I made an appointment yesterday for today to run diagnostics on my 2001 f150 having a fuel/air issue. When I scheduled it they took all of my info about the truck. Year, mileage, issues. I even called them on the way this morning to let them know I was running late and they told me no problem. When I arrived and checked in, after struggling to drive there because my vehicle is having issues, I was told they won't help me because my vehicle is more than 15 years old. At no point during TWO phone calls in which they had all of the information about my vehicle did they tell me they couldn't offer me service. They wasted my time and almost caused me to break down on the side of the road for NOTHING trying to get there. What a colossal customer service failure. absolutely horrible. Completely Unprofessional - Stay Far Away from Peacock Ford I brought my EV to Peacock Ford for a basic tire rotation and an issue with the front camera. What followed was one of the most frustrating, time-wasting experiences I've ever had with any service center. Mr. Jordan promised that if diagnostics weren't completed the same day, I'd receive a loaner the next day. That never happened. He ghosted my calls, ignored multiple voicemails, and only responded days later with a text saying my vehicle was "ready." When I showed up, they hadn't even fixed the issue -- just held my car for 4 days, ordered parts, and told me to bring it back next week. Worse, Mr. Jordan was extremely rude, blaming me for calling late and implying that my expectations were the problem. Not once did they offer a loaner as promised or keep me in the loop. Bottom line: they wasted four days of my time, didn't fix anything, and treated me with complete disregard. I asked for tire warranty cause I didn't want gap. I pay gap coverage with my insurance. He said I had it and told me I was good. Today needed a tire due to a nail and nope no tire but I have gap and no signature where I denied gap or denied tire cause I never signed to deny it cause I wanted it. As a rule, I don't share negative opinions unless failing to do so will harm others. It is my unfortunate obligation to do so here. I have given Peacock Ford several chances to conduct honorable business (despite terrible experiences in the past) since they are only a mile from my house, but they always disappoint. I would rate my last interaction with them as unethical. My wife and I saw a Bronco Sport listed on Auto Trader by Peacock for a specific price, called and confirmed the car was there. When we arrived, the sticker in the window matched that price. When we indicated interest, the salesperson said that is not the price, but all Sports have something called a "bump" of $9,000 over the listed price due to popularity. I said that we invested the time to come there based on an online price, that we confirmed over the phone, which matched the sticker, and this felt like a classic "bait and switch". I asked to speak to the manager and he ran ahead of me and whispered something quickly to the manager before allowing us to speak. The manager immediately told me yes, all Sports have a "bump" of $7,000. Clearly, they didn't have time to even get the numbers to match but the manager supported this scheme. Long story short, we left and drove 20 minutes away to Sun State Ford where they sold us the exact same Sport for the exact sticker price. This is the latest interaction at Peacock, but they have all been poor. I have told this story multiple times to people in the market for a car and will continue to do so as I feel it is my responsibility to help others avoid poor business practices. By the way, this happened 3 weeks ago and I just took the attached picture - all three Sports are still there unsold on the lot. But after many years of working legal cases for Ford and seeing how much Ford cars about their vehicles, I knew my next car would most likely be a Ford. This literally was the same week everything ended up shutting down for COVID, so for months after I just kept researching prices, other Ford dealerships, and keeping tabs on the car. Fast forward to the week of Black Friday. After lots of research, I first went to a different dealership and had a terrible experience. Lots of dishonesty and feeling like I was treated poorly because I was a woman - this is NOT ok. At the same time, I was texting with Bill Green of Peacock Ford about what was going on. I then spoke with him on the phone and he was like a breath of fresh air compared to the other person I had been dealing with. Very kind and willing to try to work something out. I drove out to Peacock and I'll be honest, at first it was also a huge disappointment. They also were not able to originally get to the numbers I wanted, but after reworking some things and figuring a few things out, we were able to come to an agreeable price and I left with the car I had been wanting and fall more in love with each day! Dealing with the finance department was super easy. Trading my car in was too. The only thing that has been a bit difficult is scheduling tinting of my windows, but Bill handled that for me. I was impressed that this dealership was able to fix a notorious transmission problem with my F150 last year. I had it to two dealers in the area that were unable to resolve the problem, and I was pleased that their tranny specialist Scotty was able to conquer the task. However, I recently took my truck in for a simple oil change and tire rotation last month and had issues. The service advisor informed me that I