When asked, the dealer didn't include the money taken out for the high hand etc. The point is 8.00 taken out of the pot in a 1/2 game is an unbeatable game. The ONLY one to profit is the business. It may seem like you are able to win but in the long run, the money goes around the table until it ends up in the house's pocket. Most recreational players are unaware and are content to be shafted. In Texas, there is a time rake which amounts to about 5.00. HUGE difference to your win rate. You may feel it's the only game in town, so you don't have a choice. The restaurant/bar at Dragon Tiger Casino is amazing--what a little hidden secret! If it's 10pm and you're craving delicious food that's not just fast food, this is the place to be. We ordered the salt and pepper chicken wings, honey shrimp walnut, spaghetti and meatballs, and Mongolian beef. Everything was really good, but the Mongolian beef was exceptional--high-quality, just like you'd get at a top Chinese restaurant. In addition to their fantastic Asian cuisine, they also offer American dishes like burgers, grilled salmon, and chicken Alfredo. The restaurant was very clean, and there was ample parking available. It's crazy how popular this poker room has become. Most of the dealers are very good at their job and personable. Food is hit and miss but the ones that are good are really good! Salt and pepper chicken, Cobb salad, and steak are always good and filling. House fried rice is also good and the portion is huge. If you're playing poker you get 50% off food. Drinks are ok. A little pricey for the establishment. Casinos have cheaper drinks. And depending on the bartender drinks can vary wildly. The drinks either need to be better or the prices need to come down a little. Service is a little chaotic but they do their best to get food and drinks to the poker tables. In short this place is great for poker and food if you're playing poker. Drinks not so much for the price. read more

They never seem to have more than 2 servers on at a time, even when the place is packed. If you want something, you always have to try to flag down a server. Had dinner there tonight. I now understand why we were the only two in the restaurant. The teriaky was nothing like teriaky. Lots of breaded chicken breast with mushy breading. My cheeseburger and fries were more than disappointing. You get a much better burger at Burger King and I only ate a couple of fries as they tasted like they were fried in cooking oil that was half rancid. The starter sauce was good. To bad I couldn't eat it all because of the fries. read more

I was visiting my son in Seattle and my husband wanted to play poker. My son took us to Aces. The service was great! The service from the bartender Melany was excellent. We ordered the nachos, they weren't very good. Does not matter though. I didn't come for the nachos. I'll take great service over nachos anytime. I will be back! read more

I usually end up at this place when the money is tight and I still want to meet with a few friends. I've stopped in here quite a few times over the last few years and was surprised to see that there wasn't a review up for it yet. It's right off of Hwy 99 so you'll find some hoodlums there from time to time, but for the most part it's the die hard gamblers, or small groups of people that are out for a low key fun night. It's a fairly new place so everything is updated and new. It's not old and stale like most of the Aurora casinos. The staff are all really nice. I still have not gambled there yet so I'm not sure how the dealers are. Happy hour drinks are excellent! All top shelf liquor and stiff. Crown Royal and Coke, Captain Morgans and coke, and others all for only $3.50. You can't get much better than that. They have these breakfast plates that come with a meat of choice, eggs, and hash browns. You can order 24/7 for only $3.99. What a treat after a hard night of drinking. There are a couple of pool tables upstairs where I tend to spend most of my time. There is a patio and balcony for smoking. The patio usually has heaters out to keep you warm. Downstairs in another area away from the main gambling floor there is another little lounge area that is a little more cozy and sleek. You can order food in here too and there are booths to sit in. The menu is a little more expensive in here but the food is delicious. I've gotten the honey walnut prawns and they were probably the best I've ever had. You can order off the bar menu too in here. Floor man Christopher has a serious attitude problem. On 4th of July 8pm place is empty: one 1-3 Holden, one PLO table. They started second 1-3 table 6 handed, after 15 min one person leaves, Game is ready to die. I took my chips and move to PLO table with open sit. Chris run to me: "you cannot move there without my permission...". I said ok, I will move back to 1-3 and I want to move to PLO. His replay: "Now you have to stay on 1-3 for 30min, because I said so" I recently was playing here 4-5 days a week. I think they don't care about business, if they hire this out of touch kid as a floor. When asked about manager contact I was told: You can come back when manager is working... I came here because the restaurant was called 'Macau Grill'. I don't gamble much but I was hungry and thought maybe there was some some Macau dishes to be had. Didn't see anything particularly Macanese. Menu ran the gambit of basic Chinese american stuff (General Tso's chicken, salt and pepper wings, etc..,) American bar food and Cantonese food. I avoided the happy hour menu which did not look very interesting. The Cantonese food I did get was shockingly better and more authentic than what I expected. -crab and fish maw soup- you don't see this much on menus because westerners don't usually like fish maw which is the swim bladder of a fish. Sound appetizing!? Its comfort food so I usually order it. Not a bad rendition here. -salt and pepper fish- nice and salty, good spice, fresh! -greens beans with garlic sauce- tasty!~ The server was very nice as was all the staff I interacted with. The ambience is what you would expect from a casino up on Aurora of maybe a way off strip place in Reno. A bit nicer than the casino in the Patrick Swaze classic "Road House". The other kicker is their hours. They stop full menu service at 330 am so late night owls take notice! Can't speak for the other items on the menu like the burgers or the breakfast items which they also serve around the clock or the stuff on the happy hour menu or any of the drinks. The Macau grill which is in the Red Dragon Casino has great happy hour food. I know I say that most Happy hour places are good but they have a good range of Asian style and American salt & pepper fried chicken. Also the drinks are a good deal to. Plus it's everyday from 4-7:30 & 10-1:30am Its pretty nice to come here when you have the late munchies and the people are very nice here. Its not really something I would go to all the time but for a few drinks and a food, especially late at night.... instead of Applebee's or Jack-n-box, I would go here to hangout depending on my mood since its not to far. read more

