Your daughter messages them from a different phone number and asks if it's still available. They say it is and tell you to come on down today to see the car. You say ok, please send a video or pics of the interior and I will come today. They then say the car is being "reconditioned" and won't be ready to show until Wednesday. This happened twice on the same car with two different salespeople and same vin number. Don't waste your time.

I wanted to purchase it and the next day I called Mr. Charlie Williams, Owner, CH Auto Sales. This was my first red flag. He wasn't a very good salesman because he sounded angry, was very direct and didn't seem like he wanted to discuss the deal. Also, he was pushy and wanted me to sign the Purchase Agreement only after a few communications. On 15 July 2024, I signed the purchase agreement, scanned and emailed it to CH Auto Sales. Then Mr. Williams gave me verbal instructions to process a wire transfer for the amount of $1,254.00 for shipping the vehicle. I even repeated this information back to him to ensure our long-distance transaction would be accurately processed. He emailed the necessary information for the wire transfer, so I contacted my bank and processed the transaction for $1,254.00 that same day. On 22 July 2024, I requested a status of returning the shipping payment via email to CH Auto Sales, which received the email reply of "call your banker and tell about this! you a maked complaint and my bank account is locked now!" Now I'm not sure what legal or administrative action(s) to take to recoup my payment to CH Auto Sales, but he needs to be stopped now from doing it again. Mr. Williams' poor integrity clearly isn't consistent with American values because he took financial advantage of me. Please DO NOT purchase from him. Mr. Williams poor business practices and ability to steal money from potential buyer is NOT ethical. When I showed up, they hadn't even fixed the issue -- just held my car for 4 days, ordered parts, and told me to bring it back next week. Worse, Mr. Jordan was extremely rude, blaming me for calling late and implying that my expectations were the problem. Not once did they offer a loaner as promised or keep me in the loop. Bottom line: they wasted four days of my time, didn't fix anything, and treated me with complete disregard. While waiting for the Highway Patrol, I called the closest auto shop- Affinity Auto- to see if they could be sure my car would be able to drive back to St. Augustine that night. The entire staff was SO kind and considerate. They made sure the car was safe and only charged me the minimum charge to secure the bumper. The mechanic also noticed the tires were all a little low on air, so filled those for me, too. So nice ! THEN comes the amazing part. I drove about 10 minutes away and locked my freaking keys in the car. It was 5:05pm on Friday evening and they drove to my location and unlocked the car for me! Above and beyond! It was a pretty awful day for me, but Affinity Automotive made it as good as it possibly could be. THANK YOU!
