Garlic Bread (with cheese) -- Not pictured: The amazing marinara sauce that came with it.

This was some really good pizza. Tony's is in the strip mall at Galloway and Hall in the spot where the OH Pizza & Wings recently closed. The inside looks basically the same, with a small counter for pick-up and a few tables if you want to eat there. I've never had pizza in New York, so I can't compare this to that, but I can say this was delicious. The crust was cooked perfectly, mostly chewy, with just the smallest bit of crunch, and had a nice bread-y flavor. And the Meat Lovers pizza was absolutely loaded with meat. The garlic bread was better than most pizza places -- crunchy on the outside, soft in the middle, with more of a real garlic and real butter flavor. And the marinara sauce that came with it was really good. If it's the same sauce they use on their pastas I'm sure those will be great, too. The menu is huge, with appetizers, pizzas, pastas, sandwiches, salads, wings, desserts, and more. I will definitely go back and try lots of other stuff. Hopefully everything is just as good and I'll have an update to post here. Edit: We went back and got a Stromboli (pepperoni and sausage). This helped solidify my 5-star review! (Two stromboli pics added.) Note: We ordered garlic rolls this time and they were good, but the garlic bread was better.

This pic does not do justice to the sub. This sub was enormous.

Tried Tony's Pizza for the first time this past Saturday. Tony's is located in a corner plaza in Galloway. It occupies the former OH Pizza & Wings that closed a while back. Tony's is a small place with only a couple of tables and a counter. There is a television on the wall but I wouldn't classify Tony's as a dine in place. Which is fine since I was taking the food to my dad's. I was told that they deliver through a couple of different third party outlets. I was also told that I could follow them on Facebook for deals and coupons. Aside from the owner, I was the only one in there but it was just as they opened. I told the owner that this was my first visit and I was very excited to try his food. He told me he hoped it exceeded my expectations. I ordered a 14" cheese and pepperoni pizza and two 12" Italian subs. He asked if I wanted the subs as they came and I said yes. That meant along with the meats and cheese they were topped with lettuce, onion, and tomato. The owner disappeared into the back to cook my order and I sat at one of the tables. Tony's is clean and uncluttered and bright. My food was brought to my table in about 15 minutes and it smelled heavenly. The owner told me that since this was my first visit he included an order of garlic rolls and marinara sauce for free. That was above and beyond and I thanked him for his generosity and customer service. He also told me that he put the Italian dressing on the side which is exactly how I like it. He then opened the pizza box and showed me my pizza and it was all I could do to stop myself from digging in right there. The pizza looked just like I was hoping it would. Thin crust with wavy pepperonis, the smell of herbs, and covered with lovely cheese. I thanked him and wished him well and left to go eat. The garlic rolls were soft and chewy and seasoned well. I didn't try the marinara sauce and only had one roll. The sub was massive. If I hadn't been so piggish I probably could have gotten 3 meals out of the sub instead of 2. The sub was packed to overflowing with toppings. The bread was very fresh as were the toppings. I dipped the sub into the dressing/oil once and felt it added nothing so I skipped it. The sub was very good and I enjoyed it but the pizza was the star of the show. Fresh tasting crust was nice and soft underneath with light browning and the back end crust was snappy and firm. The cheese and pepperoni was salty but not overly so. A sign on the door said that they use Ezzo for their meats and that is great as they have exceptional meat. The pizza was cut into 6 slices and with my 3 slices, half a sub, and a garlic roll I was ready for a nap. I ate the other half of the sub later that night for dinner at about 8:00pm. I reheated it a tad in the microwave and it was a touch better than it was for lunch. The tab for a 14" cheese and pep pizza and 2 12" Italian subs came to $39.00. My dad and I each got 2-3 meals out of everything so that makes it a bargain every day of the week. Especially for the high quality and tremendous taste. I'll definitely go back.

Cheese, of course, mushroom, sausage, and pepperoni

Decided to have a pizza night, and check out this pizza joint that took over OH Pizza and Wings. This place is right around the neighborhood from me. So it's very convenient. I gave it a 4 because, well, it was my first time on only really got this mushroom, sausage, and pepperoni pizza in this image. I apparently spoke with the owner and had a little chat with him. Enjoyed the chat, and I got the scoop on how it generally came to be Tony's Pizza. So with that said, at this moment I think the cost was a little more expensive but then again so is everything else. The pizza was very good and I will be obtaining more in the future.

My husband sent me a link for 'my kind of pizza'. Having been raised in NJ biting into a slice of pie it brought me back to days on the shore and family gatherings at the local pizzeria. Cannoli was perfect, pizza perfect. If you have ever missed a bit of home this is it. If you relocated to Cbus from the East Coast this will take you home again. Amazing, perfect I can't wait to try more items

    Primavera stromboli

My first time ordering a stromboli from this restaurant. Not exactly what I expected. I think it would be better if all the ingredients (spinach, tomato, mushrooms) were cooked prior to putting inside the stromboli. There was alot of excess liquid, causing the bottom of the stromboli to be soggy. I also expected it to rolled in a spiral like a stromboli, this is folded over like a calzone.

