a meal of rice, broccoli, and chicken
    Alexa N.

Ordered via DoorDash to be delivered. We got a general tsao's chicken, beef and broccoli combo, and wor sue gai. Compared to some other takeout Chinese restaurants, this one seemed the most fresh and less artificial (not that it's not). The sauces doesn't look dyed, chicken was crispy, and portions were generous. It is more expensive than a usual take out place so that's the only thing.

Beef chow mein. This is absolutely the worst food ever. I am going to re-order from another restaurant just terrible just terrible.!

I just ordered this from Uber Eats and this is the most disgusting food I've ever eaten not taste no spice no nothing. Boneless spareribs were literally like beef jerky and not in the good way.

We order delivery from here every so often and for Americanized Chinese food it fits the bill. The prices are reasonable and the delivery is pretty fast. I had the Szechuan shrimp. It wasn't as spicy as I would've made it but it was spicy enough and probably too hot for a lot of people. The shrimp was done right and the veggies were just right, crisp tender . My husband is fond of the hot and sour soup and reports his shrimp pad Thai is okay . Okay with a pleasant tone , not a begrudging ok. We had a laugh over the fortune cookies and they sent along plenty of soy sauce for the kids fried rice.

Run-of-the-mill Chinese. Flavor could be better. I got the Hunan chicken, husband got Empress chicken (does not have mushrooms like usual) and daughter got Lo Mein (pictured). She liked the noodles more than other places we have visited. The chicken was not the best quality and had several questionable gristle bits. Price was a little bit more. Would get again but would not be first choice.

Got their menu at my apartment and since it was on my way to where I was going, decided to try. Got cashew shrimp with white rice and a can of Diet Pepsi for under $13. When I ordered told lady I would be eating part there and take rest home. I also let her know that I would need chop sticks. Food brought to table in to go containers. Had to ask for a plate. No napkins was brought with it and didn't see any out on table or order counter. Had to ask for bag and fortune cookie at the counter when I was done with my meal. No one came to check how I was doing. Food was OK for Americanized Chinese. Lots of cashews and fair amount of shrimp. Enough to get 2 meals out of. The place looks a little run down. No fountain pop and Pepsi products only. With the lack of service and those facts, I gave this 3 stars because I couldn't give it 2 1/2 stars that it really earned. Will keep looking for a better Americanized Chinese place close to my place.

    Hunan Bean Curd
    Steve A.

Dragon House is pretty good Chinese. It's better than the average strip mall. The inside is rather nice. It's mostly a carry out business. The food comes out pretty fast. I had the Hunan bean curd. It's about $7 for the lunch portion. There were lots of vegetables. It has a great assortment of bamboo shoots, mushrooms, and others. The tofu was firm without being stiff. It's located a bit aways from me but it's good if you're in the area. The dining area is much nicer than the average strip mall Chinese restaurant. If you're looking for good Chinese in Galloway go to Dragon House. It's great after hiking around Battelle Darby Creek Metro Park. They have a pretty good healthy selection.

    Orange Chicken with Fried Rice

How does this place have a 3-star rating? I almost gave it 5 stars. Truthfully, it's 4 star food with 5 star service. Here's what I mean: Let's be honest, you know you're not ordering gourmet food from a Chinese place in a strip mall. But as far as cheap, fast, Chinese food goes, it's easily as good or better than any other cheap Chinese place. But they are also really fast, and really nice. Last time we went there (about an hour ago), my wife ordered the wrong thing. Genuinely, our mistake. But when she called them back, they they replaced the meal, for no charge. Seriously--what restaurant does that? And all of their meals are easily 2 meals. I attached a picture -- I've already eaten all of the broccoli (only about 8 pieces) and at least 20 pieces of chicken from this Orange Chicken. So for like 11 bucks, you're getting 50-60 pieces of chicken, a bit of broccoli, and about a pound of rice. (I did shell out the extra $1.25 for fried rice). And the Crab Rangoon is too notch. Obviously, there are a hundred places like this in every city in America, but if you live close to this one, I'd suggest it over the other ones in the area. (Also, online ordering was really simple.)

    Fried dumplings (don't do it)
    Michaela W.

I have long been a customer and advocate of Dragon House, often vetoing my husband or kids over their favorite Chinese places in town. They were my first Chinese restaurant I patronized when I moved to Columbus and they met all.my expectations. Over the years I have tried better and comprable places but kept coming back to my old standby. But not anymore. I've been sick so I got the standard egg drop soup and threw in a side of dumplings. These dumplings were atrocious. Small, jiggly, and slimy. Believe me when I tell you I rarely turn down a dumpling, and I've never spit one out mid-chew... until today.

