To eat, I got the Turkey Bacon Avocado Sandwich. It was a good sandwich, basic but had the fixings and the fries were crispy. Companion got the Fish and Chips. Honestly, the quality and taste surpassed both of our expectations. The other items looked fine, typical American fare but a bit pricey for what it's worth. Visited this place this past Sunday with joyful anticipation. Was sadly disappointed. My wife and I ordered a build your own burger each and ordered buffalo wings as an appetizer. The wings were cold in the center. Fortunately the meat looked fully cooked. Both burgers were ordered to be cooked medium. When we bit into our burgers the meat was raw in the center! WTH. Visited here on a short weekend getaway this weekend. Came initially because it was close to us, but man was the food GOOD. The food was so good we came here two nights in a row. The first night we had the blue cheese burger and the bacon/beef burger. The party's were THICK, perfectly seasoned and perfectly cooked. The bun was high quality- all of it was a slam dunk. There are quite a few things to talk about on this review! To start with the food, they were unfortunately out of about 3 items (calamari, chicken tenders, and clam chowder). When we got the food, it was just okay. I wouldn't come back here again on the basis of the food. There was about 10 of us and we got almost everything on the menu from burgers to fish - all of it was mediocre. The service was questionable. I would say the staff was all very nice, but they are severely understaffed, so there was very long wait times and everyone was frustrated with each other. As far as ambiance goes, imagine you're back in 2010. Everyone is very relaxed, dancing, and everyone there was just silly if I had to put it into one word. I definitely got some laughs but unfortunately we won't be back. I would call ahead of time and confirm the food and staff they have - I bet it would be great without that issue! read more

The flavors that melted together on my pesto chicken sandwich were simply delicious. I'm a stickler for onion rings and these were huge, crispy and tasty. I shared a serving of a dozen hot wings which are offered with several different flavors and dipping sauces. Lake County has a new player in the restaurant game and it's the Stowaway Grill!
