A fun store with tons of beautiful delights, trinkets, gifts for family/friends, and sweet cards. The owner is amazing and helpful if you ever are looking for something specific. Lots of local artists and items are for sale, as well as fair trade international items. I go here when I'm shopping for a gift and find both that and a fun thing for me as well. This store is full of cute items and it's a happiness boost when you need it on a dreary Seattle day. This place has a little something for everyone, from baby gifts to jewelry, lotions and bath stuff and clothing to Moleskin books. Seriously, whatever gift you're in search of- be it white elephant or extraordinary... or just stocking stuffers, you'll probably be able to find it Andaluz. When I was in about a month ago, they were having a trunk show- lots of great apparel from a local designer. Good stuff.. Some of it reasonable, some of it pricey.. but all of it cute. This store breaks my heart. Everything is so cute and smells so good and I am not nearly rich enough to buy all of it. No, really, I mean all of it. It's not like it's crazy expensive, they just have that much cool sh*t. The staff is friendly; the inventory is original and funky. I found my new signature scent here and one of the hottest shirts currently housed in my wardrobe. Be prepared to spend some time looking, you may find your new favorite clothing item in a pile of other things that have the potential to be your new favorite clothing item. I dare you to go to Andaluz and walk out empty-handed. I went hoping to find a gift for a friend and left with gifts for three friends and one for myself. They truly have made the most of a small space; I cannot imagine cramming in one more item. And such an eclectic inventory: yummy soaps and lotions, hand-made jewelry, artistic cards and prints, adorable baby supplies, books, handbags and clothing, and knick-knacks galore! I love Columbia City, and this is another reason why I do. This store is absolutely amazing! I love everything that this little boutique carries. Free People, Tulle, Kenzie, Ad:Hoc- my ultimate fave! I'm in danger everytime I walk by because it's one of the many stores that's like a magnet to my wallet. I must say though, it's so worth it to look around, you're bound to find something you'll like from the glam kitten to the ultra-Bohemian look- it has it all-and at amazing prices. When you discover Aundaluz it's like finding a pearl in a oyster. Love this place, stuffed with tons of cool stuff. Plan on spending some time because you might miss out on a great find if you just do a quick look. This unique little boutique is another hidden gem in Columbia City. You'd expect to find a shop like this on Capitol Hill, but I'm stoked to have it right here in CC! Andaluz, is, well, awesome. What makes them "awesome" in my book, you may ask? Well, they carry products that are just so cool that you really can't find anywhere else. Andaluz is really cute, but cramped shop. They're like a mini-Fireworks with doodads that appeal to the eye and piques our curiosity. It's the type of place where you HAVE to look at EVERYTHING before you leave. Really fun to window shop in here also. Clothes, trinkets, household items, hygiene items, gag gifts...This is the place to find a good friend a unique not-too-pricey-but-I'm-not-a-cheapass-either type of gift. Took my wife here a few weeks ago and she went nuts! Touching everything and wanting to try on dozens of clothes. I didnt know this place existed in our little neighborhood. It was like those trendy, but personal and quaint boutiques you stumble upon in Fremont or Ballard, but without the insanity of boutique prices. Lots of quality, assorted, unique gifts for any woman in your life; wife, sister, hostess gift, niece, mother, baby-sitter, co-worker. This place has something for everyone! The owner is fantastic and her one employee (the only other girl I've ran into there) will give you deals here and there on certain items! I found gives for my cousins 16th B-day to my well-to-do boss! The lady's don't mind if you make a mess looking though all there clothes or try a sample of the crazy lip gloss! They have jewelry, clothes, makeup, great calendars, notebooks, dishes and such, pretty much a little bit of everything. Also be sure to check out the sale bin! Andaluz is a store I would LOVE to visit (frequently I'm sure), but unfortunately, I live in Colorado. Luckily, they have a Facebook page where I can find enticing products and offers on a daily basis. While they do not offer internet shopping, they will ship orders if you call or email. For the past couple of years I have ordered stocking stuffers from Andaluz and I'm happy to be able to share, my stocking stuffers always arrive on time and are always a hit. Items I have purchased run the gamut from Foie Gras bubble gum to Roller Girl Candy Cigarettes to Nina Bread Cookie Cutters. Always unique and amusing (like the stores owner); each item is the perfect finishing touch for my family's holiday season. This year I had some items shipped to my "man-friend" and I received 5 emails thanking me. The clothes look amazing, I wish I was closer so I could try them on, I'm certain if I knew they would fit me that I'd have a new wardrobe. This store just might be enough to convince me to take my next vacation in Seattle! read more

I'm here in town for business but try to get out and see things during my down time. I came across this boutique while I was out exploring. What an awesome store. You could be in there for hours and still not see everything. Everything in there is unique and fun. Since I'm visiting I planned to get Seattle postcards at some point but I found these beautiful handmade map cards with illustrations over top. Gorgeous! My favorite purchase! Recently I was house-sitting in the neighborhood and stopped in after reading some stellar reviews on Yelp. Andaluz delivered...almost too well. I had to get out of there before I threw my budget out the window. I was greeted by a very sweet, stylish woman and began pursuing their whimsical displays. They have a plethora of interesting gifts and cards that I will definitely keep in mind for birthdays and holidays. I have to keep it real though: I was mostly interested in the clothes and jewelry. Like a crow I am attracted to bright colors stuff that sparkles, and there's tons of that here, and I found a number of unique, stylish pieces that were generally of high quality without breaking the bank. Some items veered toward pricey, but there were some great deals to be had as well. The same went for the jewelry-- I had to restrain myself from buying several beautiful pieces from local designers. I immediately began the process of mentally accessorizing outfits I have at home with their necklaces, scarves, bracelets and earrings...and then I had to step away before it was too late. Once I take mental ownership, it's all over. There was a sale going on and I was hoping to find something at a discount, but what really caught my eye was unfortunately full price: a summery dress that reminded me of my trip to Mexico a few years ago. For a girl that buys mostly discount and second hand stuff, it's a big deal for me to pay full price for anything. I walked away from the dress only to return the next day to get it, and I'm glad that I did. I feel that I've already gotten my money's worth with all the hot weather we've had! Another thing that sets Andaluz apart is their mastery of the cute sweater to wear over your dresses to make them work-appropriate and keep you warm after summer is over. They have some excellent options here, and I'm sure I'll be back after the heat wave...it's easier to justify a closet full of dresses when you can extend their wear past summer! read more
