Decided to try it out regardless of all the bad reviews. Stood outside in the cold for 10 mins with security all sitting inside in view of us having conversation. After a while, we asked someone else who we thought was in line with us. Turns out, he was the bouncer, he said "I'm having a conversation, that's what's taking so long" and proceeded to continue. Dragonfly was the centrepiece of the worst nightlife experience of my life. I'll do my best to keep this brief. The bouncers here must hate every minute of their waking lives - at least that's the only way I can make sense of their behaviour. Miserable men who've finally achieved the slightest bit of power. I feel sorry for whomever has the chore of presently knowing them. I feel sorrier for the future patrons of this cesspool who are forced to communicate with them while assuming some level of baseline competence - you will be sorely disappointed. "Dress code" apparently means "dress like a boomer." I have no idea what they want people to wear. One of my friends nearly wasn't allowed entry because he had army-green pants on, despite our having a table booked with a minimum spend of several bottles. "I don't care if you have ten bottles reserved, that's the dress code." Ill leave it to the reader to conjure this character in their own way. We executed a Jedi mind trick and convinced the weak-minded human to let us in, where we were then searched. Prepare to be aggressively prodded and examined in ways you didn't think were legal in a security line to gain entry. Coat check - don't even think of wearing a sweater - not dress code. Also, you will be forced to check any outerwear, because you're not allowed to bring jackets to the private booth you've reserved. The music is fucking terrible. If he were there, I'm sure Pitbull would have loved his ego stroked as they played five of his hit singles. Went last weekend with some friends and tho the wait outside was horrrible. We had a good time. Word of advice, GET THERE BEFORE 11:30pm . After that time they make you wait for no apparent reason. Cover's $20. Ladies free before 12. The drinks were quite reasonably priced throughout the night. There's a pretty large dance floor and many booths available. Don't know capacity, but definitely bigger than most if not all nightclubs in Toronto. Which is great cause our group just wanted to dance so we had space. There were also these lasers/lights that complimented the music and really helped with the overall feel of the place. The crowd is a mixture, but most probably 25+. DO NOT, I REPEAT, DO NOT try to set up a bottle service event at this club. I had a group on 60-70 people that I was told all month planning- ladies free before 11:30 and boys $10 at the door. When we got there, half our group was moved from the bottle service line and put outside where they then were told they had to pay $40-60 at the door because they didnt have a "ticket," I was never once told about a ticket or given a ticket to give anyone. Inside, the club overcharged us when they knew what our initial budget was. My first time at Dragonfly nightclub was about 8 years ago, for a friend's birthday party, I don't remember too much except for the fact that the security guards are excellent at their jobs in booting out sleazy guys who bother you. Recently I came for a bachelorette party on a Saturday night. For a nightclub you'll often get in for free if you're a woman, or pay a small cover charge. BUT since we're in Niagara, none of that applies. All people who walk in are charged a $20 COVER CHARGE. wowza. Since however there are only about 3 nightclubs in Niagara and this IS the nicest one. I'm not surprised. The club is spacey and they take an entrance photo of your group to post on their facebook. (Make sure to check a few days later.) You can get a private section or bottle service for an additional fee, however there is plenty of room to dance if you so choose. Prices for drinks are your typical bar pricing. There is a ton of security around so don't worry about not feeling safe, and the bathrooms are guarded by staff of the appropriate gender, so no funny business can go down. Overall this nightclub is definitely the best in Niagara, it's been around forever and I think it will continue to be. The music is great, the strobe lighting is fantastic, a must go to if you're into the club scene. 4/5 read more

We came to Dragonfly as a part of my bachelorette weekend since it's so well located in downtown Niagara Falls and we wanted to go dancing. We were on the guestlist but still had to pay the $20 cover, so beware that you may need to pay cover whether you're on the guestlist or not. We didn't have to wait long to get in and they do check your bags when you go in but it was more of a cursory glance than a full on check. Location is fantastic, if you're staying anywhere near Fallsview, its less than 5 minutes to get to it and you can access it from inside fallsview if its cold out. The line inside fallsview was faster than the one outside but it wasn't terrible either way. The music here is just awful. The DJ played maybe four songs I'd ever heard before in an hour and about 30 seconds of each before he changed it, despite the fact that the crowd was responding to these well-known dance songs. The first half hour of music sounded like he was just playing songs off one album in a row - very little distinction between songs which made it boring. But the dance floor is large and the bar is too, was never hard to get to the bar to get a drink, which is a nice change from clubs in Toronto where you have to push and shove. They have some wicked cool lighting on the ceiling, which was fun to watch, especially when they projected stuff across it. For me, big fat fail. We had better music going in our hotel room off youtube than the junk this DJ played, or whoever was doing the music. Look for another place to go or if you really wanna go clubbing, go to Toronto to see how real clubs do a dance club. Really disappointed by this experience and I won't be back!!! read more

