Our dog died here July 5th, 2025. I can't give a rating on…read morehow they treated our dog because he didn't live through the weekend that we left him in their care, but I will write a review on how they handled the situation after. We got a call Saturday July 5th, 2025, around 9am that our dog had died an HOUR earlier. We rushed over to the facility and David Torres, who I assume is the owner or lead trainer, told us that our Frenchie had breathing complications and died. Not in the heat but in the air-conditioned area that they kept the dogs in. It made no sense to me because our dog would sleep with us every night in an AC controlled room. I asked to see the security footage because I wanted to rule out negligence on their part. David told me he would get the footage and asked if I could return later. I told him I wouldn't leave until I saw it with my own eyes. After a few hours David came back and said he needed to wait for their IT tech to return to retrieve any footage. My wife and I were furious and didn't know what to do since we were staying in town for the holiday weekend. David then offered to have our dog cremated locally but we refused. He also insisted and provided a WRITTEN PROMISE to provide us with ANY puppy we wanted. At the moment we didn't want to hear anything about another dog. We went to the store to buy a cooler and placed our Frenchie inside and started a 5-hour drive back home in silence. We were able to get him cremated locally by our home and David said he would take care of the bill. We paid out of pocket and sent David the receipt. David then promised he would mail out a check, but after almost 3 weeks nothing came. We had to reach out again, and a check finally arrived a few days later. After a few weeks of back and forth, David sent a message that EVERY camera that covered the area where our dog was staying had malfunctioned and had no footage of the incident AT ALL. It became extremely difficult to believe that no negligence had occurred after this... Back in December 2025 my wife and I were still feeling the emptiness in our home. We had gotten our Frenchie shortly after getting married. Since we have no children, our dog filled that void at times. I spoke to my wife about getting another dog and I remembered the written promise David made. I reached out to David and let him know what my wife and I wanted to get a puppy to be a family of three once again. He confirmed he received our request and we let him know we wanted an Australian Shepherd. Weeks went by and there were never any solid leads. He offered us an Australian Cattle Dog but I didn't want to accept that only because it was convenient. If we were going to get another dog, we wanted to be able to choose him, not have it forced on us. This is where things became very frustrating. For almost 5 weeks there was no response from David. Not only until I cc'd the support email did I get a response from David a few days later. He casually brought up that he had been in Texas for a month. I understand that for a business owner, something that happened months ago may not be a priority, but for my wife and I, it's something we get reminded of every day when we see our dog's toys in the laundry room. David then confirmed that they would most likely not be able to find us a dog and offered us $500 as an alternative. My wife and I were so tired of dragging this on that we agreed to the $500 so we could save up and get our own dog. David asked for my home address, which he would have had from the cremation check, and confirmed he would mail out a check via FedEx or UPS. Here we are 2 WEEKS LATER still with NO UPDATE from David or the support email. If you have a good relationship with this facility great. But if you're in town and looking for a place to entrust your pets consider another facility. The way David handled this situation was beyond unprofessional. I was hesitant to write this review because I wanted to give David the benefit of the doubt, but I guess it doesn't really matter to him. If anyone from the team responds to this review before the list of unanswered emailed it would just further my point of unprofessionalism.

