Then, two young handsome gentlemen knocked my window and offered me help. 2 min later, tire is up! Place has a cool show room but is over priced. If you don't buy new motorized vehicles from them, I do not recommend going through the service department with your personal vehicles. I brought them an 02' 125 Yamaha Breeze, that started and ran when engine block was cold. But would not start once warm. They had it for weeks. Got the call it was finished. Showed up to find out they couldn't figure out the problem and they have to charge the minimum mechanic fee of $500.00. Getting back a little quad that was as broke as when I dropped it off, with a $500.00 kicker. I had high expectations for this establishment. Dudes seem pretty racist.... No one spoke to me upon entering the motorcycle store! In fact the person who helped me "Ernie" walked directly pass me and said not 1 word! He eventually tried to overcharge me but then came down on the price after i stated the previous close cost i received prior was lower. In addition, this guy waits until i purchase the bike fully as well as ensure it and then proceeds to ask me whether or not i know how to ride ... clearly they just wanted the black mans money at any cost! Furthermore they sent me home with a BRAND NEW fucked up bike that i actually paid CASH FOR. Damn near $12,000 and missed two days of Riding due to bullshit. The clutch lever was loose and i damn near died trying to take this bike home. Mike Ramona sent help however the experience was absurd. Let me put this simple for you: I came from NYC to Deptford Yamaha because I remember that they did right by me when I was in NJ. Now, I wish I had continued to have my bike serviced with them after I moved. I am not claiming they are the best, But for integrity, fair price and consistency, I will give them a reference and HIGHLY RECOMMEND THEM. That one shop in NYC overcharged me for parts at over 500%, and they charged me over $6000 for service, but they didn't fix the bike and left me with an engine leak. Took my bike there to have the fuel gauge looked at. They called me and said it would be $250 because they have to get inside the tank to figure out the issue. I got a call saying the sending unit is bad and the part is $110 so i assumed it would only be $110 more because they were already in the tank. No they told me they put it all back together before calling me and that it would be another $250 in labor for them to pull it apart again. I told them no. I go to pick up the bike n the latch that holds my CORBIN seat to the bike is ripped out. I tell them n they try telling me i brought my bike in like that. After almost arguing with the guy for a few minutes they decide they're gonna "fix" it. They glued the latch back to the seat n that was it. I left and im going down the highway and the tank cover/protecter i have starts flying around... They couldnt even reattach the tank cover when they put everything back together. From now on I will be taking my bike somewhere else. They did more damage to my bike than they fixed. read more

Delt with Bill in sales over the phone. I called 6 dealers and they did the best deal even though they charge alot for prep and freight. Bought a new leftover 2013 VXR. However they couldnt do a good deal on a trailer so bought one from Franklin up the road for $300 less (-.5 star) Left a $100 deposit ski was prepped and ready for pickup. Guys even helped adjust bunks on the trailer and got the ski to seat perfect. Finance messed up some numbers but fixed the issue. (-.5 stars) Overall straight up guys and def went the extra mile helping set up the trailer. Bill had excellent communications. I recommend them! read more

Bought a (used) jet ski August 2019 took it out three times then started to have issues with it. Took it DHY after waiting a week for them just to look at it I got call it was going to cost about $1,800 to fix it. Long story short I turned the claim into my insurance but they denied my claiming stating "what's wrong with your ski was a problem that was there prior to you buying the ski and you should not have been sold the ski without DHY informing you about the issues". I was not told of any issues with the ski prior to buying it for $7,000! read more

I brought my 2010 Polaris Ranger 800 Crew here for service in August 2019. It was the first time I went to DHY. I took it in for an oil change and two other concerns. I told them to look it over and a small oil leak was found at the valve cover or around the intake. I had them repair it. A few weeks later I noticed an oil leak on the trailer. It wasn't driven since the service and it wasn't a small leak. The trailer had what amounted to be a quart of oil on it. I was angry that I just spent a lot of money and wrote an unpleasant email to Don G. about the leak. I brought it back and Don told me that I'd be the first one in. That didn't happen. They wrote up other customers and put mine aside. It took 6 hours to tell me that they couldn't find a leak. I was told it was residual oil from the oil change or it was old oil trapped in mud. I was given a bill with a gasket they replaced on it at $0.00, no charge. No oil leak was found, but a gasket was replaced. Less than 20 hours later, the engine blew. There was no oil in it. It was bone dry. I sent another email to Don G. No one contacted me. I had to call. In my opinion, if this was an issue that mattered to DHY, there is no reason for them not to reach out to the customer and try to rectify the situation. No attempt was made. When I called, I spoke to Mike, who said he remembered me, and proceeded to tell me that my machine was old, had a lot of hours on it and that I bought it used. I bought it used 4 years ago and put hundreds of hours on it since. He also said that Polaris machines just get old and tired and the engines die. I find it odd that a machine that had no major problems goes in for service and the engine blows up after only a few hours of use. He basically let me know that my machine was old and that this was normal. He did offer for me to bring it back, but my confidence is lost. How can you trust a company that makes you feel worthless because you have an older machine? I sent an email to Donna, the owner. No response. In my opinion that is terrible business and abysmal customer relations. So, I went in for an oil change, they found an oil leak, they repaired said oil leak, I had to take it back for an oil leak, I was told that no oil leak was found, but received a bill with a gasket at no charge on it, I was told all was good and less than 20 hours later my engine blew because there was no oil in it. When I brought it back in for the oil leak, was the oil level ever checked before you let it leave? I read a response from the owner to a review on Yelp here, where it was stated that maybe that customer would be better served at another dealer. After reading that, I know what I'm writing is useless and won't change anything. But it's better to let people read this and make their own judgement. If you go for here for service with an older machine, be cautious. read more

Took my bike in for two new tires. The staff was friendly, and the facility looks good, but the service prices were ridiculous. They wanted 2 hours labor @ $130 each to install two tires (on the bike). $260 to install sportbike tires! And this is their "reduced" rate for buying their extremely marked up tires. If you bring your own tires, it's $175/hour. Shocking. If they price gouge like that on a tire change I can't imagine how much they mark up everything else. I didn't even bother to shop or look around, so I can't speak as to the rest of their pricing, but I know personally I will never go back. read more

I brought my 1981 Yamaha maxim in to dhy service department, I have been working on the bike for several months and had it running. I asked for a few miniscule things such as a new relay and brake adjustments, which I didn't have time to do myself. A week after dropping it off I receive a call stating they won't work on my bike because it will cost the business money. Which is fair, if the bike wasn't running. I pick up my bike and was charged $150 for a diagnostic test which they never told me what was wrong, if anything, with my bike. read more

It is amazing how no one sells a key for a Yamaha. I went to DHY for the key and they had it. They were fast and friendly at the counter. My only thing is if all dtores charge $2.50 for a key and to cut it DHY shouldnt charge $4.00 for just the blank. Now I still have to go somewhere to have it cut. read more
