I came to this Mr. Tire location on November 21, 2025 for a simple oil change on my well-maintained 2017 Subaru BRZ. Manager Glen was immediately rude and resistant to processing my valid Fidelity Warranty service plan -- I had to call Fidelity and hold my phone over the counter on speakerphone just to get him to do his job. 33 days later my engine was destroyed. The authorized Subaru dealership formally documented in writing that the oil level was incorrect following Mr. Tire's service and caused catastrophic engine failure -- $8,952.09 in damages. I filed a claim with their insurer Travelers Insurance. Denied. I have filed complaints with the Ohio Department of Insurance, the Ohio Attorney General, and Subaru Corporate. I am pursuing this in Franklin County court. I am a server. This set me back years. Glen didn't want to do his job that day and I'm paying for it. I work across the street from this location and I had to limp my car over at 3pm because it was violently shaking and would not drive above 15 mph. The gentleman working came out to my car and checked multiple parts of my engine. Through these tests, he figured out that I had a bad spark plug. He told me he would order the part and call me when the car is done. I went back to work and received a call less than an hour later that my car was ready to be picked up. I came back and he only charged me for the part he ordered. I am very pleased with the service and work done. Will be recommending this location to friends and family. read more

The week of June 6/8 my wife had new breaks put on at Mr. Tire, conspicuously three days later the check engine light came on. I was told on 6/17 that I was in need of an 02 sensor on the car that would cost $501. I doubted the legitimacy of the issue due to the timing, but agreed to pay as I was told that it would fix the problem. At the time of payment, I was told "Yes, the issue was the 02 sensor, the problem has been solved". 16 hours (6/18) later my wife's check engine light came on again. I requested that Mr. Tire take a look at the car again. They then told my wife that the issue was now the catalytic converter and quoted my wife $779 to replace it. When I asked to speak to the manager, I was informed that he was not in, I requested that he call me ASAP, the office worker told me instead to call tomorrow (6/19). When I was finally able to get on the phone with the manager (no direct line to the store, have to go through third party scheduling), he was completely unapologetic and did not seem to understand my point of view that immediate check engine lights following service on two separate occasions was noteworthy. Absolutely no effort was made by the manager to alleviate the situation. He refused to allow me to pick up the (allegedly) damaged 02 sensor and said that he did not have it. I have 0 confidence in anything this manager or the employees have told me and I am really regretting spending $900 at this place of business in under 4 days. read more

I went there for a quote on my flat tire and they said it would be $190 for 1 tire. I said didn't want the service and the guy who drove my car out left my car on NEUTRAL and walked away as my car was moving looking all mad. I was holding my baby in my arms and had to rush back to my car to stop it. He didn't even look back. So, if you're not 100% sure you're gonna have your service done there, don't even waste your time expecting a good service for a quote. And because of this terrible experience, I'll never come back there. read more

After an unfortunate blow-out on Saturday night, I had a new tire installed at a Mr. Tire location in Hunker, PA. The guys at the Pennsylvania store urged me to stop at another Mr. Tire after driving 50-100 miles and to have them "re-torque" the tire. I asked if it would be safe to drive 200 miles until I got home and they said that would be fine. So, after getting home, I went to the local Mr. Tire location and asked them to re-torque the tire for me. I also asked them for advice on buying a full-size spare for the car (my car wasn't equipped with a spare). The guys in the store were very helpful and suggested places where I could buy a rim (they sell tires but not the wheels). The re-torqued the tire at no cost and I left with info on where to find a rim. Great service. read more

