After years of seeing JASC pop up on NextDoor with reviews so glowing I thought, "Can this possibly be for real?" I finally ended up giving them a go. From the moment I connected with Andrew and David it was clear this was going to be a car experience unlike anything I had known. From the very first conversation, I felt like I was talking to friends who had my best interest at heart -- from safety to money matters. They took time to explain everything in detail, staying in touch via text at each step of the process to keep me updated. Not only did they not try to upsell me on anything, David actually called and had me bring over some extra lug nuts I had at the house because he "didn't want to sell me something I already had." In addition to their extremely efficient no-contact, COVID-safe process, I was also delighted to discover that JASC has been involved in several community and give-back initiatives ranging from Hilliard community gatherings to toy drives to Honor Flight sponsorships. It's a pleasure to support a local company that is doing good business and doing good for the community. So here I am, another JASC fan writing a glowing message that will possibly make you wonder, "Is this for real?" Like me, I hope curiosity gets the best of you and inspires you to give them a try because you will not be disappointed.

I would've appreciated an honest response so I could've taken my car to a shop that does wheel alignments. The car was aligned twice due to steering wheel not being straight while driving. 2. Owner admitted that an inspection was not done even though the repair order/invoice directly states it. He insinuated it was my fault because I didn't allow the shop to perform it. When a car is ready & the customer picks up their car. I would logically assume all the work is completed, including the inspection. 3. Lastly, the owner's attitude on the phone conversation was not professional ( insinuating I was part of the problem). Lesson learned: always confirm that the auto shop that you do business will do the work & not contract to another shop.

First of all, when you set up an appointment, you can request a loaner car, so that you don't need to wait there for the car, and I didn't have to miss work. I also saw a different rep ordering someone an Uber for a different customer because who didn't have appointment so there wasn't a loaner available. Secondly, I originally went in for a transmission flush. While I was at work, I got a text and email of the inspection they had done. The inspection was really easy to read, and gave me different levels of recommendations for other things that needed to be done. Some things were urgent, and some things were needed soon, but not urgent, and there were some things that were for maintenance only. On my lunch break, I called my service rep, and he was able to talk me through all of the things on the report, and explain things to me, because I am pretty illiterate when it comes to cars. I ended up also getting my drive belt replaced as well. But my rep made sure to let me know what the price would before I decided to go through with it. At the end of my work day, I drove my loaner car back to Luke's and picked my car up, and was on my way. Overall, the inspection report, and the loaner car I think is what really separates Luke's from the rest. When I've taken my car to get an oil change or the tires replaced at other places, i've always had to wait in the lobby and its a waste of time. I lost no time with Luke's and knew exactly what was happening to my car. Take your car to Luke's if you want incredible service.

I recently had the water pump replaced on my vehicle at Luke's Auto Shop. Unfortunately, shortly…read moreafter the repair, I discovered that a coolant hose clamp associated with the water pump had been left improperly installed. This caused coolant to leak into the engine bay and could have led to much more serious engine damage if it hadn't been caught quickly. A mistake like this is concerning because the cooling system is a critical component, and something as basic as verifying that all hose clamps are properly secured should be part of every final inspection before a vehicle is returned to the customer. That said, I also believe it's important to recognize when a business makes a genuine effort to address a problem. Once the issue was brought to the shop's attention, the service manager handled the situation professionally. While the original workmanship issue should not have occurred, he did what he could to make the situation right by listening to my concerns, arranging for the vehicle to be checked over, and working to restore my confidence in the repair. No repair shop is immune to mistakes, but how those mistakes are handled matters. In this case, the initial repair fell short of the standard I expected, but the service manager's professionalism and willingness to stand behind the work improved what could have been a much worse experience. Overall, I hope the shop strengthens its quality-control procedures to ensure critical items like coolant hose connections are verified before vehicles leave the shop. If they do, I believe they can provide a much more consistently positive customer experience.

Very knowledgeable mechanics and very nice to employers in general, but very expensive place for…read morerepairs. I usually take my car in for oil, filter and tire rotation, $45 or so, not bad. However, any mechanical repair is extremely expensive. I received an estimate to change the sway away bars, rear suspension/rear shock absorbers and change the tripods for close to $1,500. I found a local small shop mechanic that did it for less than $700. Also, on another vehicle, the horn wasn't working, so Oxford gave me an estimate to fix it for $450. I reviewed YouTube videos and was able to fix it myself, since the problem was simply that the ground cable was not making contact. Bought a 2' copper cable, changed the horn and changed the plug, all for less than $60. Yes, $450 vs $60. Again, I don't think they are bad mechanics, but way too pricey. Won't go back.

When we called in to make an appointment l, they were prompt and super friendly. After having our car and thoroughly checking/testing, they were unable to duplicate the issue. They offered great advice and next steps if it were to happen again. And then they didn't charge us for any of it. Honestly, I can't believe it and wish they would have at least charged us some amount simply because they were amazing and truly did help us. It's amazing to find this level of service and I will never go anywhere else! This is the kind of business that truly deserves its 5-star review. P.S. They do services like oil changes, too. Went to look at the gas pump because I smelled so much gas, turns out they LITERALLY USED ZIP TIES to hold the hoses into place... Instead of buying the correct clip.