had an oil leak. So I scheduled the repair for the following week. For some reason, they still changed the oil despite knowing it would be done again the following week. This cost me nearly $300. They should have held off on the oil change rather than pushing it through and charging me unnecessary money. The repair was supposed to take 5-days, but ended up taking 2-weeks. I requested a loaner vehicle with a trailer hitch, but that never happened despite fighting the issue. I had to hire a driver to move our work trailer between job sites that cost me $400. The service manager was actually considerate and waived the loaner car fee for my inconvenience. I could have overlooked this issue, but when I finally got my truck back, I noticed a ding in the driver side door. My truck is immaculate, so I know for certain this happened at the dealership. I basically just gave up, as they seem too busy to care about customer service. Customers should never feel this way, but it is what it is. Update- I brought my truck here a few days ago for an oil change. Today I started hearing a weird grinding sound coming from the back wheel so I brought it back in. Turns out they did not tighten the lug nuts enough and the wheel was loose. This is obviously a huge safety hazard. It has now been over an hour that I've waited for the vehicle. Looks like I'll be taking my vehicle elsewhere in the future. ---------- I haven't bought a car here, but I've had some service done and taken a test drive. I come here for my oil changes because they include a basic checkup and fluid topoff as part of the service. The parking lot is a bit run down and has some trash scattered around. Not the cleanest environment and could use a repaving. The lobby is pretty boring. Only 1 car inside and no tvs or anything to entertain. They were giving me such a low price on my Vehicle and wanted full price on a used one. They wouldn't meet me anywhere near half way. I felt the finance manager was unprofessional and curt. She was blaming me for the deal not going well and told me I was looking for "Magic." I'm from Detroit and I know cars. They did not appear to be truly trying to make a fair deal. The scales on my vehicle were at rock bottom and their used vehicle was at the highest price possible. It was absolutely an example of hemianopsia. They acted like giving up $700 on my favor was a great gift. The finance manager tried to use shaming techniques as if i owed them some kind of favor. When I decided to walk, the manager Billy was rude and displayed behavior that i find lacks dignity and respect for others. Sneering at me. Very bad experience. They need to make it right or I won't be back. Lastly, he, Billy kept threatening me that someone else was going to buy the vehicle. The mystery man never showed up. Then Billy claimed he told the guy to not come because I was there. In the end the sales person I was working with, Bill, said he was the one wanting to buy it. I knew then they were all liars. Brought my fleet vehicle to this location as it was the closet location to my house. The service attendants were friendly in person and got me squared away to have my vehicle serviced. That's where the services ended. The guy helping me checkin didn't bother to give me any contact info or even a card. When I tried to call a couple weeks later for an update I had no idea who I was working with so I had to describe the attendant to the receptionist when I called in to their service line. Every time I called for an update, and by the way no one ever reached out to give me an update I had to call in every time, I was sent around to different lines or told to call a person's cell phone and speak to them. The majority of the time I left a message for someone to call me back and out of the four or five times I called in only 1 person returned my call. There were also multiple people that I was directed to each time I called which was equally frustrating. I ended up giving up trying to contact anyone at the service dept. Once the car was eventually finished I did receive that call and proceeded to pick up car. Again the attendants at the service dept were helpful and friendly once you were there live, in person, and in their face. I've had the vehicle back for 3 days and another issue has arisen that I now have to deal w/ them again. Something had fallen of the engine area, the area that was being serviced, and began to be dragged under my vehicle. I had to try to make shift fix the problem until I can head back into the dealership to once again be looked at. I definitely will not be coming back to this location after I bring my vehicle to be fixed hopefully one last time by this location. read more

I look pretty young and make decent money. The dealership picked up on this and tried to take advantage of me. I was quoted a price for a vehicle during test drives, and was shown a different (higher) one at the time of purchase. They refused to budge on price and decided to bring in a "manager" to speak with me. This guy tried to aggressively pressure me and stiff-arm me into over-paying. He explained how knocking a few hundred off the Blue-Book value was pricing it to sell fast, and that I would be lucky to find something so great. When I asked about lowering the price more, he said that I should just put more money down to lower the monthly payments (that's not lowering the total cost). When I asked if there was any more wiggle room, I was told the math didn't add up and that I apparently wasn't smart enough to understand. I