Love the poker tournaments here for 2 reasons: 1st, they have the most starting chip amount in the entire northwest WA. $10,000 chips for $45 buyin (10:00 AM and 12:00 PA). $2000 chips for $75 (7:00 PM). 2nd, they have the best designed tournaments schedules. There is one at 10:00 AM, another at noon 12:00 PM, and final one at 5:00 PM or 7:00 PM. Two suggestions: One suggestion is to hold the tournaments at upstairs and have all cash games run downstairs. We just celebrated our daughters 21st birthday at Red Dragon. I was told that I didn't need reservations. Walked in, seemed pretty crowded and our initial bartender seemed pretty green. They've got a great mix of Chinese, Breakfast, and American Grill items to choose from. My go to is the Chicken Fried Steak as my breakfast option, and the salt and pepper wings as my Chinese choice! If you're really hungry go for their "Dragon Teaser". All the fried Chines appetizers you need. They've got a variety of drink specials, but I personally go with a beer, or a straight whiskey. Entire staff is pretty friendly and are always down for a chat if they are sitting on a "dead" table. Happy hour is really good here. Food and drink specials all night, every night. Solid food with quite a few options as far as I can tell, very friendly service staff. Had an unfortunate experience with a poker dealer last night (but that is admittedly not a common thing). They made it a point to keep verbally escalating a disagreement with another player until the floor overheard and kicked that player out. While I don't think dealers should have to tolerate abuse from drunk customers or anything like that, it sort of blew my mind that the dealer was the one taking verbal shots at the player and the customer was asked to leave instead of just swapping out dealers or something, maybe they had previous issues, I'm not sure. I have spent thousands at this location and after about a 2 year hiatus I came back. I found out they do only poker games, okay I thought that would be fun. Untill... I clearly said ALL IN on my cards and the dealer took my cards away..I said wait a minute.I called ALL IN!! He called the pit boss over...pit boss said you didn't protect your cards so the dealer didn't know....I already said all in and pushed my chips forward....So they stole my chips, didn't reset the hand, and said I lost and my chips are now property of the owner...THEY ROBBED ME OFF MY CHIPS!!! I have hired an attorney and if you feel like I do please email me and we may make it a class action lawsuit. Major downside is the food service, the menu is seriously lacking vegetarian/healthy options and they dont allow outside food so i always have to leave, eat and then come back to play. I used to love the Red Dragon and spend a lot of time there. Recently however, I have been very disappointed in the way The Red Dragon (or Maverick, the new owner) has chosen to force transfer some of its servers away to other properties. In my opinion, Maverick's rules about not allowing certain people to work together are ridiculous, not uniformly enforced and prone to abuse. I may not know every aspect, but apparently the policy calls for the transfer of one of two employees if those two employees are related, or in a relationship, or have ever been in a relationship, even if that relationship was "discovered" after months or years of incident free work. While we as customers do not know every reason for an employer's decisions, the Red Dragon's decisions have led to several of its best servers being forced to leave without regard for the hardship it causes that employee or the impact on customer service. Regardless of the reason, both the servers and customers suffer as a result. There are still a lot of great people at the Red Dragon (a few less now...) and a lot of good poker. Still, watching the impact of this policy on employees has been difficult and not something I want to support. As a customer, my only recourse is to write this review and withhold my business. While I know one customer will likely not force a policy change, I hope other customers will also leave reviews and let Maverick know that this policy is simply a terrible idea. read more

