The food here is pretty good. There is a variety of dishes but the overall quality used to be better a few years ago. The waiters were very nice. The service wasn't the very best and you might have to ask for something more than once to actually get one. The atmosphere was very casual. The seating areas were pretty clean. My only complaints are that the prices aren't the most friendly and depending on the time of day, the food might be a bit stale. Overall, the food was good tasting and a quality product. I've seen other reviews taking about cold food. I'm not sure what that was all about, as all my food that was supposed to be hot was. Tons of steam rolling up from the tables. The ambiance was good, too. I did think the spare ribs were just okay. The meat was a little bland. The outside of the business could really use some TLC. Especially to the rear. It's not so inviting if just driving by. Fortunately, the food made up for it. Now for the price. I would suggest eating in. Dinner was $15.75. Not a horrible price, but it's a bit pricier than fast food Chinese if you are looking to eat cheap. If you get the take out price, it may seem a little cheaper, but you are paying by the pound. I saw one customer who came up with his Styrofoam container, and it cost him over $15.00 because of the weight. And that's only one serving. I went back for three plate fulls. Got my money's worth. They may or may not fill your drink after the first time being dropped at the table but other than that the place is clean which is something you can't Keats say with some of these type places. So I'm the first to review this place in quite some time. I'm generally not a buffet person but a lot of the locals insist I try it. It is one of the best Asian buffets I've been too. I give it extremely high scores on cleanliness. Let me also say the inside it 10x nicer than the outside. There are many different options at this place you won't find at other Asian buffets. I didn't want to over eat myself to death (like I would normally do at buffets) so I sample small portions of lots of different things. The bang bang shrimp was my favorite followed by the pepper chicken. They also have several different sushi options (I know what your thinking) but the sushi is freshly made right in front of you. A fresh salad bar is also featured here, with lots to from. Wilmington in general suffers from lack of unique and delicious food options. Solid buffet. Came here while in the area for work. Lunch buffet is CHEAP! $7 bucks! Lots of choices, includes hibachi, all the food was hot and fresh. I would definitely go back. The only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 is because everyone was seated together while there was an entire other half of the restaurant empty. The change in ownership/management in January 2015 has also changed the quality of the food, not as good as it used to be, obviously new chef/cooks and not for the better. It's not the big city that's for sure. I don't mean anything snarky by that. I am just stating the fact that sets the tone for expectation. I had a decent meal. I ate all I wanted to. I was with my new wife near the end of a great trip back to her home country to visit. So I was predisposed to forgive any lapses. It's the midwest- not a hot spot for ethnic cusines. I am sure (because of clientel) that the cooks here have toned it down, toned it way down. The food was decently prepared but bland. None of those flavors you expect (even from the Americanized versions) in Chinese buffet food were present. It served its purpose. We were hungry, had had a long day and wanted to eat without waiting for an order to get put together. I can give them the benefit of the doubt and guess that in the middle of a busy lunch rush day the food might be hotter/better. As it was we were there on a late Tuesday evening (after 1800). It wasn't very crowded, some of the dishes had been sitting a while, didn't have much in the pan. The place is also a little "worn". It could use a re-fresh, some paint, some spruced up decorations etc. I wouldn't drive to Ohio to eat here. I would however, go again when we are back in town, I would stick to the busy hours though. read more

We haven't been here in a year or more and I was hesitant to go at 3:00 pm on Friday because I thought the food might not be fresh. Well, surprise! Everything was fresh, food looked good, the buffet tables were clean, and it was soooo good! We especially loved the baked crab, egg drop soup, general tao chicken, bang bang shrimp, and the fish. Passing through town and looking for someplace to have dinner. From the look of the exterior I almost didn't stop. Stepping inside was like going to a completely different place. Modern, clean, super nice staff and the food was very fresh. I enjoyed most everything I tried. The sushi was very good and the salt and pepper calamari was fantastic. This is one of the CLEANEST, most prepared buffets I've been to! We aren't local or we'd be here often. Lunch on a Sunday for 2 adults and a child was under $20. I'm not sure why this place has $$ when that is very reasonably priced. Their sushi is so fresh and good! I'm pregnant and was able to have a nice array of veggie rolls, which I was SO thankful for. That was worth it in itself. The staff was friendly and on top of it! They cleared our plates and filled our cups quickly, and the food trays were hot and quickly replaced as they got low. I was actually very impressed by how perfect the food temperatures were. This place was busy and that is a testament to the service and food! The absolute best Chinese place in the county! This buffet has pretty much darn near everything. rows upon rows of different traditional chinese dishes, american food, seafood, sushi, salads, desserts, roast, you name it! They also have awesome Saki! Everyone there is incredibly nice and you'll have a refill before you're half way done with your drink. They are totally on top of things. They also have take out if you'd like. There's plenty of TV's with different games, and news on if thats your thing as well. My husband and I have been going to this Restraunt for 5 years and although we had not been in Almost a year we were very disappointed with the food and the condition they kept every thing as far as the food is concerned. It was all poor quality and not kept very well not changed often and just disgusting all the way around . I have *no* idea how the rating is so high. The buffet is half deep fried Mexican food, quarter salad bar, quarter Chinese. The Chinese food is limited and basics are not present; no dumblings, no seasame, honey, or orange chicken. The fried foods (eggs rolls) were either so hard they can't be eaten or super soggy. There is sushi on the buffet with a lid on it for an extra charge from 2-4pm.... so this sushi will be sitting here until dinner? Who knows when it was made. I always enjoyed going here. The variety of Asian and American fare is pretty good, and they have some things I haven't seen on other Chinese Buffets before. I was surprised to see that some people on Yelp are complaining about it being dirty, cause I have NEVER noticed that.