    Roast Pork fried rice.

Do take out from here. They are ok, if you ask for extra spicy, it still wont be spicy. Typical menu, average prices.

Almond cookies for the win! Onto the food! I got general tso's tofu, and egg foo young. They serve real sticky rice, and the up charge of $1.50 for fried rice is completely worth it. The fried rice is an absolutely beautiful, saffron/turmeric yellow, and has delicious flavor with a nice healthy sprinkling of veggies and egg. The sticky rice is everything it should be. I'm going to say hands-down this is as good as or better than the Chinese place of my childhood in Cleveland. The egg fu young was fresh and fluffy and not greasy and filled with delicately cooked veggies. The sauce delicious with an aromatic hint of 5 spice. And while I ordered mildly spicy, for the general tso's tofu, it came out no spicy. I would recommend mild spicy. They do do tofu the right way it's firm and chewy and an excellent meat substitute. While fried it is not greasy and manages to be both chewy and Light to the tooth. It seems I've become used to the stale oil taste of not so great Chinese food places. But this was just absolutely delightful with none of that weird back flavor. Despite having forgotten my almond cookies, which I plan to go back for, I would absolutely eat here on a regular basis without hesitation and even bring friends and family out to eat or bring it home for dinner on the regular if I lived closer. Portions are absolutely worth the price. You won't be sorry. In fact, I bet that you'll be delighted!

It's inside the AmVets building on west broad street. Don't need to be a member as long as you're coming in to eat. The prices are pretty good on the food. The prices are amazing from the bar since it's AmVets. The server was actually the wife of the owner, Tammy, so that was a nice treat. She gave us the low down on the place and all the unique sauces they have. All made in house. Great info. Great service. The wings are a nice size. Comparable to Roosters and that's sayin something because Roosters wings are bigger than any I've ever had. We got fries and onion rings to start. Both yummy. Another patio told is to get the wizard sauce. Apparently it's a wing sauce but he said it's best on the sides. It was delicious on the onion rings. The sauce list is very unique and very diverse. I went with a classic, garlic parm. It was good. I've always wanted to try Alabama White. It was very tasty. If you like the horseradish flavor. Our friend got the scorpion wings and the kit him on fire. He got sample taster of the hottest one that's not even on the menu. It was Major Pain. He said he tasted awful but wow was it hot lol. It was super thick like a tomato paste. Other friend got honey smacks. It was pretty good. Not super hot but had a tingle for sure. The mean mug was pretty tasty. My husband got the hot honey and said it wasn't really very hot. Asian sticky. That one was good. Not hot. The ranch was weird. Pretty sure it was a dill dip lol. Tastes and looks like the dill dip I make for veggies. We would definitely go back. Only reason I did 3 starts was cuz my husband didn't find a sauce he likes so we will just have to try more next time!

Listen. This was a struggle in several ways. But worth it…read more I kept hearing great things about this, and I had some free time on a Wednesday, which is dollar wing day. Random lane closures on Broad made it a pain to get there. It is surrounded by rundown strip malls, and the access and parking are pretty bumpy. It's hard to get in: there are locked doors with buzzers, and it is not real clear which door you should use. There is a pickup door, very clearly marked, but the regular entrance is just a little portico, the entrance to the vets, so press one of the buzzers. Inside, it's a standard veterans hall. Dark, bar the main attraction, with tables, pool tables too, quiet in the afternoon. The wings part was pretty busy, with dine in and carry out customers. And I knew that, and I knew wings take a while, so I was prepared to wait. Service was excellent, friendly, helpful, from several people during my stay. And the food was excellent. I was going to get onion rings, but they said on Wednesdays they don't have room in the fryer for those. I was a little disappointed because I figured they probably have great onion rings. Oh well. So I got the pretzel bites. A fairly small order for seven dollars, but the best pretzel bites I've ever had, I think because they were deep-fried. (They're smaller than onion rings.) Hot and crispy on the outside, tender inside, with a good honey mustard sauce. You can also get ranch I think. And since wings were a dollar I wanted to get a bunch but I wasn't super hungry, so I got six. Regular wings, with the Alabama white sauce. Perfectly cooked, big, meaty, juicy wings, crispy on the outside, covered with sauce but not smothered. The sauce was a little smooth and creamy with a little heat from the horseradish, call it medium. Very good. Went well with the wings. The wings even plain would've been excellent. And they have dozens of sauces, a bunch of which I would like to try. Check their Facebook to make sure they're open. The last few months they have had some issues, which seem to be sorted out mostly. Allow yourself some time. Come on Wednesday and get as many wings as you can eat. Mm-mm.
