I was having trouble starting and bough down and just rough running engine with less than 200 hrs. He did appropriate diagnostic work and when completed the Johnson 115 purrs like a kitten. He also went through my trailer and gave me great fixes which include new bearings for the wheels. He is replacing the impeller on next Monday as well. Very professional and focused upon the task! We left that day and returned with a deposit to hold the camper and start the buying process a few days later. Unfortunately, we were not able to close the deal. When I asked about our deposit being returned, I was told 7-10 business days. Ok, no big deal. One week, two weeks...a month goes by and nothing. I called to speak to someone and was directed to Zack. I spoke to Zack and was told that the request had been sent to corporate, but being that it was Saturday, he would have to wait until Monday to call and see what information he could find out for me and that he would return my call that following Monday. Again, no big deal. I received no call. Another 3 weeks go by....nothing. I called again on 7/1/26 to speak to Zack, he wasn't in. I was directed to Dan and once again explained the situation. I was told that since Zack wasn't in, he would have to wait to speak to Zack when he got in later that day, and that either he or Zack would get back to me that afternoon. Again, no one called, emailed, or left me a voicemail. Being that it has been two months now with no communication from Forest River as to where our deposit is, I felt that I had to leave a review to warn other potential customers. I have been nothing but incredibly patient throughout this whole process. I have called twice in two months. Unfortunately, Forest River lacks in their communication skills and customer service. I guess since our deal didn't go through, we are not as important as any other customer and don't deserve the same respect. Beware of leaving deposits....you may have to fight tooth and nail to get your REFUNDABLE deposit back, IF you ever get it back.

They gave us a date and time that was very convenient and showed up on time and sent several text messages confirming our appointment. The technician put our snowblower on his truck and serviced it right on the spot. The cost for the repair was very reasonable and the tech was great keeping us informed what the repairs would be. The owner's name is actually Henry, and he was pleasant and helpful as we discussed questions and next steps for my snow blower repair needs. Note: Ray's does not schedule appointment dates for snow blower repairs or tune-ups before November. This makes sense, as Henry explained, he recommends you service seasonal equipment at the beginning of its designed season to guarantee trouble free operation. Scheduling the mobile truck service was quick and easy via Ray's web page, confirmation emails and calendar events are sent to the customer. You Do NOT have to be present for the appointment as long as the equipment is accessible on your property. The service ticket is left in your mailbox, and final payment can be handled by phone. Henry was prompt and professional for my mobile service appointment and the repairs were completed to my satisfaction and for a reasonable price. Ray's provides a 30 day service warranty on travel and labor and 90 day factory warranty on parts. I highly recommend Ray's Mower Shop for your onsite or mobile servicing needs.
