During all of this Covid way of life finding new salons to actually take the time to ensure what I am looking for has become something of an adventure of sorts. This salon takes appointment only and are usually very accommodating with open schedules and timelines. There is no sitting or waiting for a station to be open, so you have to wait outside until you are called. Everything is very well spaced out, even with plexiglass shields in front of every pedicure station. Staff is all wearing masks to ensure safety of all of their patrons. When you enter there is a questionnaire they make all patrons fill out re: accountability for Covid. I would def recommend - pricing is typical for a nail salon. Staff has always been very friendly. Make sure to tell your technician exactly what type of pedicure of manicure you are looking for, as they usually only do the basic unless asked otherwise. I'm having an issue at this nail shop. I've requested to have my toe nails fixed the same day it was done because the nails and toe base were two different colors. I was told to come back today at 11am. I'm here and I've been waiting for about 45 min. I to have birthday plans which is why I requested to have a refund so I can go else where to get my nails corrected so I'm able to go in about my day in a timely manner and get to my birthday plans. They took me no refunds but they are busy. I could care less how busy you are. I was told 11 to be here and if I paid $180 fucking dollars fix my nails or refund it! Here we are years later and y'all still have the terrible service that y'all had all these years ago if my appointment is at 12 and I tell you I'm coming in there for a pedicure at 12 PM why am I still in the chair at 12:10 and nobody can give me an update of when I'm gonna get in the chair and I did the most absolute pettiest thing. I made another a nail appointment at a different shop while I was in there and guess what my appointment was at 1 o'clock an hour later and I actually got my appointment at 1 o'clock. Y'all are the worst nail salon in North Las Vegas and you know you are and y'all know exactly who I am because I walked out. Y'all have people sitting in the chairs with their feet in the water and yet nobody is in front of them taking care of their feet. That's why you guys appointment times don't make sense. Do not make a website to book appointment if you guys do not obey by the appointments y'all are giving people. The staff is still disrespectful years later and you guys are terribly unprofessional and then I have an appointment and you guys let somebody walk in at 12 o'clock walk-ins do not equivalent to appointments make it make sense and y'all already know if Mother's Day weekend next time y'all need to be prepared when it comes to staffing an appointment. read more

called ahead letting them know i wanted to do a walk in around 6 maybe a bit earlier lady said its fine even went ahead and told her it was gonna be a pedi and manicure and that I could just come back the next day to get the manicure but she said it's fine to come in to get both. don't know the name of the guy that did my pedicure, but he did an amazing job and was very nice. On the other hand Tran was very passive aggressive and rushing the entire process i even told him in person i'll come back tomorrow to get mani since i knew it was getting close to closing but he said its not a problem and yet rushed his work and even left a crooked nail (got home and it's actually two) after i pointed it out instead of fixing it he gassedlighted me saying it should be that way but the other tip (other hand) was perfect. He did a brutal work i even told him i wanted coffin instead got left with ugly square nails with no glitter on top even tho he suggested it and i agreed to it. The other guy finished before Tran and yet after getting transferred to the table he kept rushing it no one should rush their work especially nail service i shouldn't have tipped him. Customer service was the only good thing they had going for themselves. Quality of work ZERO!!! Prices horrible!!!! Pedicure has no options but cost $50... like for what??? This is my first time here at Dreams Nails, I'm from out of town and i had previously before i flew out here. I had gel on my natural nails but they didn't last longer than 3 days. I initially found them on apple maps. But once i seen their Yelp review I wanted to come and try it out. Chi was the one who did my nails and let me tell you she's the most sweetest and soft spoken girl ever. So nice and understanding, I'm a very indecisive person so I've changed my mind like 3-4 times on the design and shape. But i've came to conclusion with this type of design and shape. She did awesome with the shape, it wasn't cricket or too thick etc. It was just perfect. she didn't cut me nor did she drill too hard. Her application for acrylic was so clean and quick. I went here for the first time a few weeks ago, and although the customer service and pedicure was good, I also got a full set which wasn't so good. I asked for shorter nails because of my work, and the right hand was perfect but the left not so much. I'll admit, my bad for not looking closer, but the tips of thr nails were also rough. I get the square look, and they snagged a brand new pair of pantyhose the day after they were done. Not everyone has a good day, I get that, so I went back to give them a second chance when I needed a fill. I made sure to pay attention to length, and again, they did the right hand shorter, so I was trying to convey they need to be shorter on the left hand, but there was a big language barrier; to the point where the girl had to get one of the other nail techs who spoke better English to translate for me. Once that was resolved everything went smoothly, but then when I got home I noticed again how rough the edges were so I had to smooth them out with my own nail tools. Plus, they charged $50 for a fill, which seems kinda high. I was charged the same price for a full set! I went in to get these old acrylics soaked off. A male tech sat down and started buffing the pinky nail as you can see in the picture. Another customer walked in, my tech traded places and a woman sat down. She used a tip to pry my ring finger nail off. I thought she was just loosening it for the soak. When I asked about the soak off, she said no, they do it like this. I said "ma'am, I could've done this at home" and the male tech spoke up saying they would soak them but it would cost $20. First nail salon I went to moving from the Bay Area. Reason I came here was that it was closest to my home. I asked for a new set of French tips and showed the guy how I wanted them to look like and when I saw what he was doing I asked to make the white tip shorter and more oval because in reality it looked like a half white and clear nail. TERRIBLE! Would not come again!! I don't recommend! I had a wedding to go to the day I came here with my daughters. I was in a rush so me and my daughters got REGULAR POLISH. When the lady that was doing my daughters nails put a nail polish thinner on the polish bottle I didnt think anything of it. I have been to many salons and many have done this and the nails come out great. This Salon however did not please me at all. My daughters nails came out horrible. They are thick, globby, and above all..the amount thinner that they used in the polish had an effect on the result. The nails have not yet dried and it has been over TWO HOURS. I will have to take the polish off and redo it myself. I called the place and asked for a refund but they offered a fix instead. I will not be going to get them fixed from this terrible experience. Waste of $45 dollars to get a manicure and for it to come out this bad. Because even if the nail polish would have dried, it looks terrible! read more

