I've been to this studio for over a year and I've taken a lot of their classes on different days and with different teachers. I've been able to find a few classes that I enjoy that fit with my schedule. I started at this studio when I first began my yoga practice. The beginner class (really, beginner plus) with Rachel on Wednesdays is the class I started with and is a fav of mine across all studios I've frequented. I also really like the Sunday morning class with Gaby. I recently took the Advanced Yogi Playtime class taught by Rachel, and it is the class I look forward to most! It's on Tuesday nights.

My first Opus class was with Sharon, the owner, who is experienced, knowledgeable, enthusiastic, warm and lots of fun. Her emphasis on alignment and personal attention hooked me. At first, I was reluctant to take classes from anyone else because she was such a perfect fit, yet, after a while, I did try other teachers (some trained by Sharon) and found that there were many skilled teachers at Opus. With Sharon's expert leadership, she has hired and set the tone for a well rounded group of people teaching varied styles, types and levels of yoga practice. It's a small welcoming studio - well worth a thirty minute drive from my home.

It's a small room so be sure to sign up for the classes online or using their app! We had maybe 10 people and I felt crowded. I was told they'll accept maybe 20-25 people though I don't know where they'll go to fit comfortably! I found this place from a friend and because I got a groupon deal with her. Started off in a beginners class by Dawna. She was great! Super attentive, explained everything in detail and made you feel welcomed. I learned so much even though this wasn't my first time! She corrected my basic poses and it will help me for future classes! I'll definitely be here again and step up my game! They have a ton of different levels offered and convenient times! I can't wait to meet other instructors or even stick to the same! If she teaches a higher level.

This studio had been my home for many years, until I became an instructor myself. They then welcomed me back as a teacher, which was an incredible honor- to teach at the very same studio where I began to fall in love with the practice of yoga. I highly recommend this studio. While I no longer teach here due to distance, I love all the other instructors and the classes they offer! The entire staff is cognizant of and involved in social justice, diversity, and inclusivity and are passionate about connecting with each student to create a welcoming environment. Love this place!

They remember you by name and work extremely hard to make sure each yogi feels welcomed and supported. The class offerings are perfect timing for working professionals and the location is convenient and extremely clean. I honestly wasn't sure how I'd feel about sweating in 105 degrees for an hour, but it has been a transformative and life changing experience. I feel more confident, peaceful, and overall my mood is much more even. I find myself going as much as possible and relishing in the heated classroom. I have never walked away from classes feeling so rejuvenated after working so hard and each little improvement to my postures makes me feel over the moon. I want to sincerely thank Bikram Yoga Rockville for inviting me into the community and becoming a truly integral part of my well-being. Thank you from the bottom of my heart and 12/10 HIGHLY RECOMMEND P.S. Bikram Yoga offerings are tried and true but David's Core class on Sundays is SO good, abs never felt so strong! Natalya teaches a slow flow yoga that makes you feel all tingly inside and Diana never ceases to make you both laugh and smile inside (maybe cry a few good tears too). They also offer amazing pop-up classes (see pic of me in Yin Yoga, literally in sheer bliss!) Each teacher is unique but their dedication and care shines through! Just drop-in or do a new yogi special for two weeks! You WILL NOT REGRET IT.

The awesome facilities, the comraderie, and the variety of classes and teachers keep me coming back year after year! The teachers get to know you and genuinely care about your success and health. They keep things fresh with fun themes, music, and pop-up events and workshops, but they also offer traditional posture classes throughout the week if that's your vibe too. Or, you can do them ALL. (all is good!) My best physical self and mental health always includes frequent classes at Bikram Yoga Rockville. I come here right after work as I head north on 270--you can see it from traffic! So why not pop in and pass rush hour in zen instead?

I started with only once a week and noticed a difference from just that! It turned out to be such a pleasant surprise. The classes and instructors are amazing. They were able to guide and help me manage my pain, stress and sleep schedule. It's truly been a transformation both mentally and physically. I never regret spending an hour in a class here because I always feel better after. If you are looking for the western ideas of "yoga" and running through a bunch of poses, this is not the place. The classes focus more on meditation and linking the mind and body.

The "trial" session was a bit odd but I chalked it up to being based in Eastern medicine and told myself to keep an open mind. Came back for one class- which did not contain any yoga at all, and instead a lot of jumping and poking of the bellybutton with a stick. Something didn't sit right with me, and this was enforced by getting a bizarre email the next day from the manager, Anita, saying that she received word from corporate she was to report immediately to a different branch in Colorado on Monday morning. (The email was sent on a Friday). What kind of organization gives their employees 72 hours to relocate?? Turns out- a cult.
