I will start things off by saying that I love birria tacos. They're arguably my favorite Mexican dish. So, when I was in town visiting my parents, and I discovered that Dripped Birria had opened close to their place, I stopped by with my mom for lunch soon after they opened on a Saturday. Parking is easy in the lot they share with several other businesses. Ambiance (3.5/5): Fast, casual dining. It's a relatively small restaurant with several tables. You order at the counter and they call your nam when your food is ready. Funny decor, including a sign that says "Taco Dirty to Me." Service (N/A): Since you don't have a waiter/waitress serving you here, service isn't a big part of the experience. Drinks (4/5): Your usual soft drinks plus three agua frescas. Naturally, I went with an agua fresca. I never say no to fresh juice. Food (3/5): We went with the quesabirria tacos, birria egg rolls, and loaded birria fries. Their menu is pretty simple as it mostly consists of beef or chicken birria in various iterations: tacos, loaded fries, or egg rolls. There's also a dripping ramen variety. This was my first time having birria egg rolls, so that was pretty cool to try. The thing is, the quality of the birria is only so-so. And that's what's most important. You want the birria meet to be nicely marinated, tender, and flavorful as you dip it into the warm consomee. You want some cheesy gooeyness to ooze out of the taco. Dripped Birria doesn't stack up to some other places I've tried. Part of the problem is that they cover everything in various sauces, including one that's spicy. Birria tacos aren't spicy, so this was a surprise. Despite everything, Dripped Birria is not too shabby for a chain, with several locations in Houston and surrounding areas.

Customer service lacking: Kennedy B representing the front of the house, is a not a good fit or needs to get some "Hospitality Training " definitely lack any personality nor customer service skills to be in the front of the house to represent this business. After taking your order she resume back to her electronics. I was not acknowledged nor felt appreciated by this business, She never responded with a "Thank you " or "Your Welcome " She brought my order to table I thank her and did not get a response. I asked for a Togo container , said thank you and "No response. I pray the food is better than the front of house service. I ordered the 5 birra tacos: stewed beef, a little spicy (pepper) would have like more flavor, like seasoning. Any side on like sour cream, guacamole etc are an extra. A dipping sauce with 2 spice levels came with the order. The tacos could have use more cheese and the taco shells could have been crisper. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The restaurant was clean and tables clean and set up.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]No music, very quiet!!!! But it was noon on a Sunday.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

The birria tacos are really good. The ramen was delicious but I needed to give it since time to cool down. Kennedy was super helpful in helping us decide what to get. Sadly, the birria fries were not available. I'll be back to try it.

I got the "For the Streets" tacos, which came with a side of rice and beans, and honestly all the food tasted really good. I appreciated how the tortillas held up because I've been to some places where they sadly just fall a part. The sauces were flavorful and had a nice spicy kick to them too. I dipped my tacos into my friend's birria since mine didn't come with any, and the birria was 10/10. The prices were on the higher side for sure, and I can't say it was better than food truck tacos, but it definitely satisfied that craving. Dripped Birria in Pearland definitely delivers on taste! The flavor of everything we tried was spot on. I highly recommend the shrimp birria fries--they were packed with great flavor and were the highlight of the meal. My only note is that the birria tacos are a bit smaller than what you might find at other spots, but the quality of the food still makes it worth a visit. You know... my motto is tacos make life better! And dripped is no exception! These barria are the BOMB!? We went on taco Tuesday with a happy hour special AND we got a free taco!! So we tried the chicken taco; oh holy feathered fowl! It was delicious! Corn tortilla was crispy on the edge and corntastic with a consommé that was fresh and loaded with veg! I seldom write reviews except to commend good service or to acknowledge a job well-done. But I am fuming over the bad customer service tonight at Dripping Birria Tacos. We stopped in for a small celebratory meal after attending our grandsons graduation. We met family here who had already ordered and gotten their food. You order and pay on a kiosk and choose if it's to-go or eat-in. We were eating in. We waited over 20 minutes and noticed other people who came in after us were receiving their food. Our family had finished their food and we still hadn't gotten ours. When we went up to ask about it, they gave us a bag with our food and said we ordered it to-go, although our ticket said eat-in. The girl said they had called our name, which no one heard, however she was delivering food to all the other patrons who came in after us. The nachos we ordered were pitifully stuffed inside a very small styrofoam box you would take a half eaten sandwich home in. I am really upset that the quality of service this restaurant offers is so poor. The girl pretty much shrugged her shoulders and never apologized for the error on their part. Since our family had finished eating we took our food with us but haven't had it yet because we are driving 20 miles home. I wish restaurants would teach their staff how to handle issues with care and concern or how to right the wrong when they are at fault. As I said I love to commend good service and I'm 70 years old, have been in customer service for many years. I should've just asked to get my money back (including the tip I gave at the time I ordered). I don't believe the customer is always right, but when they are, please acknowledge you made a mistake and offer to fix the issue.

