I posted a review on here when I had many issues with Drive with pride where I purchased my vehicle.
    Norman K.

Please see the posted photos of the response I got on Facebook from the sales manager at Drive with pride. If this does not show the unprofessionalism of this company nothing will. It was intact Drive with pride that did not complete the paperwork. I had many issues with this company when I purchased my vehicle.

A LOT OF THEIR POSITIVE REVIEWS ARE FAKE!
    Brandon G.

The customer service here is TERRIBLE. The manager has a short temper. Stay away from Drive with Pride, AND their In house financing company "Mi Familia Autos". I questioned all the bad reviews to the manager, and he got so upset and crumbled and ripped the contract. Calls DO NOT get returned, and 95% if the cars from the in house financing company aren't safe to drive. I was put in 4 loaner cars, and 3 of them were in terrible condition, the last one FROM the retail side was in OKAY condition.- Don't fall for the FEW 5 star reviews because they are all FAKE . The company rewards the staff for getting friends & family to post 5 star reviews. Listen to everyone else and save yourself the time, stress and money and get a car somewhere else. Don't let them scam you!- I was so happy when they told me they couldn't go through with the deal because days before that, I was trying to find any way to get out of the deal! There are so many other dealerships in HOUSTON that will help you. :) (I found a car the day after leaving this dealership & ITS CUTE & way better than any if the loaner cars or cars I tried to purchase here.) - Do your research and do not buy from them

I am naturally skeptical of any used car dealership even more so one that has so many high ranking reviews. I didn't initially believe it and thought they were fake. Boy was I wrong! They offer a 7-day warranty on there vehicles and dont just sell you junk that you have to be worried about breaking down the minute you roll off the lot. They sold me a solid business van for my fleet, that had low miles and it was the cheapest priced vehicle online in the entire country. They are in business for the long haul and understand the importance of reputation. They treat people with the upmost respect regardless of price on car, like some other dealerships. Motors on Wheels went above and beyond for me to make sure I was 100% satisfied with the esthetics and mechanical integrity of my vehicle, which gave me peace of mind! Never experienced this level of customer service and professionalism from any dealership, not even the big manufacturer dealerships. They earned my business for life. I will be purchasing all of my future business vehicles from them!

I repeatedly told him not to call and to use text messages only for safety and documentation, but he kept calling anyway. Two weeks later, he contacted me again with the same question. I finally said, "Okay, $180,000 -- what is the process?" He told me he would send the paperwork and asked for my ID. I sent my driver's license and told him clearly: after you receive the car, I need the payment immediately. He said okay. Then suddenly he said he needed to "check the price again." The next day he told me, "Oh no, I can only pay $170,000." This dealership used a bait‑and‑switch tactic just to collect my driver's license information. They kept changing the price and wasting my time. ABZ Motors is extremely dishonest -- be aware.

Upon purchasing vehicle 2 months ago, I have not enjoyed my car buying experience. The vehicle went back 5 times and still leaking oil. First 1st time which was 02/14 I had it diagnosed, and the diagnostic center stated it was the Catalytic Converter, which I think they didn't fix, I believe they just reset the battery. Second time I went to AutoZone 03/04/25 and it still stated Catalytic Converter. Which finally they ended up fixing. Engine light comes on again and another diagnostic 03/16/25 states oil pump is needed. Showed salesman and he crumbled up my document stating AutoZone doesn't know what they are talking about, and threw it in the trash, which I requested him to retrieve for my documentation purposes. During this time, it was mentioned that my oil was leaking tremendously. (Which now I'm fined by HOA because my driveway looks horrible). Just received my car back last week on April 7 and now engine light is back on again, along with leaking oil. Also told them upon getting the car that I was hearing clunking noises on the passenger side in the back, when I turn or go over humps. They never looked into issue and now my mechanic is stating it may be suspension or structs. My 30 warranty is expired now, so now I'm stuck with major car repairs that I have to come out of pocket on. Long story short this is a nightmare that I'm trapped into because the bank still wants their funds.