I just had to leave a glowing review because I was so impressed with the level of service here! I was completely ignored at the Firestone tire shop across the street. It was late on a Saturday night and the shops were getting close to closing. Firestone employees eye rolled at me when I came in! I had a nail in my rear tire and had lost a lot of tire pressure. After waiting for a lengthy amount of time waiting for Firestone to even LOOK at my tire, I called Mr Tire, noticing they were right across the street. Mr Tire employee said they could look at my car right away, so I left Firestone and went across the street! Mr Tire was quick! They pulled out the nail in my tire and cleaned and patched my tire within 15 min. They apologized that I had a bad experience across the street and did the entire service FOR FREE! I needed tires... well, to the point I was having my pressure sensor go off every other week for about 9 months. Yeah yeah. Get off my case, I'm a business owner... I'm busy. So! My dad recommended this Mr. Tire down the street from their house and I was beyond happy with my service. The man that helped me at the desk whom I believe was the manager, was one of the nicest, patient and friendliest people in automotive I have ever met. Super Kudos to you, dude. They told me it would be a little over an hour for my car to be done, was done exactly that. Their prices are on-point, they also offered extra things but never once tried to sell me things I didn't need which I haven't experienced in any of those places. Typically you're conned into getting all kinds of extras you don't need at all. Not this time. I'm beyond impressed with this place. My friend had a flat tire on her SUV on sunday afternoon. I went over to help her change it. But... where ever she had it last serviced must have used an air gun on the lugs because they were not budging at all. So we were able to get at least enough air in it to drive a few miles to another tire shop (rhymes with firestone). They pretty much refused to help us without actually saying they refuse. Said they were too busy (2 cars in the garage). So we went across the street to Mr. Tire. Was greeted right away by Thomas. He was total opposite of the guy across the street. Listened to our problem and even though there was a couple cars already being worked on... he tool the keys and had the car driven in the garage. 5 minutes later he told us there was a screw in the tire and they can have it fixed in less than 10 minutes. 8 minutes later they pulled the car back around and said it was good to go. I have custom rims on my car but unfortunately they are prone to leaks from small amounts of corrosion. I took it in a few months ago to have them reestablish the seal. I was stranded in Ohio with my three kids and my dog. We had a busted tire on New Year's Day and I called half of Columbus looking for help with a new tire. While this Mr Tire did not have what we needed, they were able to find another one who did. This is the store I've been looking for! I haven't been able to find a place to give you a good oil change at a reasonable price until today. I called asking about the 9.99 oil change and if I needed an appointment. The gentleman on the phone told me that the 9.99 oil change is if you apply for a credit card but a standard oil change is 29.99. He was very honest and up front so I would know what price to expect. When I dropped off and picked up my car I was respectfully greeted and well taken care of. They offered me a ride home if I didn't want to wait for the oil change. I left my car there and picked it up later on. I would definitely recommend servicing your car at Mr. Tire! They even honored my yelp check in discount when I mentioned it. read more

I have a 2017 Toyota Highlander that has been maintained at the dealership where I bought the car. Although it has less than 45K miles, the dealership invariably told me that the car needed a wheel alignment job every time I brought the car in for a scheduled service. I took the car to Mr Tire because they did such an excellent alignment job on my other car (Hyundai Sonata). They checked my Highlander out and found the alignment was within specs and charged me nothing. Their honesty goes a long way. For sure I will go back to Mr Tire when I need work done to my vehicles. read more

I took my car in to have them repair a tire with a slow leak. They told me the tire was irreparable due to being driven on flat (which definitely hadn't happened). They said my tire was shredding itself from the inside out and would blow any day. That I shouldn't drive it very far. THEN proceeded to quote me over $125 for a new tire. Took my care to Firestone instead and they fixed it for $20. Think twice before you go to Mr. Tire, they're definitely taking advantage of you. Mechanic went way above and beyond. I asked for an oil change and a part to be replaced. Mechanic advised that the part I was asking for was not needed and was not the reason the truck wasn't running right. I asked for just the oil change at that point. While he had it, he found the problem, cleaned rust off spark plugs and wires and told me the at the truck needed a tune up. It was last minute on a Sunday afternoon. He saves me over $200, did extra work and the truck has been running like a champ since. We will be taking the truck back for the tune up and anything our vehicles need, I know I can count on them to be reliable and trustworthy and a great value. read more

I was in town for Christmas and after getting gas, I noticed a sharp, metal thing sticking out of the back right tire. Mr. Tire was right next store so stopped to see if they could plug. Due to (tire) location, it wasn't possible and they didn't have that tire in stock. It was Dec 23rd! They told me they could order but to check across the street (competitor) to see if they had an immediate fix. It took about 5 minutes across the street to realize they were zero help. I quickly came back to Mr. Tire and Eric and his coworker were able to get everything ordered for the next day. The most impressive (& helpful) thing to me was they went ahead and changed out for my spare and kept my current tire so when the new tire came in, it would be a quick swap to my rim so all they had to do was install on my car, saving me time. I have a Tahoe with crazy large tires. The fact this happened right before Xmas was not convenient but these guys took care of me and made sure my trip back to South Carolina was safe. Last weekend my brother-in-law's car blew up. He had it towed to Mr. Tire at Polaris. They checked it over and gave him a $1,300. list of repairs that he would need to have it running again. He opted instead to have it towed to our house and my husband's uncle came over and fixed it. The problem was a $4 rubber seal. I'm not sure if Mr. Tire would have changed their estimate after discovering this, but don't think that I would have stuck around and find out either. I would hope that they would have fixed the real problem for much less money than quoted. You may want to get a second opinion if you go there first! read more

I have never had anything but honest service from this place. I recently stopped in here because I needed a tire. I had known since last December I needed a set of 4 but I waited as we all do. I told John the manager when I came in that I needed just one tire but I knew that I really needed 4. John was honest with me and worked the best deal he could for just one tire and did not try to pressure sell me into getting a four that I needed. At the end of the day/deal I did wind up getting a set of four and saved over $200 in the process. I have never found this place to be dishonest, aggressively up-selling, or anything but just honest. Ended up getting a nail in my tire after I got home from work. I had no idea until the next morning when I started driving. My tire pressure was 20. I saw that Mr. Tire opened at 7:30 and it wasn't too far from my house. I went there and they checked out my tire right away. They gave me options, told me that it is not recommended for run flats to be plugged and I ordered two new ones. They estimated a price and called it a day. The tires arrived the next day and I received a call my car was ready and that the estimation was just that: an estimate, as I paid a lot more for my tire as the one I was quoted, they did not have in stock. I didn't mind as I needed a tire/s obviously. My boyfriend who has the same car, same tires, just got a nail in his, and he paid $90 less per tire from a local competitor. I appreciate how quickly Mr. Tire got me in and got my tires in, as although he paid $90 less, he had to wait 4 days to get his tire in. For me, it all depends on convenience and Mr. Tire did just that! Plus they were very friendly! read more

