The Dragon House buffet is the best in the area. We've been going there for years, and our kids grew up on it. Lots of variety, comfortable seating, friendly staff. We especially love that they have lunch and dinner pricing for very similar buffets. Parking is ample and easily accessible. read more

Food always hot and fresh here which is great for the buffet. If they run out they refill everything quickly and the Ambiance with traditional Chinese music or great symphony music is a nice touch. Service is run through the owner who runs a tight ship yelling out orders what's needed next or cleanup. She is a workhorse machine barking out orders but that's why it's still here as many places next to her have come and gone. She will check in with you to make sure you're happy which I like too! This place has gone down hill. It's bad! First thing I noticed was that they had a portion of the dining room devoted to setting up containers of prepared food. At first, I thought they had some kind of catering order to have that much food set out in containers sitting on tables in the dining room, but as I looked, it appeared that they were prepped for customers to just walk in and purchase to go. The thing that disturbed me a lot was the fact that this food was just sitting out on tables at room temperature and it wasn't clear how long it had been there. And they were actively trying to sell it. I ordered a buffet, which was about $15 with a drink. When I went to grab a plate, I could hear a staff member in the kitchen almost screaming at coworkers. That person continued to talk very loudly, throughout the restaurant and while on the phone. Maybe that's the vibe there now. And who knows, maybe it was some kind of argument going on. It's just not the same calm environment that it used to be. The food trays had very little in them and most of it had been there for quite a while. The food that I tried wasn't as great as I remember it to be. When I went to grab a soda, I noticed it was flat (almost like syrup and water, no carbonation at all). I thought maybe it was impacting just one of them, so I dumped it out and tried another. It was also flat. I dumped it out and tried a third one... also flat. I also noticed the seats at the tables were in a lot of disrepair with seats ripped up and patched. I used to love this place. To be honest, this is probably the last time I'll be back. Went for lunch around 12:15. Only four or five tables of people and the buffet was half empty. Dishes were almost all meat with very little vegetables. Think Chinese American food from the 80's. The only good this was the crab Rangoon. This was excellent. Glasses for drinks are very small. Everyone had to get their own refills three or four times. I have gone to this restaurant for over 20 years. It was very good under previous owners, Barry and Rosa. It has been much different over last few years. I always had a very nice greeting from Rosa who knew our names. Now, a bit of a communication problem with hosts---cashiers...when enter. Polite, but not like Rosa. Today, I did arrive for a late lunch, about 1:20, so after peak lunch crowd, and maybe only 2 tables of diners in the restaurant, I expected with a smaller late lunch crowd you might have a smaller fresh entree selection on the buffet. I understand that you can not ....afford, to keep all buffet items full....as after peak lunch times. But, no food was fresh on buffet. All containers on the buffet were near empty. While I was there for lunch...maybe 30 minutes, only one dish was brought out to the buffet, broccoli, which I enjoy, but no fresh entrees. Again, every container was near empty, and likely the remaining food had been there for....maybe an hour? If I owned the restaurant, I would say to the walk in customer after peak lunch time....we cannot offer a full buffet at this time, but take what you want, from the buffet, and we will serve one, maybe two fresh items for you, which were offered on the buffet. Perhaps you downsize it a bit, as there are a perhaps...maybe...a few decent buffet items on the buffet. I assume, the remaining items on the buffet would be thrown out after lunch so what does this cost the owner to keep a happy diner. I am not a professional chef, but I am an experienced cook, and know it would be easy to stir fry most buffet ...Chinese dishes very easily and quickly. Regarding cleanliness and decor etc...when I arrived late...after peak lunch, most tables were full of dishes, and not cleaned, I would say at least 70% still had remaining plates, glasses etc on tables. After about 10 minutes, a bus boy came out to clean tables. He did appear to do a good job in cleaning them. Used a spray bottle of cleaning fluid, and did a good job of rubbing down table top. Most of the seats around me were torn and need of repair. I had no napkins in the napkin container in my booth. This review is rated....for a late lunch, as I have eaten here around lunch time and would rate 3 for typical Chinese lunch buffet. read more

Food taste good. Each time when they put new food onto the buffet it's just a small portion especially toward closing that way they don't have too much left over. You find items you don't usually see in other Chinese buffets like the crispy pan fried noodles and they separate the sauce from it so you can add to it when u get to to avoid being soggy. This is what I'd call an aggressively mediocre, all-you-can-stand Chinese buffet. It just was not very good food. Pretty small buffet selection limited to some of the Chinese food staples you'd expect - in this case lots and lots of (inexpensive to make) chicken offerings. Bourbon chicken. Sweet and sour chicken. Teriyaki chicken. General Tso's chicken (which looked like the dregs of what was left over from lunch). Etc. etc. Nothing was good or very hot besides the egg drop soup and lo mein, which made me think most of the food had been sitting out for a while. They also had a small salad bar with just the basics and a dessert area with some iced cream and rice krispy treats. And of course fortune cookies. The bill for dinner was over $15, so I didn't feel like I got my money's worth. I think I had food from here previously, the day I was released from the hospital after surgery. My parents picked it up. It was better than the buffet but still not very good. I'd say this place is fine in a pinch, but if you're looking for really good Chinese food, probably look elsewhere. read more

If I could give fewer stars I would. Spent $9-10 on two entrees. They are 95% veggies, and undercooked veggies at that. Mongolian beef is void of flavor except for the overpowering burn of raw onion: pictures. And the Cantonese fried noodles's sauce is like water. There is maybe 2oz of pork on the noodles and the serving is too generous for that small amount of meat. Also pictures. Definitely will not be returning. Hopefully the buffet is better than carry out. -I will say, the steamed pot stickers were wonderful.
