Large location, limited supplies on alcohol. (Also your absolute is under priced) Nothing healthy on menu for vegetarians. Most of foods are frozen; patties, chicken, fries. They don't carry any gin, poor selection of tequila, severs beer and drink specials in RED CUPS. Manager is over barring of bartenders. Staff gets a 5 start ! Although they are not used to big crowds they dress nice in black, pretty faces, and very attentive to customers. They are not tip savy! Just good customer service and fun! I highly recommend new salad recipe fresh ingredients GREEN LEAF LETTUCE, but dressings like olive oil/vinegar or Balsamic.

The outside patio looked pretty but it was too windy to sit there. The inside ambiance was more diner style (smelled like it as well unfortunately) and did not match the outside appearance. The clam chowder was hearty and full of potatoes and clams. The highly anticipated brunch burger was a disappointment. Upon arrival, the dish already had a smear of aoli on the side of the plate. Too hungry to wonder if the plate was clean (till after the meal ). The egg was perfectly cooked sunny side up. However, the millionaire's bacon was not thick nor had much flavor. The meat of the burger itself was tasteless and overcooked (asked for medium but showed up well done). When one is told to lower dining expectations in lake county you would have thought for sure one can't go wrong with classic burger... apparently not unfortunately.

The Greek quinoa salad with chicken is effortlessly composed: crisp greens, briny olives, red onion, tender protein, and a generous snowfall of feta that actually means something. The quinoa adds just enough substance to make it satisfying without weighing it down, and the pepperoncinis on the side? A small but intentional detail that elevates the whole plate. Everything tasted clean, bright, and balanced--no heavy hand, no shortcuts. Just quality ingredients allowed to shine. In a world of overworked, overdressed salads, this one keeps it refined--and that's exactly why it stands out.

The Gaslight Grill popped up, about a 20 minute drive away with a four-star rating. I looked at the reviews, pics, and menu and decided to give it a try. What a fun little place! The menu is great, offering a huge array of burgers and sandwiches. I had a patty melt, prepared perfectly on grilled rye, with grilled onion, and Swiss cheese which chose to upgrade the side to onion rings. My meal was fantastic! I was shocked and surprised and elated when I took my first bite! I wasn't expecting it to be that good. Others in our party had a basic cheeseburger, reportedly also exceptionally good, alongside an upgrade of sweet potato fries, that were awesome! A hot dog served on a toasted roll with very enticing condiments and freshly fried french fries, that looked absolutely appetizing! Our six-year old enjoyed his mini corn dogs, and my adult son liked his French Dip with upgraded side of chili cheese fries. All the food was really good. The atmosphere was great. An old bar that has been transformed into more of a grill, with great selections of beer and wine; no liquor it seems, which is ok since the food is as good as it is! On to service. The staff all seem to be on the younger side, but they are doing a great job with customer service! I thoroughly enjoyed my visit and will definitely return. Give 'em a try if you're looking for a good meal (not fancy) in a clean, fun environment!

The food menu was interesting and offered a nice range of comfort to finer dining options. The wine menu was extensive. Both the food and wines were reasonably priced. The spicy ahi tuna bites were delicious. Fresh and flavorful ahi on top of the perfectly crunchy sushi bites that had the right amount of "QQQ" (aka chew). This paired nicely with the Sol Rouge Viognier. It seems this place also has music nights. With or without music, the food quality is definitely worth checking out. Modern open interior with high ceilings, and perimeter seating with a short bar area. We ate here twice while in town, and had reservations both times. Greeted walking in at our time and seated within the same moment. The staff are all friendly, professional and kind. Our servers both visits made us feel welcome and appreciated for dining there. A concise creative menu thats better than most in the area. We started with a couple appetizers. The Spicy Ahi Crunch bites were very good, with fresh Ahi and a slice of jalepeno on top of a crunchy puff bite. We really enjoyed them and thought it was a good start. Along with their fresh baked focaccia bread with evoo and balsamic. Both were very good starters. Next we shared the large Harvest salad with poached pear, squash, brussels, walnuts and lettuce greens. This is a big salad and was easy for us to split between the two of us. A good choice as well, great textures and flavors. For my meal I went for the Black and Gold Salmon. A hearty serving with a near perfectly cooked salmon filet on top of risotto with mushrooms. A solid choice again, full flavored and well prepared. 4 Stars a solid choice for a good meal 01180

We came in the evening around sunset and sat outside since we had the pup. This is a great spot for lake views. It's casual and there's a decent amount of outdoor seating. Inside, we only passed in and out but it gave more of a restaurant and bar vibe for the locals. Service was friendly. To eat, I got the Turkey Bacon Avocado Sandwich. It was a good sandwich, basic but had the fixings and the fries were crispy. Companion got the Fish and Chips. Honestly, the quality and taste surpassed both of our expectations. The other items looked fine, typical American fare but a bit pricey for what it's worth. For those looking for a bite or drink with a nice view, I recommend Stowaway Grill only if you're in the area. They have used lots of decor in remembrance of the previous business, like the big saw outside and the saw lights. Quaint establishment w/ patio seating, small bar (4 seats), good amount of tables, wooden floors. Greeted immediately with a smile. Menus, utensils and water provided quickly after we sat. Our server shared the special of the day, what wasn't currently available and when asked of his favorite quickly responded with some gems. My partner knew exactly what she wanted - Pineapple Cauliflower Salad22 (Crispy Asian cauliflower, mixed greens, cabbage, carrots, peanuts, crispy rice noodles, sesame seeds, crunchy garlic, pineapple pico, green onions, and edamame with a Basil-lime vinaigrette 1/2 Cauliflower salad). I had a bite and it was very flavorful. The cauliflower looked like orange chicken. This dish is vegan btw. I was torn between the fish and chips and the Jalapeno Bacon burger. The server said it was a favorite earlier so I went with it. (Grilled Short Rib, Brisket, Chuck patty served on a toasted brioche bun with melted cheddar cheese, bacon, fried jalapenos, lettuce, tomato, and onions with our overloaded sauce). Man was this good! The burger was juicy, the thick cuts of bacon and the sauce. Everything complimented one another nicely. They make their ketchup in house throughout the week. You can tell too! It has it's own flavor that outdoes regular ketchup. The fries were crispy, lightly salted and just enough. Service was friendly. We were checked on throughout our meal to ensure the food was good and so were we. They do offer a rewards program we signed up for. This is definitely going to be a go to spot for us. Can't wait to explore the menu!

On the other side, one of my family members had the special pork dish (some sort of pork tenderloin) and it was bland.
