I've been in the collectibles industry for a long time, including owning my own shop for nearly a decade, so I don't hand out compliments lightly. Drewbees's has been one of the best hobby shops I've been in. What stands out the most is the atmosphere. Whether you're buying a single pack, a high-end card, or just stopping by to talk about the hobby, the staff treats everyone with respect. You can tell they genuinely care about the community they're building instead of just trying to make a sale. Their selection is consistently impressive. They stay on top of the newest releases while also carrying a great mix of singles, sealed product, and hard-to-find items. Pricing has always felt fair, and I've never felt pressured into buying something I didn't want. The shop itself is clean, organized, and constantly improving. It's obvious the owners are investing back into the business and looking for ways to make the customer experience better. That's becoming harder and harder to find in this industry. If I had one suggestion, it would simply be to keep expanding what they're already doing. The foundation they've built is strong, and I think they're becoming one of the premier hobby destinations in Southern California. The guys here are pretty chill, they gave my son a free pokemon pack my first time in here. They overcharged me for a pack that I got for my son and while we were opening packs a bunch of kids told me they changed the price (they supposedly made a mistake and corrected it) so I went back and they honored it and gave me another one to pay for the difference. I appreciate the honesty. Will be coming back whenever we are in the neighborhood or whenever my son feels like going. Thanks guys. Mostly pokemon cards, limited on sports cards that my husband usually collects. They are well stocked when we came on all their pokemon packs. Not really sure what else they have, didn't see any comics from what I remember. Parking kind of sucks, so we were glad we came early. Catch u guys there. read more

I took my 7-year-old son to this shop because he wanted Pokémon cards for his birthday. He used his own birthday money, and I paid his $80 for a box of 6 packs. The next day, I found out the exact same box could be purchased elsewhere for about $26. I understand stores need to make a profit, and I would have understood a reasonable markup, maybe $35 or so. But charging $80 for a kids' card box feels excessive, especially when young children and parents who are new to the hobby may not know the normal retail price. I later learned that scalping is a big issue with these cards, and that some shops buy from scalpers and resell at much higher prices. That may be common in the hobby, but as a parent, it does not feel right when kids are involved. I ended up giving my son his $80 back and taking the loss myself because I did not want his birthday money to be wasted that way. He no longer wants to go back to the shop, and honestly, I understand why. The people we met at regular stores like Vons and Albertsons were actually kinder and more helpful about cards than this card shop was. I wish places that sell products aimed at kids would be more reasonable with pricing instead of making parents feel like they have to be scalped just to let their child enjoy the hobby. This has become a Man Child obsession, and he and I don't want to be part of it. I will not be returning. read more

If you think charging you well over market value is the only immoral thing they do wait until you sell to them. Between Top DeckKeep (another local shop that will rape you) and these guys the it really makes you wonder why the card market is shitty. There are a few new shops I recommend but please skip town on these guys. Especially if you google search and find that your card may have some value. These guys will rip ur card apart and give you pennies. From personal experience I'm here to tell you that over charging you isn't the only way they scam. Also upon selling your cards there needs to be paperwork but since they buy from scalpers I can see why they wouldn't. Again two new clean shops have opened up within 5 miles very respectful shops that will introduce you to the card world. And yea yea yea overhead... you can fu$: yourself with that why should I lose more than 60-75% of my card value so that u can pay your bills I also bills and that's why I stopped going there. If you are in the market for Pokémon best shop is off magnolia/ la sierra and for sports/Pokémon the shop is off McKinley near Ross and they are always stocked with great prices and attitude. read more

Started coming here a few weeks ago when I started collecting Pokémon cards with my six-year-old grandson. Right off the bat Chris was super helpful with explaining how the whole collecting process works and TCG's... both Pokemon and One Piece. The Staff there are all awesome Chris, Jose and D have all been super helpful. They always try to make time for us and answer all our questions. They're super knowledgeable about the product and seemed very glad to share that knowledge with newbies. I also learned that if they don't have something in their cases, just ask them not everything might be out at the time you're looking. But the thing I like very best about this shop compared to all the other shops I've been checking out lately. They have the very best prices and it's not even close. These guys just seem like they want to take care of people and are super focused on customer service. They don't gouge people they're not all fancy or in for show. No sir theres no lashing out and actually just recently walked in can a $25 card and a $10 and was offered $10 for both. All im saying is that using the excuse that you have a business to upkeep or telling us what steps youll have to take to sell the card like ebay charges. Isnt our problem you have a hub that draws people in. Theres also other market strategies that you have taken to be able to makes it easier to get rid of cards. The kindness of your heart isnt what i was getting at its the constant lowball. One of the hardest hits and regrets i have done since i started collecting is selling you a $150 and only getting $40. At the time i was new and needed the money and you guys took advantage of that. The worse came straight from your mouth when your dumbass employee acused me of being a theif and before checking your facts you walked up to me and confronted me. Im not lashing out just using yelp for what its for and explaining my personal experience. Coming in there to sell cards is a joke. Why is it my problem to take a hit on my cards just because you have a shop. Why is it that i have to get paid 60-70% market value because you have a shop. I come in to sell cards not pay your bills. One of the best TCG shops in the Inland Empire. First came around for the Sports side of the card collectible hobby, realized they're also a TCG shop (MTG, Pokémon, Lorcana). Great and fair prices overall, and there's even possible room for small negotiations and even trades. Decided to play a Lorcana event and the store had a great atmosphere. The regulars and people were all great and helpful. Even did some crossover trades, I was able to flip some sports card for Lorcana cards before the event! Drewbees is my local card store. I brought my 6 year old son into the shop and he fell in love with their pokemon cards. This might not be the biggest shop, but these guys are always trying to do right by their customers. They have card tournaments all week. Entry is always a fair price and the prizing is always good. When my son tied for first in a tournament and was ranked out of 1st place, due to being a junior, the shop owner made it right and got my 6 year old son the prizing that was equal to the adult prizing. If you have children that are into pokemon this is the place to go. They always help out the kids in learning to play. They have a friendly environment and are very kind to new players. Good place to buy cards and product, but do NOT sell your cards here. I brought in a variety of cards, about 10, including a Charizard SIR from 151. That card alone goes for about $180 raw value. However, I was offered $150 TOTAL for everything. Disappointed. read more

I've had a pretty good experience with this store up until now. I would give this spot 0 stars just due to the fact on how they treat their customers. I was trying to work out a deal with a worker there (gentleman with beard & glasses) and when we finished, a worker that had terrible vibes and just looked like he hated talking to customers, butted in and went "ah that shit sold.(In direct words)" Super unprofessional, and then immediately tried to blame me for "not telling him to put it on the side," instead of apologizing, he goes "ah thats toughh" when I was clearly just conversing with the other worker w/ the glasses and not him (I did not want to talk to him in the first place just due to the fact that he has terrible customer service.) Be cautious if you're expecting professionalism from this place. 2 stars just because the worker with the beard and glasses genuinely looked like he was there to help. read more
