I did not even order the food. I walked in and the lady behind the counter had her back to me fixing her teeth. She had rubber gloves on while doing this and I asked her to please change the gloves for health reasons. She got agitated and asked if I was ready to order. At no point did she change her gloves and when I chose not to order she went back to the kitchen and began cooking. Absolutely disgusting will never eat there again!! I wonder how many people she got sick by cooking with dirty gloves that were in her mouth, and touching cash. read more

The lunch and dinner buffets are one of the best in the Greater Cincinnati area. The employees continually keep fresh, hot and full trays on the warming table. The selection is one that has something for everyone. The desserts are plentiful. There is also fresh dipped ice cream. Plenty of seating. There only four booths. The other seating is 4 top tables. Parking is plentiful. This nice Chinese Restaurant is located in a strip shopping center. Last of all the ladies restroom was very clean. If you have a hankering for some good Chinese food and in the Hillsboro area dine here!!! The prices are very reasonable. You will not be disappointed. read more

If this is number one then I don't even want to go to number two lol The food was not good. Everything tasted rubbery, slimy, and fake. I had chicken and yet I got the overwhelming taste of fish with multiple bites. I don't like fish so I about launched that back onto the plate. I eventually gave up and went for desert. No ice cream cones so I threw a few scoops onto a dinner plate. All but a fresh tub of mint chocolate chip was freezer burnt. The staff was pretty on top of collecting plates and refilling drinks. But at $11 a piece for the limited food they had, I don't think it's worth it. And last but not least, possibly one of the most important issues... the sweet tea, was not sweet.... read more

Very dirty inside. Trouble getting in door with a bunch of boxes stacked up inside of door. Inside lobby was dirty on floor. Ordered at 10:30am when they opened. Ordered (2) sweet sour chicken. (1) broccoli garlic sauce and (1) teriyaki chicken on skewers. Total was 34.00. Food was a lot smaller portions than before, did taste good, but this is not as clean as it use to be nor the size is as large as it was a year ago. Qualifier: I just can't bring myself to apply NYC or SF standards to a place in a town in the midwest of about 10k people. For these factors, this is a very reasonable approximation of small town Chinese buffet. A friend took me here for lunch. $17 for two, all you can eat but who can eat that much? In august they had great fruit and dessert choices and everything I ate was fresh and tasty. I would go again. They had a very good, large selection of choices which I appreciate since I'm not supposed to eat all the batter fried stuff you see so often on these buffets. read more

Ate here Saturday April 6, 2019 at 6pm We experienced excellent service from the wait staff and hibachi chef. The food was average tasting and pretty fresh- a few cold and chewy items. I can't say that there was anything special that would draw me back there. A little pricey at $12 per person. read more

Much to be desired here in Hillsboro as far as Chinese food. We buy it because there is no other close in town. We have ordered there at least 100 times in 8 years and its always Ok but today the Sweet & Sour Chicken, the little fried chicken pieces were hard as a rock. Also we always tell them we want only Fried Rice which we get with our To-Go lunch meals but they also include a paper box of White Rice? I wonder are we charged for this, as we never get an itemized receipt, guess we could ask for one but communication isnt always fun either. I've lived here and the Cincinnati area for over 60 years and the best tasting Chinese Food from Michigan to New York to Ohio IS Peking Garden on Galbraith Road in Deer Park. SO flavorful, piping hot and always always fresh. Egg Rolls and Crab Rangoon to die for! Maybe they can call them up and get some pointers? read more

I have been to several Chinese resturants in 4 different states and this one is at the bottom of the list. Fish was cold lo mein was over done as was the potatoes. Fish tasted like chicken tenders you get from the store. Price was 9.50 wirh water to drink. Way over priced for the offering. Will not be back read more

I used to work in Hillsboro (2010) and ate here every week. Back then, this was one of the best restaurants in town by far. Unfortunately, the quality and taste have plummeted. I occasionally travel through town and 6 weeks ago ordered takeout in the evening. Chicken Lo Mein, Fried wanton and Crab Rangoon. The lo mein was alright, but had no vegetables just chicken and noodles. The wanton was tough and chewy, not crisp and had cooking oil inside the wrappers. The crab Rangoon was also tough and chewy but the filling was excellent. Because I have had so many great meals here, I decided to wait until I could give it another chance before my review. Today I ordered a lunch special, General Tso's chicken with Fried rice. The chicken looked mushy and dull. The color was a pink-orange. Not like it used to be -- orangish brown. I tried a few pieces and they were soft, squishy and chewy. This was an unexpected and fairly unpleasant sensation. The flavor was extremely sweet but not spicy at all. I never got a bite of actual chicken meat, so I began cutting open each piece as I pulled it from the tray. It mostly consisted of skin and trimmings that were breaded and fried, but not crispy. The pink-orange color went all the way through each piece like it had been stewed in the sauce and not just coated. I would guess the sauce was like an apricot or plum sauce, but mostly sweet, not much flavor and definitely no spice. Needless to say, I stopped eating the chicken. The Fried rice was very bland. White rice would have had as much flavor. I could see onions, carrotsa and peas, but the flavor was all the same. I am so disappointed in #1 China. Very disappointing. We had to pay before we even got to sit down, a young boy took our money and sat down to play on his phone, not even bothering to show us a seat or ask what we wanted to drink. The guy in the dining area didn't speak english and neither did the woman. For a small town Chinese place, it's pretty good food! Chinese food is my absolute favorite, so I'm a bit of a snob when it comes to these restaurants. I can honestly say this place is by far the best Chinese buffet I've ever eaten. There was only one time that the food was definitely not fresh when we got there, but it was later in the evening, so I wasn't surprised really. They did, however, bring out some small portions of fresh products. It's better than none at all, am I right? We usually eat here a lot and it's good I think. We went their for dinner last night it was 12.99 per person. All I really wanted was the crab legs for dinner. We had to wait a while for them to bring them out. I ate other things on the buffet and it was ok not real fresh. Finally they brought crab legs out and the lady had done gave us our cookies and never came back we hadn't even been their 30 minutes. She took my daughters plate away from her and she was still eating. We left and headed home and I felt sick I mean vomiting sick. I am pretty sure I got food poisoning because I was up all night long with it and still can't eat at all today. I will not be back for the fact of the poisoning and the food was not fresh.
