This is clearly a take out place. My husband and I went to have a sit down dinner but there was no place to sit other than to wait for your to go order. We ordered take out and it too about 15 minutes. The food was okay but everything was slightly sweet. Even the things we ordered "extra spicy" were sweet and not exactly spicy. Disappointed to say the least. After reading some race reviews about the Dragon House, my wife and I decided to order for delivery. Got the sweet and sour chicken with fire rice. The chicken was decent, but the fried rice smelled AND tasted like the cattle barn at your local county fair. I'm not saying that to make it sound disgusting, but that's EXACTLY what it smelled and tasted like. The egg roll... Same thing, smelled like a barn, and tasted kinda like B.O. smells. Came in for lunch. Service was fast and friendly. Ordered general tso's and garlic chicken. The egg roll was delicious and general tso was average nothing to write home about. The garlic chicken was more like a hot and spicy dish instead but didn't complain. Not a bad place to grab a quick and cheap lunch. read more

My husband and I ordered from here this evening for dinner. I wasn't impressed. The egg roll tasted like oil. The fried rice I ordered was just okay. The rice didn't have much flavor. I ordered fried chicken wings and the portion was bigger than I expected however the wings had no flavor. They tasted as if they weren't cooked all the way. I also ordered the wonton soup. Now that was great! My husband ordered the bbq spareribs and they were small. He said they tasted okay. I would not recommend this place. This is the closest Chinese place to us and we order from here at least 3 times a month! We love the hot & sour soup, wonton soup (and the crunchy things they give you with them), egg rolls, spring rolls, chicken with vegetables, chicken fried rice, and sweet & sour chicken. First oder from this place was good we decided to get chicken teriyaki and chicken chow main. It was good both were not what i figure they would be. The teriyaki came on a stick it was alright but not much flavor but not terrible. Came with a large portion of fried rice which tasted very good but was just a tad greasy, but will make left overs better during the reheat. The chicken chow main was alright lots of greens and onions not much sauce or noodles. Flavor was decent nothing out of this world could use more chicken. Again came with a huge serving of rice. The eggrolls were honstly the best part of the meal nice crunch but not over cooked very flavorfull. Delivery was only 2 dollars and got here within decent time. I've only eaten here once, so I can't speak for too many items on the menu, but I can say it is incredibly difficult to find good dumplings in Columbus and this place has some good ones. They are beautifully crispy on the bottom line a perfect potsticker, the wrapper isn't doughy like many places seem to have, it's the size of your typical wonton wrapper. The dipping sauce is also wonderful. Perfectly sweet and spicy. Also got the fried rice, good flavor, nothing spectacular but I would order it again. read more

Ordered for the first time. Asked for delivery. Took over 1 hour, literally ordered at 9:17pm and he arrived at 10:40. Called back 3 times. Said we'd pick it up and they said he had already left. This place is horrible!! I live 2 miles from the store and it took 2 1/2 hours to receive my order!! Called twice to check on the order and the woman who answered was very rude. Dragon House offers great tasting food at super prices. The egg rolls are excellent--super light and flaky and very full of good stuff. They are nice people-- very efficient too, and the food is always ready when we get there. Once I was on my way to pick up food on my way home from work and I got stuck in traffic on I-70. Called in an order for delivery. Woman on phone asked for my address (I live right around the corner), gave me the total ($15.50) and promised "10 minutes ". Now I know better than to believe that, but my food still hadn't shown up an hour later. I called again and she ARGUED with me that it was a pickup despite the fact that she had asked me for my address. So, she said she would have it delivered. Little did I realize she would send the order that had been sitting an hour. On top of that, the delivery driver didn't want to give me my change! He didn't have enough to give me all of my change, like I was going to give him $20 for a $15 order. I'm a decent tipper, but don't just assume. I will never order from this place again. We had dinner at Dragon House in Galloway last night and for anyone who hasn't tried the place, don't bother. The food was awful. We actually ate there and regretted it. The teriyaki beef was over cooked shoe leather, the egg rolls had more wrapping than filling, the General Tso's Chicken just tasted bad. The sole ok item was the Combo Pad Thai, and it was just ok. My husband and I have searched high and low and Dragon House is the best Chinese food for delivery that we can find. They are usually very prompt and accurate with our order. On the rare occasion they missed something in our order, they've always returned to our house with the correct order. The food is delicious very well priced. I happened to discover Dragon House recently, and I am very glad that I did. They have a small dine-in area (focusing more on delivery) but they still provide a comfortable and inviting dine-in experience. But more importantly, they provide very delicious food. The chicken wings I had were near perfect, the only ones I've had better were the ones at the Asian Star at Sawmill. The scallop dish I had was fantastic. Also, hey! They have a scallop dish! I love scallops, but it is hard to find them in Columbus restaurants. My girlfriend was equally impressed with the moo goo gai pan. But what really struck me was the eggdrop soup. I have not had a really good eggdrop soup since the old Chinese buffet in my Florida hometown. Until now that is. Dragon House's eggdrop isn't a flavorless clumpy glop. It is flavorful and slightly salty. I look forward to trying some of their other dishes, but pulling myself away from the scallops will be difficult. read more

This is my first review I have ever written, and I felt inclined to sharing our experience. We were really excited about trying this place, and wow, what a let down. We ordered the chicken pad thai, Hunan Beef, crab Rangoon and dumplings. The pad thai was a plastic take-out container full of dry, flavorless, hair - thin pasta. This is typically what I order at Chinese restaurants, and I have had many variations of it; all being similar and full of flavor. NOT THIS! The Hunan beef was 70% green pepper, the sauce had no flavor, and the beef was extremely tough. The crab Rangoon was the only decent part of our meal. We could have gone to Golden Chopsticks, Dragon Palace, or even Wok Wok Kitchen for the same meal that would have been good, and saved approximately $6. read more

This place is consistently awful. Even after 3 supposed management changes over the past 4 years, they have kept the same cooking oil. We got cashew chicken and honey chicken, at a hefty price of $22, and it all tasted like old fish oil. Even the pork fried rice tasted like thety used old fish frying oil. Absolutely HORRIBLE customer service!!!!! I've ordered from this place for several years and unfortunately, the c.s. has steadily declined. Tonight was my last straw. I placed a delivery order and was told it would be 45 minutes to deliver. When my food had not arrived at the 1 hour mark, I called the restaurant to check status of my delivery. After being put on hold, I was told that the order was just leaving at that time. When I asked about getting a discount for the delay, the person handed the phone to the lady who took my order. I again voiced my displeasure of the wait time to her, and stated that I would like a discount for the inconvenience. She started talking over me, giving the excuse that a lot of people came in after I ordered and they can't tell how long delivery will take. As I tried to explain that she shouldn't give a time of 45 minutes for delivery if you cannot meet that deadline, she started shouting over me, not allowing me to get a word in. She rudely demanded to know if I wanted the order or not. To which I responded that they will receive a bad review from this incident and to cancel my order. She did not seem to care; which made me even more angry. I Then they had the nerve to show up later with the order. The delivery person had no idea that the conversation took place. I declined the food as I refuse to reward bad service and pay for that horrible experience. I will never order from this place again. read more
