Originally being from Dearborn, I love all Middle Eastern food/drinks so I come here instead of making a long drive from the east side to Dearborn. They have a wide selection of bread, yogurt and cheeses which is what I also go here for. I used to go to the 18 Mile Rd location, but the cashiers there are so rude!! Will never go there again! This store is always clean, tight on space but manageable if you go early in the morning! read more

Went to eat in the same complex and had dessert in the same plaza. It's surprisingly big inside. Fancy flares in the produce area. Has everything a basic grocery store would have, but by the pounds grains and beans and dried ingredients. Some mold one the coconuts and some of the produce was a bit soft and close to their demise. Cute little apples and moon grapes. They sell Skittles candles, had no idea they even made them at all. I bought some rose water and some Pantene shampoo, both were inexpensive. Pickled veggies and olives. I wasn't sure how clean things were since seeing the state of the coconut and other produce items looking a bit aged. I felt okay sticking to things that had a long shelf life and isn't required to meet the fresh status. read more

I usually go to the 18 Mile Road one but when I am near I come here too. Dream Market is just great overall and I live far but it's so worth the drive. You can't get fresh items in Lexington Michigan like this Market at all. People where I live will tell you bagged lettuce is fresh lettuce that's why I choose to go to Markets like this one. Hopefully one day in the future they will open a store in Port Huron Fort Gratiot or somewhere on Lakeshore Road. A lot of people live up north these days and we need a Market like this one.Love the fresh bread daily. read more

This is the Middle Eastern version of your local supermarket. Not to be confused with Dream Dollar (sister company), this is a supermarket with reasonable prices, and some of the best fresh made brick oven bread you'll find. I came in here looking for some medicine, but they did not have any. I guess they are selective on what they sell here so you may not find a certain item that you're looking for. My other main concern was when I was taking photos of their fish & meat section, to post on Yelp, I was told that I couldn't do that. I had explained that I was going to review their store, and the employee did not want that. So, I have a funny feeling something shady is going on here (or at least in their fish & meat department). So they post weekly ads on FB this sale ad was for on 2/14/2023 - 2/16/2023. A couple of instances they are ALWAYS sold out of their Sale Items for example; they had chicken wings on sale for .99 a pound, I go in, they are sold out, I ask , sorry , check the other store, I go the other store, they're sold out. Another, they have EXTRA large eggs 2 bxs for $5 , Going to work I get there 8 am on the first sale day, a cpl of ladies were there also asking about eggs, they were told were sold out @ 8 am IN THE MORNING , they were barely open, I posted comments on FB about the situation and they kept removing the comment, the 3rd time I posted a comment, they responded with we are sorry, we checked with the department and the eggs are available and as I was responding to theIr response they remove the WHOLE POST AND BAN ME FROM COMMENTING, I CAN SEE THEIR ADD BUT CAN NOT COMMENT !! Has become a monthly staple as they sell unique produce and have solid bread and great desserts. They even sell restaurant grade garlic sauce at a fraction of the costs. This fact alone makes it worth the trip for me. However, they also have some solid salads, and even sell hot entrees in the back. Another cool fact is that this place has an aisle devoted to turkish delight. All in all, if you are fan of middle eastern fare and happen to pass by this place, you should definitely make a stop, even it if it is just to look. read more

Had a nightmare of a customer service.I had a nightmarish experience at the market with the most disrespectful cashiers. They insisted I pay a price I couldn't afford, treating me with utter disdain. To make matters worse, they threatened to involve the police simply because I couldn't pay for something I didn't want. It was a humiliating and unjust ordeal. The cashiers went to the extreme, attempting to coerce me into paying for an item I no longer wanted, all while I was at the register. My grandmother went to Dream Market and bought some groceries from them. They cheated her when they added her family size potato chips to the bill, which were 2 bags for $0.99. Instead, they charged her 2 bags for $1.45 then charged her again for the second bag at the same price. Original price was $2.49 and they refused to correct it. When my grandmother tried to get the manager to go back to where they were to show him the price, he refused to go. So no one would confirm the correct price and no one would update the cost or refund. Actually. This store contains a lot of different materials. They are sold at a rather high price. Lots of items that interest customers. But what is interesting is that its expiration date is very close. The most I felt was the poor quality of the food being sold. It's grilled chicken. It is often sold to the customer even if it was cooked the day before. Where it is reheated and becomes unsuitable for eating. and dry. Roasted edible chicken is tender and delicious. As for the store a day earlier, and sometimes two days, it is dry and as if it were fibers. I contacted them more than once to avoid selling unsold chicken That is not sold for the next day. but they don't care. read more

