    This place is great. Everyone is friendly and knowledgeable. Out of any car places around local Columbus, I'd rather take my car here.

    I called to try to get in on the weekend to have my flat tire looked at. Andrew got me right in and I was out in 30 minutes. Great service!

I…read moreespecially like the fact they let me stay in my car during the entire change so i could see what was happening. This also allowed them to keep me informed on what they found during their basic inspection which included a basic fluid top off, tire pressure check ( as the last place I went to overfilled 3 of my tires by more than 6 psi, and deflated 1 by 3 psi). One trick that less scrupulous places try is an air filter trick to get you to change your air filter by swapping it to show you a filthy one they have on hand. They pulled it out in view and even told me the grit on there was minimal and I had about two more oil changes before it needed to be changed. Awesome! I had no issue using a digital coupon on my phone for the oil change. They informed me what type of oil the manufacturer requires, and we're very thorough. I will definitely come back. Everyone was extremely polite and professional. They were careful not to mess my hood lights I installed up, as those are installed with adhesive and pose a risk of shifting every time you open the hood. They listened to all of my concerns and answered all of my questions. I don't know how they do it in that small garage but there are approximately 4 people moving around between two narrow bays doing all of the services they offer and I have no clue how they don't run into each other. Their team communication was also good and allowed for what looked like smooth operation between them all. The oil change was pricey, even with a coupon. Anymore all basic car services seem to cost more than they used to and if I posed the skill and materials to do my own oil change, I would. But I don't and it is what it is and I choose them to get it done correctly. My only complaint was their sign was not lit up. It was after dark in December and it was hard to see where I was going to get there with how dark the parking lot is. I don't know if the timer was set for summer hours or if the sign doesn't light up, but for their safety and the customers, parking lot/auto waiting area and the sign should be lit after dark. They are located just past the light to get into the parking lot for the little Caesar's and Smash Burger at Sugar Grove Square. Thanks, team. You all were awesome.

    I had a very frustrating experience at Discount Tire. I scheduled an appointment for 9:00 AM to…read morehave four tires replaced, and when I arrived I was told the tires I ordered were not actually in stock, even though I had been told previously that they were available. Because of that, I had no choice but to purchase a different set of tires that they did have available, which ended up costing about $200 more than the $1,100 I had originally planned to spend. What made the situation worse was the service afterward. Despite having a scheduled appointment, I was repeatedly pushed back while walk-in customers and others were helped before me. I ended up waiting around four hours, which defeats the entire purpose of scheduling an appointment in advance. On top of that, several employees were rude and dismissive when I asked about the delay. I understand that shops can get busy and that inventory issues happen, but the lack of communication, the extra cost, and the way I was treated made the experience extremely disappointing. If appointments are going to be offered, they should actually be respected, and customers should not be told tires are in stock if they are not. Unfortunately, this experience did not reflect good customer service. I hope management looks into improving both communication and how customers are treated.

Turns out some of the staff from the one I generally go to have transferred up here. (A good sign that they are staying with the company.) Had some preventive maintenance done. It was done far more quickly than I expected, and they fixed another small problem I had mentioned. Always better to stay on top of things than to fix them after they break. Their credit card has six months same as cash, which is a good deal if you pay it off. This location is handy off Polaris.

Our journey started with a check engine light, took our suv to the dealer and they replaced a transmission sensor switch. Then gave us a list of additional items such as replacing the front and back brakes/rotors, replacing the left and right steering tie rod ends, replace left and right lower control arms, Automatic trans fluid exchange, power steering fluid exchange, brake system fluid exchange, replace cabin filter, replace air filter and alignment for a total of $6000. We took that list from the dealer to our normal mechanic on Saturday and he did all the work at a lower cost. We then scheduled for an alignment at this Firestone location since we purchased the Lifetime alignment when our son worked at Firestone back in 2020. When we went back to pick up our vehicle the guy started off saying the VIN number on our suv did not match what was in the system which I know is BS considering our son and his manager originally input our vehicle information. And our suv has been there prior times for alignments. More than likely he was just trying to get us to pay for the "Lifetime Alignment" again. Then the guy tried telling us that the tie rods needed to be replaced and it was going to cost $1300 - Um, What? We had just had them replaced the day before by an ASE certified mechanic. He just couldn't do the alignment as his shop does not have the equipment for it yet. We ended up leaving and while driving home we noticed that the steering wheel is not lined up and now sits turned to the left. I have no idea what they did to it and now need to go somewhere else to fix what they did. Our mechanic called the location and spoke to the guy about the tie rods and they quickly back-peddled on what they had originally told us. It's even more funny as our mechanic even has pictures of the work they did with the new tie rods. It truly was about taking advantage of their customers versus doing what was right. WILL NOT BE GOING BACK

Ron has never turned away a project I've offered him and he's always gotten jobs done in a timely manner. Mistakes are few and far between here, but he's always rectified any without charging me and he truly stands behind his work and wants to help you, not suck you dry of every dollar you have. Never once has he recommended I get something done that my vehicle doesn't truly need. I've had several emergencies where I've had to drop vehicles off overnight with disabling problems and he's always had it fixed and back to me the next day. Everything culminated when the shop slapped a supercharger on my car and I couldn't be happier. That's a pretty tall task for a shop to undertake, but Ron's crew did it right and I'm still rolling around and shredding tires with it a year later with no problems reported. No matter what you need done, this shop will do it reliably.

During the removal of the brake drums and pads a part was broken and non were available locally, Ron - one of the owners send a man to drive several hours round trip to pick up the part from one of the only places that had one. No extra charge for me. When everything goes well - everyone is happy but I know that always doesn't happen and it is important how problems are handled. This shop did well in spite of problems.