OMG where has this place been all my life? The happy hour deals at the restaurant are incredible. $3.50 martinis and half off all appetizers from 4-7:30pm and 10pm-1:30am. There are other drink details that I can't remember because I spend my night downing delicious Seahawk Martinis! Soooo good. The portions of food are huge! I had edamame and mahi mahi and it was a ton of food. My friends had nachos and the sampler platter and they were both GIGANTIC and delicious. My boyfriend got breakfast for $3.99 - talk about a good deal! Our waitress was prompt and checked in on us often. She happily split our tabs as well, which was much appreciated. Solid place, great happy hour (until 7:30pm & then late night starts at 10pm). The new sports bar on the top level is RAD. Tons of TVs, great space, upstairs balcony for smoking/extra seating. It's amazing because the sports bar just opened but already the service is great! Stefany was our server & was very friendly & helpful but the bartenders came to check in on us too. Everyone really wanted to know if we had any ideas to help the place out. We stumbled into Trivia night (wednesdays) which looked really fun!! They do all day breakfast, we opted for that & wish I would've tried their appetizers instead. The appetizers & everything else looked really good at all the other tables. Their wing menu looked amazing! I love Salt & Pepper dishes - yum!! The eggs on one plate were slightly undercooked & the hollandaise on the eggs benedict was pretty terrible (i think it's a gravy-mix based??) & came w/ about 2 cups too much. How good could the food really be at a casino? In Mountlake Terrace? On Highway 99? A stone's throw away from a couple seedy motels? Actually, pretty darn good! And the place is clean, the service is great, and there's a fireplace in the bar! My friends who live in Edmonds have sung the praises of Red Dragon for years, but I never believed them. The thought of eating casino food seemed like too much of a gastrointestinal gamble (ha!). But after getting off a ferry up north with a rumbling tummy, I finally gave it a chance. Red Dragon's HH confounded and astounded me. Everything I ordered (salt & pepper wings, bbq pork, edamame) was surprisingly delicious. The wings were crispy, tasty, and well seasoned; the pork was lean and moist; and the edamame tasted exactly like edamame should taste! I think my pint of Bud light was only $2. And everything on the food menu was half off. Let's be clear: I will not go out of my way to return, but if I'm ever in the 'hood again, I won't put up my usual fight. RD is no foodie destination, but for what it is and where it's located, I give it a solid 3 stars. read more

A very aesthetically appealing casino that is cleaner than most which is a huge plus. The food is pretty good and the drinks are poured well even though being kinda expensive for a casino. The parking here is not good on a busy night and is always a constant chore because their overflow lot is up the street a few blocks. They have pool tables upstairs which are fun and a nice deck when the weather is warm. This casino by far is the nicest in the immediate area. read more

