Came here on a Monday morning around 9am. At first I didn't know where the cafe was, but it's located on the side of the laundromat facing the street. The inside of the cafe deli was cute and there was seating available. Good amount of people coming and going while we were inside. I ordered a mix berry smoothie and house breakfast sandwich. The sandwich was really yummy and hit the spot -- I added some Tabasco sauce for more flavor and really enjoyed my breakfast. The smoothie was alright, it honestly wasn't what I was expecting for a smoothie. It was really icy and watered down, I honestly probably wouldn't get it again. But the food was good. The cashier was very nice and accommodating. My original smoothie cup had been leaking a lot, so I asked if I could get a new cup and she didn't hesitate or seem inconvenienced to do it. I'm rating this place a 4/5 because I had better expectations for the smoothie. I would come here again for a quick breakfast bite and try something else on the menu too! read more

I've visited Drip & Melt at least twice. On my first visit I ordered the Meat Supreme Burrito. The burrito contains, sausage, ham, bacon with egg scramble, hash brown, salsa and American Cheese on a flour tortilla. On my second visit I ordered the Drippy Roast Beef. I subbed for sourdough (instead of Brioche) for my Beef sammy. The rest of the sandwich had the rest: house chipotle aioli, roasted red peppers, caramelized onions, and American cheese. The aioli was surprisingly creamylicious! During both visits, I was served by the same, friendly cashier. There are plenty of seats inside (10-12) and some seats at the side patio. If you're looking for a decent value (Under $12 average) on a sandwich, Drip & Melt is your go-to spot for affordable sandwiches. Overall, you get what you pay for and the size and quality are sensible. I found easy street parking right in front and was surprised to find a good number of tables and bar seating when I walked in. They also have an outdoor patio situation on the side that another customer asked about. Placing my order was easy and it came out after a few minutes. Ambiance: The interior was clean and bright with a mix of seating. It wasn't particularly loud inside but it's right off of the street and the door was open, so it wasn't library quiet either. House burrito w/sausage: This was solid. Not the best I've had, and certainly not the worst. Throwing a salsa in the mix, using scrambled eggs and more of a homemade flour tortilla would have made this great. Hazelnut latte w/oat milk: This was good, although the hazelnut flavor was light which might be because the oat milk overpowered it. My beef chorizo breakfast wrap (eggs, chorizo, jalapeno pepper jack, hash browns, salsa and avocado) was outstanding, as was my hubby's sausage egg bagel! Service was very friendly and fast. Sandwiches are very reasonably priced and if we lived in the area, this would be a fantastic place to have on our takeout rotation! The deli adjoins a laundromat - would be great for grabbing a bite while waiting for your dryer! There is some seating and a self-service kiosk which is nice. Our group stayed at an AirBnB in the neighborhood for a week and this little cafe quickly became our favorite spot on the block. Throughout our stay our mornings consisted of breakfast sandwiches and coffee which always hit the spot. We weren't the biggest fans of the sweeter latte type drinks, but their coffee and espresso were solid and the bagels the sandwiches came on were always tasty. The staff was always super nice and the food was made fresh after ordering. We never got to try their lunch sandwiches but they had a ton of combos to choose from featuring Boar's Head meats if that's what you're craving. Thankful this place was so close by. Sandwich maker was quick to let me know what breads were available the minute I stepped foot into the cafe. Didn't realize it was a hour until their closing. So appreciated that. Light, airy cafe with some seating, looks like a lot of takeout, with a self-service order kiosk. The Avocado toast was bright, fresh & tasty. Because it was sliced wheat bread maybe a double toast would be great and a bit more avocado. But who knows I ate it all up in less than 5 minutes! The shop is easy to find - right on the corner across the street from 7-11. It was a Saturday morning and we found parking on the street right away. After perusing the menu, we were also able to order pretty quickly, no line. The shop itself isn't too huge but they've got plenty of indoor seating if you're looking to dine in for a quick bite. They've also got an outdoor patio which could be nice for the sunnier days. I opted for an iced latte and the sausage breakfast burrito. Great portion size for $9! It was a solid burrito and adding hot sauce gives it a good kick. Also, you could get a drip coffee for just $2 with the purchase of a breakfast burrito. Latte was good too, nothing too crazy but then again, the focus here seems to be sandwiches. Overall, a solid stop of quick budget friendly lunch/breakfast. So good that we ate here twice during our trip to SF. The customer service was great. We ordered each of the house burritos. The burritos aren't massive but they're plenty big to be satisfied with a good proportion of each ingredient. We also had the Olympic club and ocean club sandwiches. The beef chorizo burrito seemed a bit skinny compared to other breakfast burritos, especially in comparison to Guerrero's down the block but I was hopeful it could still do the job. First couple bites and the burrito was mostly tortilla rather than filling. I'd recommend stuffing it more to make it hefty, especially if we're paying $12 for this. The actual filling once you get to it is flavorful though with beef, salsa, guacamole, and some hash browns. The chicken pesto melt was okay. My girlfriend mentioned the top "sear" on the bread is probably from mayo rather than butter. The melt itself was a little too greasy. Chicken was tender, cheese was melty, and you can't go wrong with pesto, but it definitely needs some freshness to balance it out. Maybe add some tomatoes to the melt and it'd be a hit for us! Overall, Drip N Melt could use some fine tuning, but it's something worth checking out if you're hungry and in the area. read more

So this was full service, compared to most sandwich spots. The shop is clean and casual. None of that typical Bay Area BS. While looking for a spot to get a quick lunch close to home, I found Drip and Melt through yelp. This place is a nice local sandwich shop with breakfast and lunch items on the menu. A very nice addition to the neighborhood. We ordered the pastrami melt, turkey pesto panini, large hazelnut latte and a coffee. The star of the show was definitely the pastrami melt with chopped banana peppers and super oozy cheese that comes out perfectly toasted. For the turkey pesto panini, I couldn't taste the pesto or garlic aioli - maybe the spread is too light, or I was given the turkey avacado. It's good, with fresh avocado and tomatoes, but I think it would have been a big hit if the pesto and garlic aioli flavors were present, and would be even better if the cheese was melted and oozing. Hazelnut latte and coffee is decent. Great prices, great melts, great staff. We'll be back to try other items on the menu. read more
