The installers who put in the flooring were hardworking guys and they did a great job. They took care of all of the heavy lifting, took apart and reassembled my bed frame and put everything back in its original place with care. Alfredo, the head installer, noticed that I had a missing threshold in another part of my house. He took and old piece of laminate, cut it, and glued it in place, all free of charge. We came here specifically looking for "Provenza" Luxury Vinyl Floors and wanted to take a look in person. Sue greeted us immediately and she was so helpful and knowledgable and patiently answered our many, many questions (multiple visits). We also needed new carpeting in our 4 bedrooms. Sue let us take samples home so we could see how the various colors looked at different times of the day and this really helped us finalize our decision. I needed extra help because the person I had contacted to help me pack up came down with Covid. If you want excellent customer service, a large selection of carpet, wood floors, and tile, I highly recommend Drakes carpets. Recently purchased new carpet for my whole house. Unfortunately after it was installed I did not care for the carpet at all. I contacted Drakes and talked with the Robert's sister just to confirm what I ordered was what I got. It was. I expressed my concerns and she said Robert would call me on Saturday, he called promptly Saturday morning and said he would out on Tuesday to look at carpet and address my concerns. Tuesday morning Robert called and said he had contacted the manufacturer and after explaining my concerns they agreed to replace the carpet at no cost as long as I choose something of equal or lesser value. I returned to Drakes, choose a different type of carpet and it was installed this past week. Love the new carpet! The original carpet was good quality but not to my liking for a variety of reasons. This is exceptional customer service! The installers were excellent, arrived on time, did an excellent job (both times) and left no mess. Had Robert not gone the extra mile and contacted the manufacturer. who gave a 30 day guarantee on their products, I would not have received replacement of my original carpet choice, Thank you to everyone at Drakes carpets! Drakes installed carpet for my home office and I could not be happier. They gave me the lowest bid. A contractor wanted double what Drakes offered. Home Depot would cost a little more but the wait would have been twice as long for them to get the stuff from the East Coast! They have been in business for half a century. So, unlike the contractor or Home Depot where you many not be talking to someone who knows carpet, Robert knows what he is talking about. And, the workers came and did the work quickly and left no mess. Bottomline: best knowledge, good speed, good work, lowest price. Drakes is absolutely the best. I wouldn't ever go anywhere else. They have installed my carpet in 1983, 2001, and 2014. Each time the quality is superb, Robert is very, very helpful in choosing carpet types, colors, and patterns. He is very honest about what choices are best. I was given the name of Drake's carpet from another source. From the time I walked through the door - Robert was very helpful. He asked what it was I needed and I explained that I wanted a silver colored laminate flooring but not too rustic ( kind of Old World ) He proceeded to pull out several silver laminate floorings and knew exactly what I wanted. He came over to the house and measured the following day. What service!! All was ordered and we are scheduled for installation within a week.
