Great place! The inside is well kept and cleaned. They have bathrooms available to the public and handicap parking. The employees are very nice. My friend and I showed up about 20 minutes before closing time and we sat outside in their little picnic area. At about 10:10pm (10 minutes after their closing time), a group of people walked up to the door and opened it. They didn't realize they had already closed but the employees invited them in! I thought that was very kind of them I have gotten the nitrogen ice cream and it was very cool!! This time I got something different. The sizes are regular and large - with about a dollar price difference. Looking back, I definitely should have gotten the large. The regular was pretty tiny for $7 which was a bummer. Ok first off. Don't read the garbage posts about wall colors and paintings, if you don't like the charm of a place that's fine. That doesn't merit one star. Personally I find the charm not my taste but I overlook all of that cuz I like the independent shop feel. The ice cream here is either standard flavors (Michigan pothole, Superman.. etc..) or homemade. The homemade stuff she makes in front of you fresh. With food grade nitrogen. It was very good. We will be back. The service was great, she is friendly and patient. She explained our questions well. The price, personally I think it was not too bad. Especially when you consider that she's making it fresh in front of you. Not "in the back". I'll leave you with, you cannot expect good or great food/service at a cheap price anymore. Went here with my little family because I was cravings ice cream especially because I was pregnant. The location has a lot of parking and inside the store had plenty of seating. They had different varieties of ice, smoothie, and bake food to choose from. The service was very friendly and even though they messed up on my order, I got a free ice cream out of it so it was okay. We just happened to stumble upon this creamery as we were driving through the parking lot on an 85 degree day and decided to make a pit stop for some ice cream. Seeing the huge nitrogen tanks through the window looked intriguing so we knew we had to give it a try. The menu board catches your eye as you walk in and it's bright and easy to read and laid out like a periodic table. It made for an easy decision and was a simple ordering process. It was interesting to watch them make the ice cream using the liquid nitrogen. Yes, it does take more time for them to make your order because it's not just scooping ice cream out of a large container. This ice cream is made fresh to order using that liquid nitrogen to freeze the mixture. It freezes so quickly that ice crystals don't have time to form and it made for a creamy, thick and rich cup of ice cream. I tried a regular size (which was a generous portion) of chocolate ice cream and Heath pieces for the topping. It was quite filling to say the least. My wish would be to maybe have a kiddie size for small portion eaters like myself or for the little ones. The inside decor was simple yet very modern looking with light blue walls, blue sparkly floors and blue chairs with white tables. On our way out we had a quick chat with them and they just opened in the beginning of July, 2017, so they're very new. They have a fun concept and it's definitely unlike any other ice cream place I've ever visited. Having fresh made to order ice cream using liquid nitrogen really was a 'cool' process. Neat place! The kids loved it. And so did My husband and I. All the employees were super nice. They were out of the fruit loop dragon breath, but offered to substitute a mixture of other kinds for my son. He decided against it and went with the vanilla ice cream and cupcake bites. I got chocolate ice cream, caramel and pretzels. Hubby got chocolate ice cream, peanut butter cups and chocolate syrup. My niece, who has been here before, got the strawberry dragon breath with chocolate sauce. Everything was delicious! The ice cream is extra creamy, and oh so good! Everyone has to try the dragon breath at least once. It's hilarious to see the cold smoke coming out when you're not outside in the harsh MI winter. We will definitely be back! So happy to see this fun place come to the Sterling Heights area!! There's just something about nitrogen based creameries that make the ice cream so creamy and delicious. We got the Nutella and biscoff ones and both were good but the biscoff was the crowd favorite for us. The Nutella was good but the top was little too much but the bottom part tastes just like a Ferrero rocher. Let me preface this review by saying I've never had anything in this place... why? Because it wasn't open when it was supposed to be. When I found it on Yelp, it indicated it was open. I also checked Google, and it read, "Open from 2-9 PM Today". Today is Friday, April 5, 2019. We arrived at 5:30, and there was a hand-written sign on the door that read, "Closed for the day... Will open back up tomorrow!" See the pic I posted. Now, we didn't drive 50 miles to get to this place, but it wasn't around the corner either. It was annoying to find it closed. I understand there are times when businesses have to close due to unforeseen circumstances. I get it. However, I noticed another Yelp reviewer mention they were closed during posted business hours. So, clearly this has happened before. Most customers are turned off by businesses with erratic, unpredictable hours; it's inconsiderate. It's also an inconvenience to make a trip to a place and find it closed when it should be open. Based on my experience today, it's unlikely that I'll make a return trip. read more

We discovered this place yesterday by accident, it was around 12 and the places we normally visit for ice cream were all closed. It is very clean and welcoming inside. They have many choices from soft serve, gelato, hard scooped, and even nitro icecream. The hardest part was deciding on what to get. I got the hazelnut/Nutella ice cream and it was so good. Wow! This place really blew me away. We have a place like this back in NM but iFreeze is a lot cheaper and has a lot more options. I changed it up a bit on my visit here and had the dragons breath instead of trying an ice cream. I kind of had no idea what this was, but in the end I was not disappointed. Dragons breath are the equivalent of nitrogen frozen fruit puffs. They are Cheeto like in texture. The cool thing is that every time you snap down on one of these bad boys and breath out, you blow out smoke from the cold. I felt like a kid again!
