    Hunan Bean Curd

Big portions. Even for the lunch sizes. That's what makes Dragon Inn as good as it is. It has some indoor seats. This is better for pickup or takeout. It was hard to find the first time here. It's in the Washington Center shopping center. The restaurant is located at the end around the corner of this. It didn't have many customers. This may have had to do with it being so hidden. I had the Hunan Bean Curd. This is about $8.50 for the only portion. It comes in only the big one. This is much spicier than most people are used to at Chinese restaurants It seems to be most popular for carryout. It's okay because the inside is bad. There's a grassy area to the east of the restaurant with lots of trees.

Kung bo chicken, Sichuan Beef, pork lo mein, fried wonton and steak on a stick...you know, the usual. Its always very tasty from the dragon. Was a bit busy tonight and still pretty quick.

Super fast, good quality quick Chinese food. Lots of choices. When doing pickup it's always a shorter time than quoted.

I've eaten their food several times and a few times it's made me sick afterwards. Prices are on the higher side as well.

Tommy and I were talking about this place after dinner. We both agreed this place is pretty solid and would stand shoulder to shoulder with any Chinese buffet in Columbus. For around $14 each, we both got plenty of that good, hot and satisfying Chinese food we both love. The place looked clean and the service was very nice and polite. Kudos for keeping up with removing our used plates promptly. We wouldn't hesitate to come back again. 5 stars And Here's Some More To Chew On: * Be sure to try the Shrimp and Vegetables, Breaded Shrimp, Teriyaki Chicken Skewers, Butter Chicken and Chicken and Broccoli. * The only weakness was the Hot and Sour Soup (bland and watery) and the Vegetable Lo Mein which looked to be made with spaghetti. They were not bad, just not all that good. ** If you ever dined at the Hong Kong Buffet in Columbus, this place is basically a smaller version of that restaurant. Same decor, same tables and chairs and very similar recipes are used. Same owners? Maybe...

When I walked in the atmosphere was great, I could smell good food and heard conversations. There's a large area with large round tables to right and to the left are booths and almost all of them were full. The menu was a mix of Americanized Chinese, traditional Chinese and included Dim Sum as well. There were a number of dishes we didn't know much about and there were dishes being enjoyed by other customers that looked delicious. The wait staff was more than happy to explain the dishes and/or show us on the menu what someone was eating. They took very good care of us and shared the tasks of bringing our food, filling water, and just checking in. Now the food. The food came out very quickly! We all received a well filled bowl of rice. First out was the string beans, perfectly cooked, not droopy, and the flavors of garlic and hot peppers. Even though the peppers were there the heat was not overpowering at all. Next was the shredded pork with garlic sauce. The textures of the pork and bamboo shoots were a nice contrast and the sauce was perfectly balanced and craveable. The special grilled lamb, I was told, was some of the best in the city. It was tender and well spiced. Even when he said he was full he just couldn't stop eating it. For the dim sum order we got the shrimp dumplings, soup dumplings, scallion pancake, and sesame balls and they brought a soy sauce and a chili oil with them. The shrimp dumplings were tender but the dough was pretty sticky. I think this is normal and they were tasty with some of the oil on them. The scallion pancakes were very thin and gummy, this is the only thing we ordered that I would not get again. The soup dumplings were very small but packed a lot of flavor. The dough did stick together a bit so unfortunately some of the soup did leak out. The sesame balls were the hit and we're just the right amount of sweetness that we considered them desert. They were large, at least 2" in size, with a wonderful sesame seed covered exterior and a soft, sweet center. Chuan Jiang Hao Zi is a wonderful somewhat hidden gem. If you want traditional Chinese cuisine including all the different offal they have it and I would totally try it here over anyone else if I was brave enough. Portions were a good size for the price. I highly recommend checking them out!

My favorite thing to get from there is a difficult choice between the veggies and fried rice, or just the plain fried rice. Their egg drop soup is good, especially if you're feeling under the weather. I absolutely adore eating the wonton soup. And the egg rolls and spring rolls are definitely something to try for the books. And did I mention that they have fortune cookies? Delicious decadence at its damned finest. When you do go to try Ming Moon, please, take time to understand the menu and the ingredients in each dish. I swear they make their food with passion. But, if you do not take into consideration what ingredients are in a dish/item, and you proceed to get mad at the employees/restaurant for not living up to your expectations/standards, then that solely falls on you as the customer/guest for not taking the time to look at the menu/ingredients and ask questions if you have concerns or are curious. The staff/employees are so sweet. And very efficient when it comes to their food/work. Very clean restaurant as well. What a lovely restaurant and what lovely people who run this restaurant. Don't forget to give yourselves rest, TLC, stay hydrated, and take it easy! I hope/pray that Ming Moon stays around for many, many, many years. We'll definitely be back in the future! Blessings to you and yours to everyone at Ming Moon! Take care!

The gentleman asked if we had reservations. We did not. He simply said, "Then we'll have three more guests for the evening" or something along those lines. He was very kind. Before our friend arrived, a woman stopped by to welcome us. Top notch service so far! The ambiance is beautiful. The lighted tree and decor behind us was a lot, but it felt tasteful. Jack, our server, stopped by to get us water. When our friend arrived we had a lot to talk about. Jack stopped by several times and was very chill about us taking our time. He said he didn't mind if we still weren't ready and he'd return to check on us as often as necessary. Again, kindness and patience abound at Oriental Wok. The Ma La Dumplings were absolutely delicious. The filling was delicious and the spice level, which we knew would be spicy, was perfect. Truly a wonderful bite. I had Five-Spice Tofu. The tofu was crispy as advertised and the greens were in a very light and delectable sauce. Green onions were sprinkled with the greens. I feel sometimes greens like these are an afterthought at many restaurants. At Oriental Wok they were as much a star as the crispy tofu. Mark had Orange Chicken and thoroughly enjoyed it. He mentioned the orange flavor was perfect. Either Jack asked if we wanted dessert and I missed it or he didn't ask. Our friend thought maybe he did and she said no, but she couldn't be sure. I just remember him stopping by to ask if we needed boxes. Anyway, next thing I knew we had our checks. I really wanted dessert, but I took it as a sign it was time for us to wrap up. I'm absolutely certain he would have been more than happy to bring us some dessert and update our checks, so going without was on me and that's cool. I think it's safe to say we will be back!

He (a different guy) said that his colleague got it wrong & I would need to buy a veggie lo mein on the side. He said that he couldn't do the combo & add veggies to the lo mein. His colleague got it wrong because the boss wasn't there & when she got back she saw how he rang it up & to call me & tell me they couldn't do that. I would have to buy the sweet & sour pork & veggie lo mein separately @ $22+. Now, for $4 you gave up $18! I have never been called back by a restaurant due to a mistake they made for charging me wrong. MOST businesses, who want to gain & maintain customers would've sucked it up & corrected their employee! NOT call the customer for their $4 mistake!!! I will never order from this establishment. Their customer service is diabolical.