A hip take on birria makes this place an easy add to our rotation. It's a smaller venue but gets the job done. Interior is hip and as instagrammable as the decor is, the lighting made for tricky shots of food, at least for me. Ordering is done at the counter and they call out your name to pick up when ready. They've got some aguas frescas if you want something different to the fountain drinks. Tacos themselves are delicious and they are pretty generous with the queso. Consome is very reasonable as well. Ramen portions are large and goes a long way. We also tried their elote which while good, didn't really seem too unique. Prices are about average for birria at about $5 a taco.

Ok, I was put off first by lack of service and the do it yourself order and check out. But the real shocker is I paid over $21 for two tacos and two egg rolls. The egg rolls were not that bad, but the tacos? That was a complete joke and insult, shall I say robbery? The sauce was right out the refrigerator! Skip this lame ass place, save your money. Better tacos at a cheaper price and much better service just in the next block. Won't be back.

But when it comes to the food, not so great. It was my first and last time coming. On their website their quesabirrias tacos are $16.99 and the picture looks to be like a decent sized amount of a taco. When I ordered it in person, and the worker gave it to me, they were the tiniest tacos I had ever seen. In the pictures they did NOT look like about the same size. It was $16.99 for such a small portion. Literally not worth it and honestly a scam!!! It should not be $16.99 for such small tacos... In the picture you'll be able to see and compare how small the tacos are with the lime, literally like twice as big as the lime which is still small!!! Truly not worth it. A family of 2 infront of me got 2 orders and got their food before me and they finished their food at the same time as me because it was so small. I left hungry.

My wife and I went to try this place for the first time and it was a major disappointment. Her tacos barely had any meat on them. This is not 16/17$ worth of meat. We do not recommend this place and caution other guests about their overpriced and unsatisfactory tacos. read more

Never again. Should have taken a pic for proof, but whatever. I placed a pickup order for 5 quesabirria tacos. For $20, id at least expect a normal size taco. I can only describe these tacos as mini. I've ordered tacos from here before and they were a normal size then. A lot of cheese but barely any meat. To give you an idea of the quality, me and my girl were sharing this order that should have been plenty for us two. She took one and let me have the rest. "This is not enough food for a grown man," she says. I couldnt argue with her. read more

Food is an illusion to the eyes it may look pretty but definitely doesn't taste as good as it looks . The food here taste like dirt and way over cooked . Also the meat they use is over the date and raw . The staff here definitely steal the money out of the cash register and use it to run a money laundering scheme here . That's how shady the staff is . Also the prices for the same price ya can go to HEB and make your own taco and you're better off doing that . Overall Don't dip your Birria here read more

Me and my friend were really carving for some Birria tacos. So, I told her let's try this new spot called Dripped Birria Tacos in Pearland. When you walk in you place your order, and they bring it to you when it's done. The Birria tacos were very flavorful and delicious. Me personally I like my tacos spicy ,but it's good thing they offer 2 types of hot sauce to give it a nice little kick. This place is not for me. There were some positives which included being clean and ample seating. I tried the birria tacos which were fine... the dip had a strong anise flavor that we didn't care for and was very strange in this dish. Having tried birria at multiple places in Houston, this was the least impressive. The quesadilla had two sauces poured on top that were spicy which was fine for some of us but not everyone and def not the kids. No kids menu. Drink selection- no beer or alcohol. Pepsi machine but half the sodas weren't working. Also ordered nachos with no cilantro but the dude at the counter said he couldn't punch that in the system so he brought a bowl of chips with all the other toppings in styrofoam cups and said we could just add what we want. I mean I just didn't want cilantro... that's all. There's a person behind the counter but you have to order everything on an iPad. Their churro and ice cream was amazing but they had no spoons and was told "someone was running to get some"... eeek. Was really excited to try this place but very unimpressed. Hello, I was excited to try this place with a friend of mine but both were disappointed. 1st off, we ordered to go and our order was wrong. 2nd, the taste of the food was very mid. The sauce they gave us was 1/5 filled and smelled spoiled. The Horchata tasted very water down. The pico de gallo also tasted old. Overall the whole experience was sad and will never go back again. I've never had a bad experience here, which is saying a lot. When a restaurant is consistent, they've earned a regular with me. My tacos are always hot, as well as my consume. It always tastes delicious. The tender beef with the spices and onions and sauces create an amazing experience and flavor profile. I ordered tacos with a side of consome. I received my food and checked it and I did not get the side of consome. I went back in the store and the girl rudely tells me they are out of the consome. I then told her I already paid for it and her response was "well we just ran out" The girl with the blonde braids was rude and ruined my experience here. And they gave me the wrong tacos. Food is okay. VERY overpriced. Service was rude and didn't inform about Pearland Restaurant Week specials which would have made my order cheaper. Also menu is limited with only 5 entrees - all made from ingredients that could make 50 more menu items with their combination of ingredients. Whenever we walked in for dinner around half the tables were full of people and service was still very fast. We got cream cheese puffs, house spicy wide noodle soup, a chicken dish, soup dumplings, cream baos , and a fish dish, and all of it was fairly good. My least favorite was the cheese puffs, which were incredibly hot but I didn't find much very special about either the filling nor the crunchy wrapper. My next critique is their handmade noodles. It is personal preference, but I prefer my noodles to be a lot more chewy and on the more al dente side of things, rather than the more soft noodles we got (both the wide and the original noodles). As for what I liked, it was just about everything else we got. The house noodle soup was nice and comforting, not being super heavy but still carrying good flavor (I would ask for the regular version and add in spice after tasting the broth). Both the fish and chicken dishes that we got were very interesting and I especially enjoyed the lightness of the fish dish. The soup dumplings we got were very flavorful, well balanced, and had a very bouncy yet soft wrapper texture. The cream baos, though admittedly lacking some vanilla and texture consistency across each bao, were still really good and comparable to ones you'd find in Bellaire. Overall, my experience was fairly good and I would go here again if I find myself in the Pearland area.

