BUYER BEWARE. This business also known as Mi Familia Autos is a definite, "RUN THE OTHER WAY" dealer. They try to convince you that they will work a deal out with you and the deal consistently changes. They are definitely crafty and manipulative. They do not stand behind their word, so MAKE SURE ANY DEAL IS IN WRITING AND READ "All of the Fine Print". I can't stress this enough. I, personally, would have never dealt with this dealer but tried to help my son out after owning several cars and having poor credit. After he made so many mistakes, I did not want to co-sign so was forced to deal with Drive with Pride and guide him as best as I could. 3 weeks into owning the car, my son was terminated from his employer but enrolled into trucking school immediately after to ensure employment. He starts trucking school this Sunday with a guarantee of employment. Unfortunately, the bank did a second verification of employment and discovered my son was no longer at the job on record. They requested we return the car. We obliged and Greg the manager told me he WOULD return our deposit that we provided for the down payment due to the circumstances since the bank would not let my son keep the car despite not missing any payments. However, once we went to dealer, Greg said the owner would not give my son back the money that he was in breech of contract because he quit his job. However, this is not the case because my son was terminated. Greg also would not give me the owner's name which is fishy in, itself. What are they hiding and why can't I have his name? Now, once more, we need to be inconvenienced to provide additional documentation that my son was terminated in order to receive a refund on deposit. The problem is that I will get this paperwork to them, but I am confident that Drive and Pride will come up with another reason they won't return money. All they do is play games. Since day one in the process of purchasing this car, we went from a $200 payment, to a $220 payment, to a $250 payment to eventually a $320 payment. Each time they would say the deal was done, but then ironically, something new developed justifying their reason to raise the payment. We spent so much time going back and forth to this office with all of their changes to the original deal. My son was at their mercy. They LIE, LIE, LIE! They are a sneaky, and undermining company. BE EXTREMELY CAUTIOUS WHEN DEALING WITH THEM AND DEAL WITH THEM ONLY, IF YOU MUST. This is my opinion. I will be writing a letter to the Better Business Bureau and filing a claim against them at the TXDMV. I will be writing many letters and filing multiple complaints at all applicable agencies. I am going to do my best to get this dealership on the map for scamming their customers and doing my best to get their doors closed. I welcome anyone else who has had bad experiences to do the same. I know that I can't be the only one who has experienced this type of unprofessional behavior. I am a business woman, a wife and a mother. Drive With Pride - August 2016 Mini Cooper 2010- Had Check Engine light come on when driving vehicle home. Tried to return car, as stated below "72" hour buy back that is a JOKE! They rewrote contract gave a lower interest rate changed price of vehicle to less. Then I was told that they would pay for 12 month or 12000 mile warranty at their cost. Like an idiot I believed them. Warranty canceled 3 weeks after I took car, other contract not even valid the original one was what I was stuck with. I did get a CARFAX with car and 8/10/2016 DRIVE WITH PRIDE- Did maintenance inspection completed Cylinder head gaskets replaced, engine checked, fender liner replaced , fog light assembly replaced, interior trim checked , timing belt tension idler checked. I bought a 2013 Volkwagen CC on November 12 2015. it was a very nice car loved it only to notice that the headlights had issue and one not working. after i purchased it Nick told me it would be ready within the next week i wait and waited called nick finally to not have him anwer any of my calls.. I live over an hour and a half away so i found the time to drive down there to check it out and come to find out the vehicle hadnt been touched! so i go in to the office and nick sits me down and gets rude and tells me the car he had me driving a loaner vehicle he could be charging me $40 a day until my car was ready wait hold up its not my fault you sold me a car with issues! so i go about my business and leave and come back the following week to pick the car up the day before thanks giving finally get my car and the head lights are faded and not shining even 12 feet infront of me so i get into the u turn lane and go to volkswagen THEY REPLACED THE BULB that day and told me the off brand head light could and have caught other volkswagens on fire.... and he told me the other one as well was after market and told me to get replaced asap so not even a week later i got to volkswagen and have it replaced. to hear my oil is as thick as tar and way OVER DUE FOR a oil change! so i go ahead and get the oil changed .. TODAY DECEMBER 4th 2015 i went back to drive with pride because Marcus told me he spoke with the owner and i was going to be refunded my money the owner agreed.. so i go back down there make the hour and a half drive plus traffic and only to find out i would be speaking to NICk the manger who is very unprofessional and starts blowing up on me again and telling me i only wanted to bulbs replaced due to the color so forth well if i cannot