Stopped by Mr. Tire Auto Center #880 at 8500 Pulsar Place at Polaris. I pulled in late on a Sunday afternoon 15 minutes before they were closing without any appointment and didn't realistically expect to get any service at this time. John Swiatek the manager was extremely polite and prompt at serving me. He had one of his courteous technicians pull my Jeep immediately into the garage and had my oil changed within 10-15 minutes. I have read comments and see people complaining about having to apply for a credit card to get a cheaper oil change. If they are giving me a discount I personally don't have any problem with it. They also run oil change promotions periodically that can provide savings to customers that can't be found at other automotive centers. I will definitely be visiting John and his staff when I need my next oil change or tires. read more

Since the dealership is closed on Sunday's I was In desperate need of getting my tire fixed since it had a nail in it. Stressing out how I was going to get to work on time at 3:30 and make it to class on Monday. Mr. Tires saved the day. Called before going in and they were able to get me in. Chris was very helpful. I posted this under an old account on Yelp - I am reposting it under my new account - this was originally posted a year ago, April of 2014, maybe they've changed their ways, who knows - but every time I drive by this place I am reminded of how badly I was treated and how dishonest they were in their arrogantly aggressive defense of their horrific (intentional?) mistakes. Here was my previous review; Prior to 2009 used to have the work on all of my cars done at Mr. Tire on Pulsar place. Maybe they changed management or policy but after the accumulation of mistakes and horrible customer service I will never return. Late in 2009, I had Mr. Tire put new rotors on a Dodge Magnum RT. The car never handled the same after this - and after finding out they mistakenly put 12" rotors instead of the required 13" rotors. I found because of the excessive tire wear caused by the installation of the wrong parts. Instead of replacing my tires at their cost they conceded to giving me 40%+/- off a pair performance tires, after they cost me a full set of tires to begin with - and that was just considering damage to the tires, it didn't count the other damage they had caused to the struts, tie rod ends and steering. When they gave me a quote for $5,000 to fix damage that *they* had caused - I shopped it around getting quotes ranging from $2,000 - $3,5000. I was never able to shake the feeling that I had been ripped off here and taken advantage of. Which brings me to April 22, 2014. I had a tire with a leak and thought - well maybe I will give these guys a chance again in the interest of giving the benefit of doubt at a minimum. When I went into the store early in the earlier morning I explained to John that I wasn't happy with what had happened in the past and thought maybe a small repair such as patching a tire would be a good way to reestablish trust. Instead of apologizing, or even reassuring me I had nothing to worry about - John went into a whiny tirade about how he was offended that I would even bring such an issue up, honestly the kind of thing you would expect from a 5 year old. That made it was an easy decision - I went across the street to Firestone, and they treated me very well, did a good job on the repair and charged me $10 less than Mr. Tire was going to charge me. That was enough for me - I will never give Mr. Tire my business again. If you have experienced this - you can feel good about going across the street to Firestone. read more

I was a happy repeat customer. But now, I'll never visit Mr. Tire again. My wife took my daughter's 1999 Corolla to Mr. Tire for routine service. During the service a technician told her about a missing wheel nut and offered to replace it for $80. She thought the price was a bit high and declined. When she returned to the waiting area, she phoned her dad and told him about the missing wheel nut. Her dad phoned a different Mr. Tire location and was told they would replace a wheel nut on a 1999 Corolla for $30. He phoned my wife with this information. When she confronted the manager about this, he became defensive and angry. He then directed my wife to "have a seat" because he had a waiting room full of customers to deal with. Understandably, my wife was hot, told the manager to stop work on her car, and immediately phoned the Mr. Tire customer service number. Customer service was patient and understanding (and most importantly, respectful) and set up an appointment for her at a nearby location where they finished the maintenance for free. I lodged a complaint about the Pulsar Place location through the Mr. Tire website, but as of today (almost four weeks later) I have still not received any kind of response. Apparently the Polaris location charges customers based on gender. All in all, a very dishonest operation. Farewell, Mr. Tire! read more

Last night I went to Mr. Tire for an oil change. The manager told me they were running a little behind. After an hour, he told me the mechanic didn't have a tool to remove my oil filter (unbelievable) and was making a "make shift" one. After two hours, my oil change was done. If the manager had been honest about the wait, I would have rescheduled. Needless to say, I won't be back. read more
