Visiting from Las Vegas and found this gem of a coffee house. The service was incredible they are so nice and bring your goodies to you after you've found a cozy spot to settle in. Immediately took a sip and thought " this is the coffee I've been searching for. This area in CoSp has more than a few coffee shops- DON'T GO TO THE OTHER COFFEE SHOPS!!!! Come here!!! I have a lot of food allergies and knew I was meeting a friend in this area- so I called the other "small/local" coffee shops to see if they had organic, Swiss water processed, decaf coffee. I heard "no" again and again until I spoke to Clay (the owner) at Drip Coffee House. Not only does this wonderful, quant, coffee shop have this kind of coffee- all of their items are sustainably sourced with minimal carbon footprint and they support local businesses. I love the message that Clay gives with his business model! And he remembered talking to me on the phone the day before! Great customer service! The coffee flavors are also all natural- yay to being able to have a latte! This coffee house is in a business strip area....a hidden gem. You walk in and it's not overwhelming with a bunch of "zen" items that just make the entire atmosphere "too much." We all know those kind of coffee shops. There are no fake smells, incense, aroma machines- great for someone with allergies. It is a simple place with some chairs and tables, local art/items for sale, yummy coffee and some pastries. It is the perfect spot to meet with a friend and chat. I asked Clay once it gets nice if he will have outdoor seating and he affirmed he is working on that- which is great so that you can bring your pups, sit outside, and relax. Clay is the man! The Iced Caramel Macchiatos are delicious and consistent! I pair it with either a Cinnamon Twist or the Queenets; sourced from a local bakery. Just off of the roundabout at Gleneagle and Struthers, this adorable coffeehouse is snuggled into a strip center, just down from Blue Cord and across from truenorth, chiropractic. Sit and char with a friend in front of the fireplace, or use their Wi-Fi to work while you enjoy some of the best coffee drinks and locally baked pastries. I should've taken a picture of my chocolate croissant...It was amazing! You have probably heard the phrase "you get what you pay for" and that is the case here. We had heard excellent things about Drip, and decided to try it out. Wonderful experience. Clay, the owner helped us and knows his stuff. I had a med (2-shot) cap which was right on flavor target (he mixes in a little cinnamon, which I couldn't detect but may have balanced out flavors). Next time I might go for a dry cap, as the coffee was smooth enough. My wife wanted something with pumpkin but not too sweet. Clay told her they have two types: pumpkin pie for the sweet-tooths, and pumpkin spice for those who want just the spice and flavor. She took one sip and handed it to me (I'm the, "just coffee in my coffee" guy)... it actually was pretty good! Had a perfect huge croissant on the side, sourced by La Baguette and/or another French place. Very very good. Interior was small but comfortable, and it seemed there was a decent take-out going on as well. We definitely will be back. read more
