TravelTrust…read moreattributed my airline miles to the wrong account so I didn't get "credit" for an overseas flight...a considerable amount of mileage. I asked them for THREE MONTHS to correct their mistake and the consistent response from their employee, Tom, was "I'm working on it." As it turned out, Tom never "worked on" a damned thing; he NEVER contacted the airline, let alone tried to fix anything...the airline verified this. He couldn't have fixed it if he wanted to because, as the airline pointed out, he couldn't have corrected the error without having my home contact information; TravelTrust never had, and never asked for, my home address. If Tom really had tried to correct his screw up, he would have known this; he was OBVIOUSLY lying. After at least six calls to the airline I managed to fix it myself. Unsurprisingly, Tom got a VERY nasty phone call from me; I do not appreciate having one of our vendors lie to me...to say the least. Yet instead of apologizing to me for their employee LYING TO ME for three months, one of TravelTrust's VP's had the nerve to complain to my employer about the language I used with worthless, LYING Tom. The BALLS on these people!! Well, that tactic backfired on them. I'd gotten the miles fixed and was willing to let it go, but when TravelTrust "ratted" on me, they ratted on themselves as well. When I explained to my employer WHY I "cussed out" Lying Tom, they were as appalled as I was so we stopped using TravelTrust; they clearly have no integrity. I do NOT recommend using TravelTrust--we don't anymore--because they are INCOMPETENT LIARS.

This would be our first trip together outside of hitting the open road and we were looking for someone to make sure it was done right. We struck gold coming across Laila and could not have asked for more. Our trip included a wide range of activities to include diving, zip-lining and a luau. Accommodations were carefully chosen to give our family the most comfortable stay we could have. Fast forward to the Fall of '22 and we were in planning for a 2 week European Vacation over Spring Break '23. Laila was extremely attentive and energetic throughout our planning and had so many great ideas that we had no doubt we would get the best experience possible. Honest discussions helped us to hone in on what tours and attractions would best suit our family and I think we nailed it. Her estimates were spot on and we were not caught off guard by any cost adjustments or fees. When the time to leave for our trip came close, we ran into some snags that started to wear down on us. Strikes and protests in areas we were set to travel began to cast doubt that our trip would be a success and then I was alerted by our airlines that our outgoing flight was canceled. Just days before departure! I immediately reached out to Laila and she responded rapidly at an hour I wouldn't expect anyone to be up reading emails. She was able to find out what caused our cancellation, confirm an alternate departure flight and prevent us from losing a few days on the trip we thought wouldn't be possible. During our trip, her service only grew better. She kept communications with us and was kind enough to make sure we arrived at our destinations on time. We were even welcomed by a lovely gift from Laila in our room that was honestly a highlight of our trip as it reaffirmed us that we had been well taken care of and our enjoyment was firsthand. We are a family of 4 in our mid 30's and I understand that not many people my age reach out to travel agents. I do not think I could have confidently created a trip this enjoyable and stress-free on my own while tending to my normal day-to-day. Laila has my highest recommendation and we will continue to use her services for future vacations. Thanks, Laila!

I've lived here my entire life and have never been whale watching but have always wanted to,…read morehowever it's just not an experience I'd typically consider splashing out on for myself (**spoiler alert - my visit was less than two weeks ago and immediately after disembarking I told my husband I wanted to get on another tour stat!) For Christmas, my husband's aunt gifted tickets to our entire extended family to enjoy a whale watching tour together so we finally landed on a date and it was an awesome experience from start to finish. We arrived about 15 minutes early for our 9:30am boarding time, checked in at the kiosk and were given paper tickets to be handed over to the crew as we came aboard. Once onboard, we were introduced over the speaker to the captain and crew and given a quick rundown of the itinerary and safety procedures. We navigated through the harbor where we spotted our local sea lion neighbors basking in the sun which especially delighted the kids and the out-of-town/state passengers, sailed out of the harbor and into the open sea. It was a pleasantly calm morning with hardly any wind and very smooth sailing. The only slight downside was that it was a particularly gray morning, so there was little distinction between the color of the ocean versus the sky but it was very clear and we could see for a long distance. We got probably close to halfway through our two-hour tour without any sightings but once we were about 5 miles off the coast, we started hearing transmissions between the crew over their walkies so we knew to start keeping our eyes peeled. The next half hour or so was spent watching three beautiful fin whales take turns coming up for air, swimming under the boat, rolling playfully and showing their light-colored bellies. It was so fun to be able to move about the boat freely to try to get the best view, some photos and videos, while being filled in by the crew on interesting marine facts. Finally the whales took their deep dives, at which point we were informed they wouldn't be coming back up for air for a while and it was about time to head back. The cruise back was equally smooth as the adventure out, and we got in right on time and prepared to disembark but not before getting coupons for a future expedition and adorable fin whale stickers to commemorate our tour. I can't WAIT to go on another whale watching tour with Oceanside Adventures - it was the best time!! I would 100000% recommend.