Tammi and Bryan Thompson EPIC CON ARTIST!…read more If I could have put zero stars I would. Google Tammi and Bryan Thompson. They have switched dog businesses many times and now have a NONPROFIT for Veterans called Shaw's Veterans Ranch or H.M. Shaw's Transition Facility. I am writing the review here because 1)Their nonprofit is not listed on yelp 2)Their Dog business now named ;Igy6 (Whoodle.world) is connected to the nonprofit & 3) I put a review on their Facebook which they immediately disabled to ensure it wouldn't be seen. I am a retired, disabled veteran and have many accolades and experience in management and social work. I love working for nonprofits and have always given back. I volunteered at their nonprofit for 8 months full time after quitting a paying job on the pretense that I would be helping Veterans and she (Tammi) would one day put in grants to get the team (and me) paid a salary. Tammi asked me to be the face of the ranch because I was a veteran and loved speaking, she asked me to be her assistant executive director, and on the board of directors. I agreed, because I believed in the mission to help my fellow brothers and sisters. Now during this time, I informed this CEO (Tammi) and her husband Bryan (Secretary and CEO) that it was vital to have the executive leadership conduct training and be on the same page. To have meetings, go over financials etc.... pretty simple stuff right?!? I even paid out of pocket for training, and multiple things because to me it was extremely IMPORTANT. Along the first few months, Tammi mentioned multiple times that she was taking classes to stay in compliance with the 501(c)3 (I have this in texts) as well as paying 501 fees (also in texts). Now I didn't know any better but assumed she was handling the business side... while I networked... raised A LOT of money... promoted the business, did research, gathered sponsors, gathered donations, went and spoke to clients, did case management, coordinated care (list goes on). Later I found out 501(c)3's do not have ongoing fees and/or courses to stay in compliance (just one of the many lies). After a large fundraiser and many times of pushing the CEO (Tammi) for vital business information, and where the money went... I got kickback. I also got slowly pushed out of the office and told to stay home. I also was not told of what was going on with plans. The lying, and red flags kept stacking. Fast forward to today. Why am I writing this? Because I was never shown financials, never included like a BOD should be and when asked about these items... she told me I had no right, it was her nonprofit and not mine. Where did $11k go?! Nothing of importance was accomplished for the mission?! She bought some paint for a wall, food for volunteers, some fruit trees, and a few tools for the greenhouse. But that is not $11k. I never saw anything bought specifically for veterans, or the mission.... only donations & items were bought for their Ranch (where veterans cannot get to) and for her own home because she lives on the Ranch itself. I never saw one dog from her ;Igy6 business go to a veteran (which she states 1 out of each litter will go). Not ONE in 8 months!!! Now she could prove me wrong, show the financials and manage the business properly but instead she threw a fit... and acted shady. Then when I posted the review on her Facebook, same thing. (See pictures) She immediately shuts down the Facebook page. Is this why she has so many dog business pages?!? I don't recommend ever giving these people money... because what I saw in 8 months was that the 11k PLUS AND what they make on dogs ($1,200 to $2,500 per dog) goes to their home, maybe a new RV, random organic food for the dogs/chickens, misters for the dogs & chickens, an awning for the dogs, decorating their yard, 3 dog runs, eating out daily, and who knows what else. Could I be wrong? Absolutely... but there are a lot of holes. Too many to put here. Unless I'm missing something, which I hope I am.... there are some serious disconnects. I would challenge you to ask for their financials before donating a dime to their nonprofit or buying a dog from them!! Challenge them... make them earn it. Because from what I've seen, ANYONE who challenges them... gets blocked, and dropped at a dime. Tooooo shady!

The staff does an incredible job caring for and watching over our dogs--they truly take pride in what they do. We've tried other doggie daycares in the past, and this one has been by far the best. Our pups are naturally very nervous and not big fans of people, but the team here has consistently gone above and beyond to build trust with them. Because of that patience and care, our dogs now look forward to their camp days, and we love being able to see them playing on the cameras. I feel completely comfortable recommending this place as a safe and caring environment for your pup. I know how difficult it can be to leave your babies in someone else's care, and this team truly puts our minds at ease. We genuinely enjoy this place and will continue to use their services.

I'm a bit iffy on this place. Why? So I have been to a few of the daycares around town. There's a…read moreparticular style of daycare that I don't find to be very stimulating for dogs and this place kind of fits that format. While it is convenient for me, when I watch the cameras, it looks like the dogs are just wandering around like zombies. Usually other daycares have more interaction with staff. There's maybe one staff member to like 15 or 20 dogs. The other thing is I'm not entirely sure they actually understand dog behavior. Because a lot of the dogs are restless and have zero structure, they don't have great socializing manners. My dog is an intelligent breed who will correct dogs who are rude or in his face and it gets tiring for him if he's doing that more than the staff. So when they told me that they had put him away because he was air nipping at dogs, that was strange. I've never had a report of him having behavior issues. Now if they had told me he seemed tired and needed to be to decompressed, that's fine. Maybe it was the staff's wording. And why she needed to report it to me I don't know because that's just a normal part of daycare and dog behavior. So after reading the reviews I did see instances in which dogs that are being aggressive to begin with or annoying aren't being corrected and then when the dog goes to correct them, which is dog etiquette, the dog who asserts boundaries to protect themselves gets punished? That to me shows a lack of understanding about dog behavior. I've watched the webcams at other daycares, and staff know how to separate dogs or to keep things from escalating and know when it's appropriate to put a dog away in a crate for a little time without making the dog feel bad or without making the owner think there's some big issue. I'm trying to gauge whether he actually likes going here. He comes home tired but not looking happy. And whenever we go there in the morning, he tends to whine, which he doesn't do at the other locations we've been. So this one will probably start getting rotated out of his daycare choices for the week. But on the positive side, I do like that they have a little events for the dogs or special treats and get your permission. I just don't feel very confident that it's anything more than just like a room full of dogs all walking around in circles. Like at least interact with them a little bit? Maybe add another counselor or two per group? Make me feel like everybody is taking classes about dog behavior and understand different dog breeds and how dogs are meant to interact? Also the webcam never seems to work very well. I'll watch on the phone or don't even try to watch on the laptop and it goes in and out but at least they have a webcam because barx parx doesn't. And there may be people and dogs who love this place or love the locations in other parts of Las Vegas but for intelligent breeds, I just don't think this place is very stimulating or matches well with his needs. Maybe this is just what happens when you take a bunch of dogs regardless of personality and throw them in together. Dogs have different play styles and some dogs are annoying to other dogs. But here, it just feels like a major free-for-all. The staff are mostly friendly, but maybe also communicating different things to the dog owners in a different way would have probably avoided me feeling less confident about this place because now I'm worried about who my dog is with during the day. If you don't know dogs, that's kind of concerning.... And I'm not seeing anything in my experience or my dog's reactions or through the webcam that makes me feel confident... And with that many dogs per one counselor, I can see where it would be easy for a dog to get hurt.

