One of my favorite to-go Chinese restaurants in Indy. The food is prepared fast and it's always delicious. Would definitely recommend!

If I could leave 0 stars i would. Food is nasty. Tastes like super old oil. Lobby is SUPER dirty. Staff is very unpleasant. DO NOT RECOMMEND

I have eaten here a few times. Alas there bourbon chicken did not. Now chicken at any Chinese or Japanese restaurant is questionable and I DID a gut feeling I should not have gotten it. The texture of the chicken was like beef and the taste was of pork, as if it has been cooked beside pork or within the same oil or pan. Their low mein and chow mein are just fine. Also I've gotten their seafood dish which passed. Their Shrimp spring rolls could use flavor as it has none. Their shrimp is very good as it's included when I said their seafood passes haha. I have nothing against this China Wok, it is one of the few Chinese places that is acceptable haha. Just don't order the bourbon chicken. Asian Ciao in Castleton mall is better. read more

Service was the same as most no seating carry out. The food was tasteless and had no flavor I ordered pepper steak and chicken fried rice. Both only had the flavor of the soy sauce I added. Not what I was expecting. read more

It's so strange to see reviews that are 5 star and then 1 star. I read every review and only saw one middle 3 star. I just wonder how there can be such a difference. Well I'm giving a 3 because thats what is is, hust average. I agree with the post that said nothing sets this place apart. It just like every other Chinese food joint. Nothing sets apart. I also agree with the post that said they had beef and broccoli and don't know what the meat is but it's not beef yes I feel the same way. I had a small beef and broccoli and yeah I just don't see how that meat is beef. Husband had shrimp egg foo young and said it was just okay. Well we both established that we like foon yings better. Fast, excellent food! Schzwan chicken, fried rice, spring rolls and hot and sour soup! Chicken with iced vegetables, fried rice, and egg drop soup. All good was hot, ready in 10 min for pick up and absolutely hit the spot when we ate it. Could have been better! read more

Service was very subpar. I felt like the lady at the checkout (I did take out) was very mad that she had to take an order. Customer service/friendliness is severely lacking. I got Kung Pow chicken and fried rice which was ok. However the crab Rangoon I ordered was not good. Very minimal filling (and one didn't even have any!) and over-fried. read more

Hungry for some Chinese? This is the place to go! Tucked away in Oaklandon Shoppes at the corner of US 36 and Oaklandon road. My family ordered a variety of dishes. My wife and I always get their General Tso's chicken. Delicious with a slight hint of spice! We also order the chicken fried rice. Yummy! My nephew loves the orange chicken. Finally my sister in law raves about the steak and peppers. Never a bad meal here and you don't have to worry about the drive thru getting your order wrong. We thought we were crazy, but upon cutting pieces apart found that we were correct. Zero chicken was used to fulfill our order. That doesn't happen by accident. This is our go-to chinese stop. Best dishes IMO are sesame chicken, general tsaos (which we always get for free because we spend over $35 an order) sweet and sour chicken, combination fried rice, moo shu pork, lo mein, and crab rangoon. The fried dumplings are amazing, but I will eat them all in one sitting so... The orange chicken is also good, but I'm not a huge fan of the orange rind. I have tried a few similar restaurants in the area and this is the one we keep coming back to. My favorite is the sweet and sour chicken with a side of pork fried rice. I usually order for takeout and they answer the phone so quickly and have the food ready in under 10 minutes which makes it so easy. The staff is always very friendly and makes the whole experience a pleasure. There is parking right in front of the entrance which makes access easy. read more

They are at the corner of Pendleton Pike and Oaklandon Rd, on the North side of PP. Rather new, so it's still pretty clean, both up front in the dining area, and the unisex restroom. Standard walk-up Chinese menu with backlit pictures on the wall. Order at the counter and they bring the food out to you. Self-serve utensils. Dine-in orders are served on a real plate, not in to-go containers. My Moo Goo Gai Pan had fresh mushrooms, not canned; so that is a plus fo rme. Canned soda. No fountain service. We moved from Columbus, IN a while back and miss the Chinese take out near where we used to live and ever since moving to Indy nowhere else could compare. But this place hits the spot! I asked if they used MSG. The young woman said "No". But, they must be using something. I had egg drop soup, white rice and cheese fried wontons, and I was fine. But, later I ate the Green Pepper Steak and got so sick. I wish I knew what it might be. I don't believe there was anything wrong with the food. Actually, it tasted very good. I was reluctant to try this restaurant because of the area. Glad I did. Better than happy dragon on Geist. Food presentation was great.. Tried general Tso and sesame chicken.. A little disappointed they were in the same sauce (some places give one more of a spicy kick) but it did not matter.. There was NO gristle in the chicken!!! This is a first! Veggies were all fresh tasting and the fried rice was the white cooked not the yellow that I cannot stand.. Very impressed and will definitely be back! read more

We had read several comments and decided to try it for lunch and we were not disappointed in the outcome. The food was plenty and very reasonably priced, these days it's hard to get a freshly prepared complete meal for under $7 but we got and will most definitely return. read more

Food was normal chinese food, however, their child was sitting in a booth listening to youtube videos on a tablet, with a big speaker plugged in. It was blasting profanity through the whole room, and while I'm not offended, I had my 8 year old sister with me and it was super inappropriate. The woman I presume to be his mother kept coming over and feeding him (literally) slices of orange and not addressing the extremely loud videos. If they are that inconsiderate in front of house, what are they doing in the back of house? We would never eat there again I think. read more

No exaggeration. The cashew chicken had 2 cashews in it. The Szechuan beef had three pieces of beef in it. It should be called Szechuan onions and green peppers. Frozen and then deep fried egg rolls. Same for the crab rangoon. Terrible Chinese take out. Go to Happy Cuisine a few miles away for better food. read more

I'm pretty much in love with this place...it's become my go-to dinner stop on nights when I don't want to cook. ;) The crab rangoon, egg drop soup, moo goo gai pan, and hunan chicken are all delicious. I really like the broccoli in garlic sauce as well - they'll make it extra spicy if you ask! The lunch specials are nicely priced for a good amount of food, so this place is very popular at work during the week, too. Leftovers have all reheated well, except for when I burned the crab rangoon in the toaster oven but discovered the extra done edges still taste good...so it wasn't really a problem, ha. read more