Fresh, perfectly balanced, and crafted with so much attention to flavor that every bite felt like its own experience. Even the edamame completely changed the way I think about edamame. Something so simple was transformed into something memorable. And the dessert? Absolutely spectacular. The presentation alone deserved applause, but somehow the flavor exceeded even that. It was one of those desserts you keep thinking about long after you leave. This wasn't just dinner -- it felt like an experience. Easily a 10/10, and honestly, it deserves even higher. One of those rare places that makes you excited to come back before you've even left the table. I've passed by Nishiki on numerous occasions so I was overdue to check it out. I stopped by on a Saturday morning with my mom for lunch. Free parking is easy in the shopping center they share with several other businesses including a bubble tea shop. Ambiance (5/5): Nishiki is an elegant restaurant without being stuffy. The decor is fresh and modern. Pretty much the perfect ambiance in my book. Service (5/5): Our waitress did a good job taking care of us. She stopped by regularly, she was efficient, and friendly. Everything you hope for in a service experience. Drinks (5/5): Nishiki has a full bar, but I opted for a Shirley Temple. No judgment lol. I used to love Shirley Temples as a kid. Not something you see on a lot of menus these days so it was a nice surprise. Food (5/5): The chef at Nishiki used to work at Nobu. No surprise as that level of excellence is seen in the food. Their sushi is hand rolled. I had the crunch roll which has tempura shrimp, crab, and avocado. I also tried a seasonal sushi item with scallops that's different from anything I've ever tried before. It was wrapped in seaweed and there is some plastic on the outside that you pull to keep your roll together. Cool concept! We also shared some gyoza and grilled edamame. Pro tip: go with the grilled edamame rather than the regular edamame. The grilled version has garlic and some other seasoning. Edamame to the next level. The food at Nishiki isn't cheap. But the quality is there. There's a reason the reviews are so good. It's now one of my favorite restaurants in town. Up there with Killen's BBQ.

Killen's never disappoints…read more Their beef ribs were just short of amazing. Juicy, succulent, tender. For a giant piece of meat on the bone, they worked wonders. You can ask to see the piece of rib before they cut it for you and they will happily oblige (patrons behind you might not be so thrilled with that move, but they'll live). Sides were excellent as were the mashed potatoes with white gravy on the side, green beans that were just tender enough, but also a bit crunchy. Perfect. They were seasoned with pork, so if that's not your thing, you might want to skip it. We also ordered their shareable onion rings, easily enough for three people that were huge, hot, and crispy. Let's get this out of the way, some of their prices are a little up there, but if you're anything like me, and don't frequent BBQ places often, it's a rare but enjoyable treat. Sometimes you have to splurge and live a little. Also, they have their regular sauce on tables, but you now have to ask the cashier for their sublime coffee BBQ sauce. Don't be shy, ask. It's worth it. Oh, pro tip: If you want beef ribs, the 'plate' is actually cheaper and a better deal than 'by the pound', so save a little money and get two sides.

We ordered the boiled sliced fish in hot sauce (a staple we always get at Szechuan restaurants) and the sizzling with three delicacies (shrimp and fish). The sauce on seafood meal was sooo good! I'm not sure if it's oyster sauce or bean sauce but it's amazing. I just poured the sauce on the white rice and literally ate it like that too. It was a bit cold inside the restaurant so we ordered some hot green tea to warm us up too. Over all great price for a delicious lunch.

Their bo ne also used to be one of my favorites. However, the beef is tender but cut/quality is not the same anymore. The pork chop rice platter is still a solid dish, which is probably the only thing I would come back for when dining here.