We recently worked with Red Dragon Casino to organise and host our 10 year High School Reunion. Amanda Lane was our point of contact from the very beginning. Amanda did an excellent job communicating with myself and my counterpart, she was very knowledgeable and provided us with great options to make our event the best possible within our budget. The Red Dragon Casino offers an excellent space above the casino floor that provides a full bar, lounge area, pool table, separate his and her restrooms, as well as a patio balcony. This was a great space separate from the public that had plenty of room for our group. We had two main points of contacts day of, Nicole whom I believe is the Food and Beverage Manger on site, and Zach our bartender. Nicole and Zach did a wonderful job accommodating such a large group primarily on their own, making tons of drinks and managing the appetisers we ordered. Overall, we were very happy with how our event turned out. Red Dragon Casino was extremely accommodating, I would highly recommend then for future events. I've only been in for their HH at Macau grill. They have a decent happy hour menu, although I didn't have the food, the menu looked great! It's mainly Asian food on their HH, the price range is from $5.99-9.99. Drinks are CHEAP, $2 wells, $5 patron shots, $3 fireballs, $3.50 specialty drinks. Clearly, you see why I was there ;) The bartender was a bit spacey but other than that everything was legit. I'll be back to try the food for sure. NON-HAPPY HOUR REVIEW Despite the concerned whispers of my inner voice, my wife and I decided to try the Macau Grill for our Friday night date night. We are easy-going diners, like to try new things and the Macau Grill was close. We were also a bit intrigued that this casino restaurant had a 4-star rating on 29 votes on Yelp. Wow! Could it actually be good? The idea of finding a dive-y lounge-y local place for good cheap eats sounded embarrassingly fun. We arrived around 8:45PM on Friday. After a brief tutorial on the casino from the host, we moved into the Macau Grill - which is really more bar than restaurant. From that point on, everything is about what you would expect from a Casino bar. A lot of old white and Asian folks gambling, along with the occasional scruffy-looking, shifty-eyed guy. If this were pre-smoking ban about 10 years ago, I am sure there would have been a cloud of cigarette smoke limiting visibility to about 20 feet. My wife and I were promptly escorted to our seats and the first question we asked each other was regarding the interesting smell by the doorway. We looked around. A lot of red décor, lounge-y. Chips in some of the furniture. The question running through my mind was how this place fares on the health inspections? Not because of anything in particular, other than the feel of the place (and perhaps that smell). Being adventurous, my wife and I decided to see it through to the end. Because we were in a gambling establishment we also made bets on the likelihood that we would spend time in the bathroom due to gastrointestinal distress. I said 70% likely, my wife said 100% likely. The bets were made, now to order. I ordered the slow roasted prime-rib special. It was mediocre at best. About what you would expect from ordering steak at any low-end diner. My wife ordered the stir-fried fish with salt and pepper. It was spicy. She thought it was ok, even good. I thought it tasted foul. Given the quality of the food and the environment, it was fairly expensive (because it wasn't happy hour) - about $40 for our two meals and my beer. To be fair... - We knew this was a dicey proposition - I ordered steak. I should have ordered pan-Asian something (some other diners had Asian food and it looked pretty good) - The waitress was friendly - We had NO gastro-intestinal distress! We were both surprised and relieved! - I would meet my buddies here for drinks at happy hour. That's about it. Summary This place is exactly what it appears to be: A casino dive bar with a long happy hour (actually 2 happy hours). The yelp reviews giving it any more credit than that are overstated. My boyfriend suggested we go here after a failed attempt at making it to Azteca's happy hour. I'm glad we decided to go here because the restaurant/lounge is fantastic and the happy hour deals can't be beat. Happy hour is from 4-7:30 and 10-1:30 and appetizers and fancy drinks are half-off and there's a discount on drafts too. We split the nachos and the quesadilla and it was more than enough food for the two of us. The can make a good margarita, but the Seahawk-tini is where it's at. I'm telling you - so good! The bartender was very friendly and we got good service. I will definitely be back here again because the food is good, drinks are excellent, and the price is right. Came here for a business lunch. Very unimpressed. It took the waitress too long to provide the menus and, to be quite honest, she seemed very annoyed that there were customers she needed to take care of. Asked for guacamole and they don't have any. Found out they have avocados but she never offered it as an alternative option. Food was brought out to all in my party with the exception of myself, though a Taco Salad isn't that hard to make. Had to wait an additional 5 minutes for mine. Taco shell was practically burned. The waitress failed to ever check on us, though my companions ran out of water. A couple came in after us and ended up having to leave their table to get menus because they waitress failed for about 10 minutes to give it to them. Food is way over priced for the low quality. I would say each dish is probably overpriced by about $5/plate. My taco salad alone was $14 and I had to pay extra for avocado. If I were to say anything positive about the food is they are decent sized portions. I will not be returning. read more