More NY style pizza vs the Ohio type. Good Pizza but lacking spice of the Italian fare. Overall for my area I would buy again.

Food is pretty good. They make a pretty good pie. Bonus we can get it delivered to our house through one of the delivery services.

It's inside the AmVets building on west broad street. Don't need to be a member as long as you're coming in to eat. The prices are pretty good on the food. The prices are amazing from the bar since it's AmVets. The server was actually the wife of the owner, Tammy, so that was a nice treat. She gave us the low down on the place and all the unique sauces they have. All made in house. Great info. Great service. The wings are a nice size. Comparable to Roosters and that's sayin something because Roosters wings are bigger than any I've ever had. We got fries and onion rings to start. Both yummy. Another patio told is to get the wizard sauce. Apparently it's a wing sauce but he said it's best on the sides. It was delicious on the onion rings. The sauce list is very unique and very diverse. I went with a classic, garlic parm. It was good. I've always wanted to try Alabama White. It was very tasty. If you like the horseradish flavor. Our friend got the scorpion wings and the kit him on fire. He got sample taster of the hottest one that's not even on the menu. It was Major Pain. He said he tasted awful but wow was it hot lol. It was super thick like a tomato paste. Other friend got honey smacks. It was pretty good. Not super hot but had a tingle for sure. The mean mug was pretty tasty. My husband got the hot honey and said it wasn't really very hot. Asian sticky. That one was good. Not hot. The ranch was weird. Pretty sure it was a dill dip lol. Tastes and looks like the dill dip I make for veggies. We would definitely go back. Only reason I did 3 starts was cuz my husband didn't find a sauce he likes so we will just have to try more next time!

I was getting ready to leave a review and it says "update review" lol. Oops. Wings are still solid, the boneless are a Sisco or Costco standards but I had to try them. I'll definitely order the Pork rinds over fries. They came out hissing and popping like a plate of fajitas and were awesome. Dunking them in the hot garlic butter was a bonus, damn near spiritual experience. Wash it down with whatever IPA the bartender grabbed me and I'm in heaven. Run the BBQ Costco homeless wings thru the Hot Garlic butter and suddenly the game changes. Now I realize it's all about the sauce. Somebody create an "It's all about the sauce" t-shirt and I'm buying one. I swear these pork rinds are regenerating. Or I need to ask the bartender exactly what I'm drinking. Wrapping it up, I probably would skip the homeless wings. They remind me of the at home air fryer bottom dwellers. So stick to wing wings. OK I'm finished. And I still have a full plate of regenerating pork rinds.

And it worked out just fine. Maybe not as fun as with friends, but when I went at two in the afternoon, I was the only person there. Service was excellent. The place was not smoky except for right at my grill. Standard KBBQ set up. You can also do hot pot. I got a couple of kinds of bulgogi, garlic chicken, brisket, pineapple, etc. They have the usual offerings. I did try their Siji Signature pork belly. And it was pretty darn good. I think it had been marinated. They also do a garlic one. They have a sauce bar, and a few appetizer/accompaniment things. I saw something new to me, prickly ash oil I think it was called. I asked, and the waitress said it was peppery. And it is indeed, but also with the numbing Szechuan pepper. Definitely a little tingly. You can dip your food in it, or I assume people cook in it too. Good, but not good enough to try again. They have a bunch of other sauces. The meats were all decent portions, and were tender and flavorful. The fruits and veggies were fresh and flavorful. The cost even wasn't ridiculous. $19 I think for lunch. I was out of there with a tip and drink for less than $30. It's far out of my way, and it has the usual KBBQ drawback of awkward seating up against the table base. But I really enjoyed it. And I can't find anything significant to take a star away from it. So five stars, and I'd go back.

We chose to do both the Korean BBQ and Hot Pot since we had never tried Hot Pot before. We decided to check out the sauce bar, which had 5 recipes for sauce combinations on the wall. Unfortunately, when I tried to make one of the sauces there was no regular vinegar. When I asked a server she said "oh I'm not sure why that is on there, we don't have that" even though it was painted onto the wall. This was disappointing considering I had already started mixing the sauce together so I had to improvise. When we went back to the table all of the food we ordered was there and it was A LOT! The portions for Hot Pot were larger than the Korean BBQ portions. I wish they would have explained this in advance because my husband and I would have split some items or not ordered as much. For example I ordered cabbage and bok choy, but received about half of a small cabbage and an entire plate of bok choy. My husband wanted to try some new items, and was given 6 pieces of sausage, 10 imitation crab sticks, and 6 large lobster balls. We wished we could have ordered by piece or in smaller portions. The broths for the Hot Pot were tasty. My husband for the pork broth and I got the miso. Both were yummy and worked with the items we ordered. We enjoyed the brisket but the bulgogi was a little chewy. We would skip this next time. Overall, unless you're incredibly hungry or with a large group I would choose Korean BBQ or Hot Pot, but both was a lot for the two of us. We enjoyed the vibe and the large variety of items. We will definitely be back to try other items!