Dragonfly is your first, and pretty much last, option for an acceptable nightclub in Niagara Falls. I went to Dragonfly on a Saturday night for a friend's bachelor party. There were ten of us and we had guestlist. Upon arriving at 10:30, there was no lineup and we got in within five minutes. This was very different from my first experience two years ago when I was told that I would have to wait one hour to get in after arriving at midnight. Cover was $20 which is pretty steep, but given that it is Niagara Falls it's not unusual. The drinks were average price, about $6.50 for a vodka-tonic. They were really weak though. The service was prompt. By 11 pm the club started to get busy. There were a LOT of bachelorette parties there, so there was no shortage of girls. It was quite a challenge to move around the club and there is always someone bumping into you and spilling your drink. The club is nothing special, and the music is average. The best part has to be the crowd. Just make sure you get there early. read more

We had a great time at this place. I like the atmosphere and the music is really good. We made sure to get there before 11:30. There was no line and the place was kind of empty. It got crowded pretty quick, though. The emptiness gave us a chance to acclimate to the environment. The sound system is really good. The drinks are CHEAP! I come from NY, so they are half the price that I'm used to paying. For a vodka cran and sea breeze we paid $13 Canadian. No bad at all!. Even if you RSVP, you have to pay. Soooo, makes no sense to RSVP, really. The only issue I had with this place is the abundance of promiscuous Indian men. OMG! I thought NYC was bad, but that had to be the worst I have ever experienced. We barely danced because every time we tried to, some guy would try to attach themselves to our bodies. No! I think we were there during some Indian wedding after parties. That is the only explanation for the abundance of promiscuous Indian people. It is definitely a place to go if you want to party. But drinks are poor, if you order a mix drink, say a screw driver, they have regulator's on the bottle's that shut off at a little less then a shot per drink, and most of it ends up on the table they pour on 'cause the bartenders can't aim. This was probably the largest club I've ever been to, which doesn't say too much seeing as how this was probably the third club ive been to in Canada haha. An enormous area to dance, with a very lit and colourful ceiling. There were 2 main bar areas to make ordering drinks that much easier. One of the things I thought was pretty cool was that there were some tables around the outside premise of the dance floor for people to lean on and rest their drinks on. It's also situated right in downtown Niagara Falls, so if you're in the area doing some sightseeing, might as well make a stop here at some point in your night - that is, if you enjoy the clubbing scene. had a horrible and extremely upsetting experience at this club on Saturday night (August 10, 2019). My friends and I had arranged to have bottle service as we were celebrating someone's birthday and we'd wanted to do something special for her. We received confirmation emails from Sarah that we would be getting bottle service that night along with passes for 4 of us to enter the club for free when we arrived. The friend who'd booked the bottle service also knew the DJ who said he would had two additional people in our group of 7 to the guest list. When we arrived we were met with a very different situation than what we'd agreed to. We were told that only one person would get in for free as the DJ had put them on the guest list and that the rest of us would pay a "reduced cover" of 15 dollars instead of the regular 20. This was a bit ridiculous as we were already paying for bottle service and I can genuinely say I've never once had to pay cover after I've already agreed to pay for bottle service. We tried showing the emails to security and to the person at coat check multiple times and were called liars. They refused to even check the emails and said we'd have no choice but to pay cover. This was a shady business practice but whatever, we just wanted to enjoy our friends birthday celebration. Next thing I know, my friend is being surrounded by security as she stood in line and being asked to leave because the girl working coat check said she'd thrown money at her. What a preposterous allegation, we had all been standing together and no such thing had occurred. Furthermore, how many hyper-aggressive male security guards does it take to remove one woman who had displayed zero aggression? She obliged and left the line and stood over to the side waiting for us. My other friends and I tried to reason with the overly aggressive security guards but were told our only options were to go in the club and leave our friend behind, or to all leave at once. Naturally we chose to all leave as it was a ridiculous and unfair situation. Unfortunately the birthday girl had already entered the club at this point and was by herself, she had already been drinking and I was worried about her being alone. I personally asked one of the security guards if he could go get her for me so that I could explain the situation to her and we could leave, he agreed to help me out and was very kind. However, about a minute later another security guard came over and told me it was too bad and I'd have to call her. I explained to him that I'd called her and texted her already with no answer and once again he called me a liar and repeated that it was too bad. I cannot for the life of me understand the behaviour of these security guards, I explained to them that I hadn't even been asked to leave the club, I just wanted to get my friend and then they called over another security guard. I thought since she was a woman there was a chance she'd understand the situation I was in a bit better and be more sympathetic to me not wanting my friend to be left alone in a club. Unfortunately I was very mistaken, this guard was perhaps