see and a bulb is out i need to replace it! so i told him i have the bulbs in the car i can go get them to show you ... i go and get them he gets heated and very rude and i get rude back of course because im tired of getting the run around because i am 22 years old... Once he gets the bulbs in his hand he throws me out threatened to call the police if i do not leave i then tell him to return my property which is the headlight bulbs and he fails to do so ..... so i then ask him again very nicely and keep asking for my bulbs. so he does not go and stick them in another vehicle.... so MAIN THING DO NOT I REPEAT DO NOT BUY A CAR FROM THEM! Lets put This into Note, When you sign a contract you do not retract a contract. I focused on a vehicle and was told a low interest rate and monthly cost, I proceeded to sign a contract and the same day drove off with the vehicle that I had for a week, I was advised a bank was going to call to finalize everything this is where the top car buying scam happens. When the bank called they asked about features on my car and of course they asked about features that where non existent and I responded NO. The Dealer adds features that do not exists to up the cars value at drive with pride. If they wanted to do a good deal and known that they needed to add features to sell me a car, why not sell you a car with the features, common sense right. But in the mind of the dealer for trying to make more money they will just do that or Vin Etch to Scam you to pay more money for a car whose value is not that high. So I showed up to the dealership just for him to claim "Finance Fell Through". Trying to get me to sign another contract, and Up my interest Dramatically almost 10% Higher and my Monthly Cost. I Called It A Scam and the response I got was he was going to call the police. I demanded my car and money back, never will these people gain my business. I was recently rear ended at a stop light and unfortunately my beautiful Volvo XC90 was totaled. I have been put through the ringer mentally, emotionally, and physically. I was forced to have to find another vehicle while in the process of seeking medical treatment for my injuries. If you've ever dealt with any auto insurance company you understand my strife and struggle. The entire month has taken a huge toll on me in every aspect since the accident. With that being said, God looked out for me and provided this beautiful Volvo within my price range at Drive With Pride. The vehicle was not even on the lot yet when I saw it online. I immediately called to see when the vehicle would be available to look at. I did notice that the vehicle had some cosmetic issues that needed to be fixed before I agreed to take the vehicle. The entire buying/financing process took about four to five hours. However, it was agreed upon that the driver's side door and back panel would be repainted to correct the cosmetic damage. I did have a few issues throughout the week waiting for the vehicle to be picked up to the point that I was extremely frustrated with how it was being handled. However, in comes Nick M., the customer service manager, and HE was the saving grace to the entire process. He made sure that not only was my vehicle ready at the agreed upon time but he also compensated me by agreeing to reimburse me for having a second key made for my car. He is extremely professional and very diligent about getting the customer's problems taken care of. If everyone shared his sense of diligence the world would run a lot smoother. I purchased a used vehicle from Drive With Pride. During the test-drive, I noticed air was leaking from the tires. I informed the Sales Representative, Chris and he guaranteed the issue would be resolved during the 120-point inspection by an ASE certified mechanic. Later that day, I returned to complete the purchase of the vehicle. Apparently, the only thing that was done by the mechanic was putting air into the tire to stop the wheel sensors from going off. The day after the purchase, I called and spoke with Josh Milan, who promised to rectify the situation. I took the tire/rim to a local Rim Shop that Josh recommended and the technicians explained that the rim was cracked. They were unable to repair it because it was previously welded in too many different locations, compromising the metal. I called Josh to see if another rim can be purchased as a replacement. He said he spoke with the owner, who is not willing to do anything more. I have not been able to safely drive this $20k vehicle in the month I have owned it. After further investigation, Drive With Pride sold a vehicle with 4 multiply-cracked rims! How this was missed during the "120-point inspection" is a good question that they are unwilling to answer. Family-owned business? This is a major risk by putting MY family (and other drivers) at risk with this vehicle. The licenses plates have not even come in yet and the vehicle is on a spare, sitting in the garage. I went in to this dealership do to my credit being rather challenged .. i was waiting for my salesman when i saw two young men enter the office of i believe the sales manager the older man then treated and was very rude towards the young men.. then one of the young man walks out side and i noticed he seemed really angry... then right before he came back in the sales man walks in with two little boxed what looked like light bulbs. the old guy the sales manager im going to say stormed outside and began yelling and treating the young men like crap i