but is missing some of the quintessential Khmer dishes like beef sticks or noodles with soup on the side. I ordered Kuy Teave Cha with beef (#10) and egg rolls (#3). The noodles came in about 5 minutes, which was actually quicker than the egg rolls. The owners told me that the egg rolls are small, and they were. The egg rolls came with sweet and sour sauce. They remind me a lot of the egg rolls that I would get from Lee's Sandwiches when I was a kid. I could taste some fish sauce in the noodles. For some reason I expected flat and wide noodles, but I think they used the correct style for Kuy Teave. The beef is a bit chewy and bland but the overall flavor is there in the dish. This is not as traditional and doesn't have the same taste as a Khmer restaurant from somewhere like Long Beach but I feel like food has adapted to cater to a wider audience. Overall I think it's a decent restaurant and I enjoyed my experience there. read more

We finally got to eat here today! The food was wonderful. We shared spring rolls, chicken with basil, and chicken curry. The curry was a savory coconut curry with perfectly cooked vegetables (carrot, green beans, onion, red and green peppers). They were tender, but not mushy. The spring rolls were fun and beautiful, but only the dip had flavor. The chicken with basil was also deliciously spicy, but a bit on the oily side. The rice was plentiful and perfect. We took leftovers home, as the portions are generous. The service was friendly and the ambiance relaxed. My only complaint is that there is no menu to read in hand. You have to order from the large menu behind the counter, and my husband and I both had trouble seeing it clearly! Still, we will back again. One of the best restaurants in the AV, for sure. read more