They are very rude if you dont want gel polish. They are also overpriced. I never get gel , nail tech asked me if I will get gel .I declined and said I would like regular with a design instead. I went into get a gel manicure. I have had gel on my fingernails for almost a year now. I specifically told the man that was doing my nails that I did not want them shortened. I also told him I wanted the shape of the nail to be round. I told him I wanted a French tip. As you can see by the picture my nails are incredibly short, he took them down almost half the length of the nail. I asked him about it instantly, and he claimed he didn't hear me say not to shorten them and that it was "Too late now." The way that he did the French tip, makes my nails look incredibly stubby. The white portion is covering almost 1/2 of my nail. You can also see that some of the nails are round, and some are square. When I questioned him about the white polish, and asked about how stubby they looked, he said, that he "Did it right and that French tips are only for people who have square shaped fingernails. French Tips don't belong on people that have round fingernails." When he was finished, he quoted me $30. I thought that was very reasonable, and took out my credit card and handed it to him. He walked towards the pay station at the front of the building, gesturing that I should follow him. When he ran my card, he ran it for $35.50. I assumed that he choose to include his tip in the total. So I did not add any tip to my portion of the receipt. He looked at the receipt, and then asked me if I was going to give him a tip? I replied, "No you added $5.50 to the bill." To which he replied, "No a gel manicure is $35 with a French tip." I asked him why he told me it was $30.00 when he reached for my card? He claimed he made a mistake. Ok, I'll buy that. But as a professional, you don't change the price of something and then ring it up without a conversation with the customer. It felt as though he was hoping I would t notice the price change. Oh, and the price list on the wall said Gel Manicure $30.00 & up. I didn't add anything further for a tip. He was scowling at me as I left. I will NOT be returning to this salon. Regarding the 2nd photo... while I agree with the sentiment, I struggle with the horrible grammar & punctuation. The most glaring error?? The wording shows that whoever wrote the warning didn't know that weed & marijuana are the same thing. read more

Originally planned to get a regular full set with gel color but the nail tech had a beautiful pink and yellow ombré on her own nails, so I asked her to do that on me. Really amazing job. If I could give this place negative stars I would. I came in and told them that I wanted a gel pedicure and a dip polish manicure. I asked where they able to accommodate me, they said yes. I sit down in the chair to do my gel pedicure first and asked to see the colors of the dip polish so that I can make sure that they matched. Once my feet were in the water I then again asked for the dip polish colors because I still hadn't received them. The lady Mya says we only have five dip colors! So I took my feet out of the water and said well first let me see what colors you have to see if I want to still get everything done. She returns with about 20 colors which were nice. So I got an awesome pedicure and I was told I needed to wait 20 to 25 minutes to get my dip manicure because there are only two people in the salon who does that service. So after waiting about 25 minutes another customer walks in and says she wants a manicure and pedicure. The girl I was waiting on got up to go to start her service and I had to tell them I'm waiting for her since Mya said there are only two people in the salon that can do that service. Once in her chair she's looking at my nails, turning my hands over back-and-forth and asked me is it dip powder. I said yes this is the only thing that I get on my nails. And that these are my real nails they are no tips added. She then says as if I'm lying well I need to file your nails down to make sure that this is only dip powder. I told her that I have been waiting over 20 minutes and that this is dip powder, if she is unsure whether she can do my nails let me know, she says no I don't want to do for you just pay for your feet. So now I'm upset and I'm like if you were not sure that you could do my nails you should have told me that prior to me even getting my feet done because now I have to drive somewhere else and hope that the color matches(they go not)She then repeat it ... I don't WANT to do your nails. So I got up and went to the cash register to pay, the lady who did my feet was also the cashier and I asked her why does she not want to do my nails? She said she did not know and begin speaking in her language to them (probably to she why)and still no answer. So I paid $45 and had to drive across town to persimmon nails on Centennial and Durango to get a dip manicure. I am not sure if she did not want to do my nails because I am black or because she was not confident that she could do the service, either way that should have been explained to me prior to me sitting down to get my feet done. read more