then started thinking to myself if that is how they treat our future generation then there isnt a way i can buy a car there because how would they treat me a 58 year old woman... he then threatend to call the police on the young man i over heard him wisper to the lady checking people in and taking calls.. i wanted to step in and act like the young mans mother but that wasnt the true reason i was there ... the man i assume took the young mans light bulbs that were sold to him in his vehicle werent working properly and got new ones and then failed to return the bulbs to the young man afraid of an lawsuit due to their stupidness off selling a vehicle with headlight issues.. my advice would be to go to carmax they work with challenged credit and now im driving a 2014 BMW much nicer and lower miles than any vehicle on their LOT! -Patricia A. read more

This is the first car I've ever bought from a dealership. I grew up with the notion drilled into my head by friends and family that car dealerships were places of dread, and the salesman nothing but crooks; places to be avoided at all costs. My old car broke down and I didn't have the money to fix it or buy another one outright. I took a chance and went to Drive with Pride on recommendation of a coworker. To my surprise and delight, I found a good group of people who helped me figure out what was best for me. I felt like they actually cared about me and my situation. I was more than just a dollar sign. Will was my salesman, and with his help I found the perfect car that best suited my needs. I thought he would get sick of me as we looked at car after car; but he was professional and helpful throughout. After a car was selected, I sat down with Will and Lynn to figure out my finance options. My credit isn't top-notch, and I didn't have a lot to put down. Lynn was amazing! I don't know what kind of magic she worked, but I signed my name completely happy with my monthly payments. Finally, as everything was finalized the manager, Nick, personally reviewed everything, shook my hand, handed me the keys and waved me off. I had a very good experience with this company. I found the car I wanted and got financing through my bank before I ever went there to pick the car up. The actual purchase was very quick - about an hour (if you've bought many cars, you know that's impressive). Unfortunately, I ended up finding a better (for me) car that night when I went home - I am still kicking myself for having missed it in my initial searches. I was very nervous and embarrassed to return their car, but they talk about a 72 hour buyback so I just had to do it. This process was easy and took about 10 minutes and was done. I feel bad - my salesman, Nate, was awesome, but when you're talking about many thousands of dollars, you've got to do what's right for you. For the record, the car I was going to buy from them was immaculate and the price was low-normal. As for the dealership, they definitely specialize in low to moderate mileage used near-luxury and luxury and they probably attract more people that ought to be buying cash cars than financing Caddies. Not sure why this place is getting such horrible reviews, unless the horrible reviews are coming from people with horrible credit and or people who do not know how to negotiate a deal. When I went searching for my last vehicle I went here last because of the reviews I read on here but when I finally got here they had a great selection and weren't pushy at all. I dealt with Nick for awhile and than another salesman who was able to find me the mercury I was looking for. I had my own financing options available through my credit union and they were able to work with that as we did the paper work, they didn't try to pull any fast moves. I also know quite a bit about cars so I was able to look it over and it just needed an oil change and to be detailed again which they were able to take care of while we finalized the deal inside. I was approached by Emmanuel a very friendly not cocky big guy who greeted me and wanly asked me what it was that I needed and wanted from my next car? A different but great approach and I did not feel like I was being pushed at all and for me as a woman that was great! He took his time asking me about likes and dislikes all the way down to my color preference. I did not read the reviews on this website prior to visiting this dealership, and if I had I might have missed out. In my experience, the sales staff (Will and Nicholas specifically) were great. The vehicle that I was originally looking at had a radiator leak which was fixed. While this was going on, they allowed me to used one of their vehicles as a rental. This was before I had even decided to purchase the vehicle. Then, after the repairs were done I brought the vehicle home and my wife and I decided not to purchase it and instead looked at one of the newer car models. No problem. We test drove a Ford and decided that was the car for us. We ended up financing and while the process took several hours (we were financing a car after all), we were treated fairly and walked out with a nice vehicle. I had never heard of this company until my coworker recommended me to them. I was pretty spectacle at first. But as soon as I walked in, I was greeted immediately and a sales rep was also assigned to me at that moment. I was not sure that I would qualify for financing, but regardless they still offer options to get you in to a car. The whole transaction was very easy, pleasant and efficient.
