I stopped in today for lunch to go and I was very impressed with my panini and the pastasio latte was amazing. I rarely order flavored lattes because they are usually way too sweet for my taste. When I ordered my pastasio latte I asked for it not to be sweet, and it was perfect. For food I ordered the mozzarella and tomato panini which was served on a tangy sourdough bread. The cheese was good quality and very melted, which I appreciate because a lot of the times you get a panini with the cheese barely melted. I also had a lavender latte and was disappointed that it wasn't purple as expected from the pictures. The Hummus Avocado Toast is amazing - sourdough bread, creamy hummus/avocado spread and topped with seeds and chickpeas. Great variation from the usually avocado toast. Service was quick and the staff is quiet friendly - this toast was recommended to me by a staff member! The star of the show is the location itself. They have a backyard area where you can sit, with plenty of tables, and solo tables and chairs that make it feel natural. Great place for a casual date, catch up with friends, or to go by yourself and read a book/work/study. Definitely recommend trying out this spot. read more

The drink I got was pretty average, and on the pricy side for a small cuppa latte. ~ Pistachio Latte ~ I am slightly disappointed by the drink, as the pistachio flavour is not that strong and I tasted almond?? I am not a big fan of the taste of almond. If they lose the almond flavour / extract, I might find it more pleasant. But the latte itself is pretty nice though. I am no expert of coffee, but it tasted quite different from the traditional ones, with a hint of Middle Eastern twist. Will I be back? Great local coffee/cafe with a really home-like vibe inside. I think this place could be an apartment but nice that it's a cafe for the public to enjoy. Service is good and you can seat yourself which makes it easy. The bowls like the smoked salmon and Mediterranean bowls are a nice and healthy way to get some greens in and some carbs. The drinks are also good as well...the lavendar latte was refreshing and the regular latte was a typical work of art. The bowls, plates and cups all matched the interior decor which was also a nice touch. Got a chance to visit Dream Vista over the weekend and it sure was a lovely cafe. Entrance was cute with its shades of blue and white but the indoor seating was a little dark and lonely despite the whimsical patterns on the walls. Probably because of the lighting that day, not sure, so we decided to go ahead and sit outdoors. Going straight to the food, my order of avocado toast with poached egg was just okay. It was a bit sour for my liking i guess maybe because of the peppers. I did enjoy hubster's order or Tuna Sandwich, and the tuna actually made my toast better lol for drinks I got the blue matcha. It really just tasted like milk which is what I "needed" that day. I didnt expect much from it, i knew i wanted to check out its blue color but for the taste, i kinda get that it wont be like my usual preference with coffee. It had no caffeine so it was really the main reason for ordering it. I finished it nonetheless as it was a cute drink despite the lack of flavor lol the pistachio latte was just ok from me as well. There were babies & dogs so you've got to be okay with both to hang here. The other half of us were coworking or having meetings. There is a back patio. Great spot! I went with my friend to try them out since we've been to Cafe Vista and we had such a great experience, we wanted to see how this place was. We have no complaint here, the ambience and decor is so nice, very clean, they have a back em yard to seat hit it was way too cold for us to sit outside lol. We had a lentil soup, with croissant and some eggs with a side of cake, so delicious! I've also ordered a pistachio latte which was AMAZING! Really enjoyed visiting this location! The spot is close to the train station and close to the waterfront as well which is awesome & convenient! The store itself is roomy with a good amount of indoor seating and a yard in the back with tons of outdoor seating! That's got to honestly be my favorite bit. "The good, the bad, and the ugly" The place is absolutely beautiful and the cold brew is quite tasty! (the good) The blue matcha (pictured) did not taste like matcha AT ALL. It might as well have been called blue milk. Honestly it might have tasted better if ordered hot. Also, the egg sandwich I ordered was so embarrassing that I didn't even want to take a picture of it. (the bad) We then asked the barista if he could add more matcha powder and he said it wouldn't change the taste of the drink... maybe I'm crazy but matcha powder is what makes a drink taste like matcha?? Jersey City sure is stepping its game up with the coffee shops because this one was an extremely dreamy, vintage, and home like cafe. We ordered the pistachio latte ($5.50) & blue matcha ($6.50). I really wish the lattes were up to par with their presentations. I live right down the street from Dream Vista, which was formally Vogue Cafe, and was delighted when I found out something was opening in this space. It's awesome to have great breakfast offerings and a cute hangout spot so close to me! I've been here twice since they opened and have very much enjoyed my drinks each time. The dalgona coffee is delicious and a unique menu offering compared to the standard cold brew and lattes at other coffee spots. Iced lattes are really good here as well. I also tried the avocado toast, which was tasty although a bit difficult to eat as the bread is on the crunchier side. The welcoming interior decor and big backyard are a huge bonus. This is a great spot to catch up with friends or even to go on a date as there's ample seating. Highly recommend checking out Dream Vista when visiting the neighborhood! read more

I went out of my way to check this place out between appointments in the area. I'm always looking to support businesses in JC but was so disapointed in this cafe. I saw they closed at 5pm, but managed to get there exactly at 4pm, which meant there was at least an hour left before they closed. I never expect businesses to continue functioning until 4:59pm, but even with an hour left, several of the staff members were rude to me. I saw there were still patrons sitting inside and the business was open at 4pm, so I walked in and ordered a blue matcha latte and a couple of pastries. Before I even had a chance to glance at the food menu behind the counter (which has things like avocado toast and sandwiches) the girl at the register looked at me with a serious face and said "we're not serving food, we close at five"...okay fair enough, I was literally just glancing at the menu and wasn't going to order food anyways. When I did order a few pastries that were on display, she asked if I wanted it warmed, but still gave it to me COLD. I had asked my coffee to stay because I had seen the cute serving cups, but my beverage was still given to me in a white plastic to-go container with no latte art or the dried rose petals. I sat at a table and sipped my drink and ate part of the cold pastry, but felt like any moment, a staff member would approach me and tell me to leave even though it was 4:10pm. I know staff are usually weary of people who show up five minutes beore close and act entittled, but I showed up an hour before and was treated so badly and rushed. If they want to leave at 5pm, then they should close the door and officially close their hours at 4pm. Because I paid 25 dollars for a watery to-go matcha latte and two cold, pastries whether it's an hour before close, or 10am.