I was immediately comfortable and confident that I had reached the right person . Step 1: He sent over a very detailed questionnaire, so he would know my dog before he met him. I did the 10 week at my home, which was most convenient for me. I would like to note that I travel and have a crazy schedule so we had to reschedule many times. I thank Roy for accommodating professional life. Step 2: our first in person visit Roy met Finn, my extremely rambunctious Australian shepherd/Shetland sheepdog, who loves to run out the front door and dash out into the desert, or bolt past me going down the stairs inside my house, almost sending me down the stairs . Little did I know training was as much for me, as it was for my dog. I learned so much about my dog and about me. Lots of things I thought were cute I have found are not so endearing I am still amazed. With every visit, I gained more insight and knowledge from Roy. Started out just leaving my house and working up and down my own Street. Step 3: moving from working in our neighborhood down to walking around at the park in the downtown area. Teaching Finn to sit at the corners before crossing, and not to chase after birds or other dogs. He no longer yanks on his leash. I am very grateful for the experience. I want to thank Roy from the bottom of my heart. Our lives have changed and are so much different, having a dog properly trained. Finn still has a long way to go, but I am willing to make the effort with the information Roy has given me to succeed. I plan on stopping in to his drop in classes in Kingman on Saturdays, because Finn's training will never be over, he is sly lol and he likes to get one up on me anytime he thinks I'm not paying attention. After all he is a smart dog! Roy travelled all the way from Kingman to Needles for our training, and I know he goes to Lake Havasu City and Bullhead and God knows where else If you are looking for a knowledgeable and experienced trainer, Roy is your guy . That was my first problem. Second problem is, the word trim could be replaced with HACKING. Indiscriminately using clippers on her black nails, which is already dangerous because it's hard to tell where the quick is, and lo and behold she cut at least one too short. Immediately there was blood, which she tried to say was HERS!! She wouldn't have told me if I hadn't seen it myself! Third and final strike. I said we do them at home, we use grinders, and was being ignored while listening to commentary that they were practically grown into her feet (give me a break). I just wanted to get my dog back so I tried not to throw a fit and that was my subtle way of trying to say "we do them, you dont need to". I am horrified by the fact that if I hadn't seen the blood that she tried to hide, she wouldn't have told me. I am just shocked by the lack of respect, care, and transparency - I know mistakes happen, but this could have been avoided. If she'd had the respect to ask about performing additional services on my dog before just deciding to do them (would have said no), been mindful of taking small snips once she took it upon herself to just do things I hadn't asked for (or switched to a grinder - standard practice for dogs with black nails), and after making this unfortunate mistake she should have told me what she did instead of trying to lie about it!! Even just from a veterinary care standpoint, I NEED TO KNOW! What foot, what nail(s)!? In addition, he had sores that lead us to believe he may have been attacked by other dogs. It's very distressing to think that our well-cared-for, trained, and loved dog may not have been treated with the same level of care. To the owner, If animals are not being cared for properly, this is not the right line of work for you. The environment is also extremely loud, making it difficult to communicate with staff you can barely even say your pet's name and be heard. To other pet owners it would be best you find another place to take your pet.