Since I do not, the next best thing was finding LA Auto which is Woman owned and Operated to fix my ride! LA Auto was brought to my attention thanks to the Projects feature in the Yelp App. I sent out a request for a job or service and Yelp broadcasted it to businesses to reach out to me concerning the service. I had initially had a different mechanic before LA Auto that was going to do the job, but a price change occurred before the vehicle was in their possession. Decide to nix that mechanic and go back to the drawing board acquiring estimates for the job. By this point, I had already ordered and picked up my parts directly from the dealership so they would match my vehicle. All I needed was the labor to complete the repair. I was really intrigued that there was a Woman owned and operated auto shop in Houston, so I decided to reach back out to the shop about an estimate for labor. My inquiry was Friday afternoon, so I didn't expect to hear back until Monday. Liz, the Owner, however, was in contact with me in and out the entire weekend asking for pictures of the parts to ensure they were correct for the vehicle based on the VIN as well as making sure they didn't need to paint the handles. She gave me a range on the price for the labor, which I could understand because she never saw the vehicle before- only pictures of the damage. We did most of our communication on Monday which offerred a great opportunity for me to get the car fixed that afternoon since she had an opening. I honestly thought I may have to come back another day to get the job completed because EVERY OTHER BODY SHOP I SPOKE TO said I would have to drop the car off just to get an estimate. I did that with one Pearland body shop and received a quote of over a THOUSAND dollars just to fix some handles! They even stated the labor was high because the panels of the car had to be removed. Thanks to Youtube, II knew that was not the case and Liz the owner and my mechanic confirmed my research as she completed the work on the vehicle in less than an hour WITHOUT removing the inside panels. She worked fast and I was even able to see her work from the office which provides a chair or two inside for waiting customers. A/C is blizzard cold inside the waiting area, so bring a jacket. This is not your car dealership waiting room with tvs and refreshments, so bring your own, but Liz worked so fast I didn't need to indulge in either! Really friendly, sincere, and affordable service from Liz at LA Auto. I am so glad to not only have my car repaired (FINALLY, with the exception of one small part that the dealership gave me in error that doesnt affect the main fix) but I am so estatic to support a small business owned and operated by women. I am telling everyone I know about LA Auto if they ever need repairs on their vehicle. This place is a real gem and deserves to shine!

It had a broken crankshaft. TX Auto GRP sold me a lemon!!! To make matters even worse, I bought TX Auto GRP's warranty when I purchased the Jeep. Not only did the Jeep break down, but they could not honor the warranty that they sold to me. The Jeep literally sat in their services department for almost three months, and it was never repaired. It is still sitting there to this day. Not only could they not fix the vehicle, but they did not seek outside help (Jeep dealer) to rectify the issue so that I could get back on the road. I even offered to have it towed to my mechanic so that he could fix it, but I was told "It does not work that way." Beyond that, trying to get updates about the repair was almost impossible. Nobody would answer the phone or return my text unless I called the sales manager. After a while the sales manager just started letting my calls go to voicemail. I even tried to contact the owner, but nobody would put me in contact with him. It was the worst experience of my life and that is not an overstatement. Then the loaner car they gave me also had engine issues. The check engine light came on one day after I picked up the loaner. It started running rough, so it was not drivable either. After I told them what happened, nobody even offered to get me into another loaner car. I was now stuck with another TX Auto GRP mechanical issue. Finally, the Jeep Gladiator is not something that happened to me once. Nope! I have purchased four vehicles from TX Auto GRP over the past six years. The first vehicle I bought from them had major frame damage and the front end of the truck was welded up to the point that you could not even fix any of the damaged parts. They hid the frame damage by using bondo and paint. The next truck I bought had fuel system issues. I had the entire fuel system changed out twice just to clear the check engine light. The third truck was the only vehicle that I did not have issues with because I bought it from someone who came into the dealership to trade it in while I was there shopping for trucks. Meaning, it was not an auction vehicle that the dealer got super cheap so that he could then repair and sell off for a jacked up price. Three out of four vehicles that I have purchased from TX Auto GRP have had catastrophic failure. I highly recommend you stay away from this dealer unless you want to end up like me: Screwed out of your hard-earned money ... After all of that, I tried to get them to buy the Jeep Gladiator back and put me in something else, but they refused, so now I have to spend money on a lawyer, since I was basically forced to go buy a new vehicle, because they could not fix the lemon they sold to me.
