Review for Sprinkler Management Dream Yards / Mark I've been trying to resolve a sprinkler issue since March 18, and unfortunately, my experience with this company has been extremely frustrating. I first contacted Mark, who sent someone out the next day. They told my boyfriend (who met them at the house) that everything looked fine--but the system continued to leak. I followed up with Mark on March 25 and sent photos as requested. He came by on March 26, told my boyfriend that pressure at the heads and meter looked good, but agreed that something still wasn't right. He said he'd be back to investigate further. When I didn't hear anything, I texted again on April 3. He replied saying he'd come take a look, but never showed. I reached out once more on May 16, asking for one last chance to make it right--especially since I believe it's under warranty. He apologized and said he'd be out that week. Again, no follow-up. It's been over two months of empty promises and delays. This lack of communication and follow-through is incredibly unprofessional. I wanted to give them every chance to make it right, but based on this experience, I can't recommend this company. read more

I had Dream Yards put rock landscaping over my whole yard. The curbs in my neighborhood are sloped into the street and I figured it would need edging. Dream Yards did not want to put edging around and now my yard is falling into the street and weed are growing all along the edges. I paid a good amount for this work and now I have to hire someone else to fix it. I did call Mark about the edging and he said it didn't need it. I asked him to at least have edging done on the side of my house when my yard meets the green belt. They came out but the edging is 5 feet too short and they just left it like that. I calls Mark about it but never heard from anyone. The new company I hired showed me how the barrier under the rocks wasn't even done to the edge which is why weeds are growing along the edges. I now have to pay to have the rocks moved back to be able to add barrier and nail down (which Dream Yards did not do) and spread out. I really don't like being ripped off and conned. There is nothing good I can say about Dream Yards. read more

I felt completely dismissed and as if I wasn't worth their time with Dream Yards. It took almost a month to get an answer for a leaking part on a sprinkler system they installed last year. The system has been inoperable because of a heavy leak. I asked him to come and look at it. After several texts and reminders, he told me a tech cleaned it but it's still leaking. At that point, he offered nothing. I sent another text asking if it is covered, can I get an estimate. His reply, "It's not covered and the estimate is about $499-$599." With no explanation from him or details, I asked if he could send me an estimate. His text response was , "Part $350 labor $100-$50." And that was it. From a company as this, I expected an estimate with a breakdown, problem, parts, etc. I got a 5 second text that showed how much time he'd actually put into my concerns. That was unacceptable, as I'd given them thousands of dollars and my business just last year. I will never, and do not, recommend them. Their follow up service is beyond unacceptable! And I still have a system I can't use! read more

Dream Yards was great! We had an incredible pool, but the surrounding yard didn't do the pool justice. We also had a big, ugly pool pump in the yard that was an eyesore. Mark had an incredible vision for our backyard. He and his crew covered our horrible pump with a nice lattice work cover with star jasmine. He also added some great trees to add some eventual privacy. The best feature that he and his crew added was the stone steps by our pool- the previous landscaper had a less than satisfactory brick retainer. Mark had the vision to create an amazing staircase that made access to the side yard a breeze. The yard just looks amazing and we are excited to entertain in our backyard once it warms up! Mark came out and gave us a bid to to xeriscape our back yard. I showed him a plan that we drew up but Mark re-drew and improved upon it. He worked with me to get the project within budget and we are so happy with the results. He enlarged the patio, created stone and paver walkways and installed turf to replace the "water hungry" grass. Our neighbors love the new yard and one of them asked Mark to work on his yard. We love sitting out on our new patio and watching the golfers on the course - adjacent to our new patio/yard. read more

Mark the owner ( great guy)came out and gave us an estimate we scheduled the start date for landscaping and sprinkler job. The job was about 15k they did a great job . I heard about this company from a friend and I also looked them up on Angie's list and home advisor including BBB. I could not find one negative reason why I shouldn't hire these guys. After 6 different bids I knew these were the guys. We scheduled a start date and they were punctual and finished on time and budget. These guys were awesome they cleaned up so well we couldn't even noticed any construction took place. If there's one company that you can count on it is these guys. These guys are great and the quality of the material was phenomenal I could not compare it to no other contractor I've had in my property . We have the front yard project for spring and you bet I'm going to hire these guys again. All our neighbors have got their number and 2 of them have scheduled work for the spring . I really want to say Thank You. We are very impressed how smooth the process was and love every minute that we spend in the New backyard. I contacted Dream Yards December 2019 for a quote on getting my water feature in the backyard fixed. The pump had stopped working and back when it did work, the water feature would lose water. Mark came out and provided me multiple quotes. I just wanted my fountain to work again and retain its water. We agreed on a price and they began work in January 2020. My first impression when the job was done was that everything was done great. I left the fountain running for a few hours and noticed that it was still losing water. After about 6 hours of the fountain running about 80% of the water was gone. I spoke to Mark about the issue and mentioned that I was going to cancel the check until the work is done. He came by a few times and tried a few different things and mentioned that the leak is due to a bad liner, which was supposed to be replaced when they did the work initially. Instead of fixing the issue, they tried some band aids by spraying black sealant on the fountain to prevent leaking and it looked hideous. I told him that was unacceptable, and they came back and fixed it and sprayed a clear sealant this time. Fountain would still lose water after hours of running and at the end they installed a liner over my existing liner, and it looks terrible. They used some sort of tape around the edges and it's loose. At this point they were more focused on getting the project done and not on doing it correctly. I wouldn't recommend them to anyone. There were also a few times when he mentioned he would stop by to work on it but wouldn't show up. read more

Mark came out to evaluate my requirements and give us a bid. The work was performed on schedule and for the agreed upon amount. They did a great job adding an outside water line. (I had been watering plants and animals with my softened water.) They also did a tune-up on my sprinkler system which needed nearly every sprinkler head adjusted to some degree.