was amazed at how he tried to make me feel like I had no power in the decision. I also asked to see an itemized bill before signing anything because the price didn't match what we previously discussed, and was told they "would do their best" to get that around and ready. After waiting around for about 3 hours and going back and forth with this "manager" about how I "just don't understand" for another half an hour, I walked out. I'm not going to deal with people who try to add pressure to the situation. You hold all the power because you don't have to spend your money here. I dealt with Don Reid for many years and was very happy. Since the dealership was purchased by Peacock Ford, I have had two very bad experiences with the service department. Several months ago, I took my wife's Flex in to have the A/C repaired. The quote was approximately $750.00. Before having the A/C repaired at Peacock, I took it an auto A/C service business that has been in Orlando for many years. They fixed the problem for $99.00. The A/C has worked perfectly since then. About a week ago, I was told that my Ford F-150 (which I bought when it was Don Reid) needed repairs to the coolant system and the system needed to be flushed. The estimated cost was in excess of $700.00. Before having it serviced, I took it a repair shop that has been in Orlando for a very long time. They did a pressure test and found that no repairs were needed. The cost of the pressure test and a complete flushing of the coolant system was less than 50% of what I was quoted by Peacock. I do not recall ever giving any business a review like this. In this case, I feel compelled to do so. I will not again do business with Peacock Ford. read more

I have had some issues with the driver's seat and alarm randomly going off and when I got into car to figure it out the "tailgate ajar" notice was on. I called THREE days a in a row and when I pressed option 2 for service it would ring and then go to a dial tone and cut me off. I also tried to reach operator and got voicemail. In short - they provided very poor customer service, and they didn't follow their own return policy as stated on the receipt. I ended up stuck with a $450 part they recommended, that I never needed. The excuse given was that the return was past 20 days from the original purchase. The receipt mentioned no time frame required for the return. It only stated that the part had to be in the original, unopened box, which it was. Because it was a custom order (even though it was a standard part), I had to pre-pay for the part. Because the part took three weeks to come in, the 20 days expired before the part even arrived!?! This is very disappointing considering I bought 2 trucks from this dealership in the past, including the vehicle for which this part had been ordered. When you buy a vehicle here, they promise excellent customer service; however, they fell way short the one time I had an issue. I will no longer recommend this dealership. Find another Ford dealership that follows through on their promises and their own stated policies. read more

We were long-time customers of Don Reid Ford, but we are looking for a new shop. Since becoming Peacock Ford, this dealership has gone way downhill. We bought our 2017 Escape at Don Reid about a year ago, and had been getting all our vehicles serviced here for years (we also own a 2009 Mustang and a 2011 Ranger). We were used to being treated like a valued customer. Lately, not so much. Recently, the Escape's check engine light has been coming on intermittently. We were getting messages in the Ford app telling us that there was an engine misfire and to take the vehicle to a dealer for immediate service. So we took it to Peacock. We made an appointment for Saturday morning for a diagnostic on the engine and also asked for a car wash and oil change while we were taking it in. The service agent never even wrote up the check engine light, but told us when we picked up the car that that was part of the oil change service and that it was "probably" fixed when they changed the oil anyway. It wasn't fixed. I'm pretty sure nobody even looked at it, because the check engine light came back on almost immediately after driving out of their parking lot. On Monday, I called and let the service department know we still had an issue with the check engine light coming on. They scheduled us for Tuesday morning, and we dropped our car off at 8:15 am. They called me at 5:45 pm to pick up the vehicle by 6:00 pm, saying they had not been able to recreate the problem or get the check engine light to come on at all. We let them know we would do our best, but that we might not be able to get there by 6:00. My husband rushed to pick me up, and we got to Peacock Ford by 6:15. They were closed and I was very lucky that someone could get my keys for me. When I started my car, the check engine light was still on. So I tried calling the dealer on Wednesday to schedule and got put on hold forever. I never got through. Then today, I got through to the service department to schedule. No apology for this being my third attempt to get my engine repaired. The person I spoke to was having issues with their scheduling software and instead of getting scheduled for an appointment, she hung up on me. No one even bothered to call me back. I guess if your vehicle is still under warranty, you're a low priority. We are not even going to try to schedule with Peacock Ford. We're still happy Ford owners, but we expect better service from a Ford dealer. read more
