The staff here are so nice too! Super tolerant as my indecision took over my brain seeing so many pastries! I think not having anyone behind me helped with that - a rare slow moment - because once the door opened I waved the white flag, asked them to pick me 3 of their favorites and off I went. At the Bellevue Square location, parking is much easier. You can park in any of the mall garages or outdoor lots for free. It's first come, first serve, but weekdays are usually not too busy. Weekends tend to be much busier, though you'll probably still be able to find a spot. The shop itself is very small and can feel pretty cramped. It's difficult to move around when there are a lot of people inside, and the lines can get a bit long. There are only a few tables available for seating. I stopped by with my mom to try the Mango Mochi Coconut dessert that I'd been wanting to try for a while. It came out to around $12. The dessert itself was really good, I loved the coconut flavor. It had a smooth, pudding-like texture with soft mochi pieces that made it unique and super enjoyable. One downside was the customer service. The staff didn't seem very friendly, and everything felt a little rushed. I also thought they had a rewards program here, but apparently it's only available at some of their other locations, which was disappointing. Everything was amazing. My husband loved the Lemon Tart--incredibly flavorful. My ultimate favorite of our sampler--the Rustic Chocolate Cake: chocolatey, moist, and lovely mousse; this cake is the best chocolate cake I have ever had. A very close second was the Pistachio Baklava--everything baklava should be: flaky, buttery, syrupy- also a top contender for the best baklava. What struck me the most was the hospitality. Miss Daniela made note that baklava should not be eaten cold; she took the time to warm up the baklava, and let us know that the Berliners are best eaten day off. We had no choice but to listen to the expert. The only drawback is that the bakery is only open two days during the week, but it can also be a blessing in disguise, as I would be lined up every day! Notable mentions to the STRAWBERRY and GUAVA, as they both tasted how I thought they would. I was sadly disappointed with the PISTACHIO and PEACH since their flavors were not as pronounced...
