When I stumbled upon Linda's facility, I knew it was perfect and when there was finally an opening I was elated! The facility has much of what you could ask for. It's one of the few pasture options in North County San Diego, has a small/large arena option, individual pastures with covered stalls for when it rains, tack rooms, wash racks, etc. and they are able to cater services to exactly what your horse needs! It was perfect for us and I am so relieved I can retire my horse and still see her often. Since boarding my horse there for the past year, she has had a few health issues, which Linda and her staff have gladly helped accommodate giving medications, monitoring her progress, and even assisting with moving to a dry lot pasture as she could no longer handle the grass. I can tell all the staff truly care for my horse and want to ensure she is healthy and happy, which is worth more than anything, especially since I don't see her everyday. They have around 5 seperate beautiful pastures and they are really good at knowing which one your horse would fit into best. They really care about each horse and even will individually feed your horse his/her supplements as needed in a seperate paddock each day for no extra charge. They spread the hay out in the pasture so that even the timid horses get plenty of food to eat. All the horses are in good shape and healthy. She has the farrier out around every 10 weeks to trim the horses feet and the vet out twice a year to give them there shots. You don't have to be there, you just get a bill in the mail! My Gypsy Vanner gelding has been there since he was 9 months old and he is just over 3 years now. I'm going to feel guilty taking him away from all his horse buddies so that he can be trained and ridden!