In terms of keeping the place clean, they have a long long way to go. In terms of customer service, according to the Canadian or American standards, it's almost absent. However, the place have some cool authentic merchandise, that you won't find anywhere else in the states. By authentic, I mean items from the middle-east and specifically from Iraq. In terms of deals, you'll find some good deals and massive savings here and there..but if there is no sale, then prices are not the best and might be higher than other places. Fresh, stone fired breads every 5 minutes!! Homemade pizzas, and every type of Arabic food you can imagine! When my mother-in-law and aunts dont feel like slaving in the kitchen for 6 hours, they buy the food here. This place is our go-to almost daily. If you've never been here you must go! NOW! Dream Market is one of my favorite places to shop. They have a large produce section with tons of different things that other grocery stores don't carry. They actually have many products you wouldn't normally see at any other grocery store. It's focused on the Halal or Arabic or Chaldean ethnicities, however, don't let this scare you off... They do carry many American favorites, but what I love is trying something new and out of the norm. They also have a wide selection of meats and dried beans, and grains, nuts..etc.. During the Covid19 crisis, I frequented Dream Market and they were ALWAYS fully stocked! I'd rather go here than Kroger, Meijer, Walmart or other chains...prices are somewhat less expensive here as well. Give them your business! read more

Very crowded and dirty there should be someone sweeping the floors at all times from the amount of shoppers there are. Be prepared to be accused of stealing. Make sure to not come in the store with a white bag. You will have to leave in the middle of your shopping to go put the bag in your car. There are many unattended empty cars left all over the store. Highly recommend them being cleaned up. Some of the vegetables and fruit are not in the best shape. I do love the middle eastern variety of food options and spices. read more

I ordered 30 kabobs from dream market. About 5 family's got diarrhea (the ones that specifically ate the kabobs). The people that did not eat the kabobs were fine the next day. First and last time ever going to this place. The place is a disaster, super crowded during COVID, and hardly any EMPLOYEES were masked properly. The two BAKING the bread literally had no masks or gloves. Yet they took my temperature when I came in- I have no problem with that but at least follow the protocols inside. I had lots of good experiences at this store, while having some bad experiences as well. For my good experience, they offer some deals at such prices that cannot be found anywhere else. However, their meats are not 100% halal, although they call everything halal. I think their understanding of halal is based on 'If it it is not pork, then it is halal'. Usually, it looks like their lamb products are halal, but if they are from new zeeland or australia. If the lamb is domestic, not sure if they are really halal or not. Other than the meats, they have hot ready to eat foods and cold appetizers. I thought they were made fresh in house. However, I realzied that they just sell grape leaves from cans as an open items and they charge triple price when they sell them open by pound. This is a terrible service. Also, they sell 4 falafels for $1 which is very cheap, and a falagfel sandwich with 2 falafels and little salad in a fresh iraqi bread for $1, which is incredible price, but there is no taste in their felafels. I will go again for their grocery items with crazy deals, but will pass all of their ready to eat foods, and be extra cautious with buying meat, as they offer great deals on meat, but will make sure the meat is really halal. This is a Mediterranean grocery supermarket that sells cooked Mediterranean and Middle Eastern meals that will satisfy your hunger for kabab, falafel, etc. They prepare a lot of Arabic delicacies and halawah. They sell fresh meat and poultry products but definitely no pork produce. You may get pork products from Khim Nhung store or other Chinese stores. They have vegetables and spices from the Middle East, Sub Indian continent and the Mediterranean. I would love to come here often... however, in the meat section where you would see these guys who cut meat or fish before serving the customers, i always notice that they have this racial discrimination when it comes to service... these guys would give the best products to Arabs only and would only provide less or non-preferred meat products to non-Arabs.... they would give more on-sale meat products to Arabs than those of non-Arabs... they prefer to serve the Arab speaking customers more.... I found this place by accident I was I surprised what a great place to go for any of those specialty items you need especially when you're making Middle Eastern food, I went to the prepared food Counter I was in shock to see how many people were waiting in line to buy this food, To start there's a line just for the fresh bread i've never seen anything like it the whole time I was there and people were lined up to get this fresh bread that came out of the oven. And it was fantastic!!! The prepared food counter at all the things that I love but they are difficult to make. The quality and the taste of the food was fantastic I felt like I was just at my friends moms house and she cooked the greatest meal for me!!!! I don't know how they do it and how they keep up with so many great dishes in the demand of the people was amazing to see. The most surprising thing of all is the price so reasonably priced it was amazing. It's also a great place if you're going to event and if you want a last-minute appetizer they make trays to order for you, again at a fantastic price.