the most aggressive of them all, she acted like she had something to drive, even when no one was challenging her. This security guard, Taylor, was on a power trip of epic proportions. After I explained what happened she said too bad and that I'd have to leave as I had been asked to exit the club. I explained to her that no, this isn't true, my friend had been asked to leave, and I'd be happy to oblige and go, as soon as the birthday girl was with us. She then told me that two other security guards had told her I needed to leave, I once again explained to her that no, that wasn't me, that was my friend. Keep in mind that my friend and I bear absolutely no resemblance to one another. Taylor the security guard then grabbed me, twisted my arm behind me, and pushed me out of the line. How horrifying this experience was, as a security guard, Taylor had no legal right to touch me. I was never aggressive, I never threatened her, I was angry yes, but it was because none of them would do their jobs and assist my friends and I. I asked Taylor why she had touched me and she told me I had tried to "step to her". I have never gotten into a fight in my life, unlike Taylor I actually do not believe in physical aggression, so no, I did not try to "step to her". As a racialize woman, this incident with Taylor was very triggering for me. All i could think about was the countless views I've seen of P.O.C being attacked for seemingly no reason and I could not believe this was happening to me. Although my instinct was to fight back, I did not for fear of what could happen to me simply because of the colour of my skin. I took a picture of Taylor afterwards and we exchanged words where she threatened to call the police on me. This place is absolutely terrible - do NOT come. I came in a very large group that had notified the club in advance and worked out a deal for line bypass. When we arrived the bouncers were completely unprofessional and rude to us - constantly yelling insults and rude comments at us without providing information on how we could better organize ourselves to get into the club. Once we reached the front of the line, the bouncers asked us to move into the bottle service line so we could be let into the club next. They then proceeded to completely ignore us for the rest of the night and let in people who were far behind us in line, before completely shutting down entry to the club for no apparent reason. JUNE 14/2013 I went with 3 other girls to Niagara for a ladies night. When I put us on guestlist earlier that day I was told they were absolutely full for VIP but upon arrival I politely asked the manager if he could do something for us. They had a last-minute cancellation and we were promptly escorted to a table in the VIP section. We were the only girls in the area except for the servers. Paid $225 for a $25 bottle of vodka and when 3 guys lingered near us I asked the bouncer to get them away from us and he replied "why don't you just leave". After a brief umm WTF on my part, it became evident he assumed us four girls were just bottle hounding these random guys when it was actually the other way around. I would tell you the rest of the story but I don't remember because I was roofied and had respiratory failure and eventually I slipped into a coma. This was not before two bouncers had to help carry me out because my friends say they were all asked to leave when I became visibly intoxicated. When the girls told security I wasn't drinking before we arrived and the bottle was still more than half full they didn't care. When I woke up in the ER the doctor said they didn't know if I was going to make it I had enough rohypnol for 5 people my size in the toxicology report. Be careful read more

Unfortunately, I had a terrible experience at your club and will not be recommending it to others. I did not have a reservation for the bottle service prior to my arrival but your server Mikhayla made my group sit at a table then Eric came along and kicked my group out VERY RUDELY and told me I can't sit there because I don't have a reservation. Anyhow, we moved tables and ordered a bottle. Eric ruined my entire experience at the club! He was very rude and does not know how to treat customers. I expect to be treated with treated if I am spending over $350+ (bottle + entry fees) at your club. Mikhayla was okay, although we had to tell her everything twice before she got us the coke, water, etc. We later got another server and her name was Jessica. Jessica was amazing!!! A + to her! You need more amazing servers like her. She was very respectful towards my group and set a very example of customer service.  I would appreciate if you can teach Eric a thing or two about customer service. Just because he had a bad experience with another group, doesn't give him the right to treat another paying customer the same way. We were looking for a fun place in the Niagara Falls Area and this place was perfect. It was right next to the casino so it was in a great location. We played some black jack for the early parts of the night and then we headed over there. I read some of the other reviews before heading there and some people suggested getting there before 11:30 pm so we decided to go there at 10:30 pm. We didn't wait in line and we paid a $20 cover charge. Coat check was $3. It wasn't crowded at all but then around 12 people started coming in. By around 12:30 the place was packed. The music was good and the lasers/lights were a fun addition to it. The lasers/lights covers all of the dance floor and is in synch with the music. The lights made me just want to dance more, I thought it was pretty cool haha. The good thing was that everyone was just having a blast and dancing! The crowd all seemed like they were just trying to let loose. Some more than others haha - this one guy who was probably drunk out of his mind was dancing with his shirt off. Overall I think it's a good night club to go to if you're out in the Niagara Falls area. The location is perfect and you'll definitely dance your butt off. read more
