Oopsie Daisie & Concord Crush
Jacqui C.

Drink, but without the I. This is more than likely going to be my final review of 2024, so here it is. Since I first visited Durango Casino, I've always wanted to check out Drnk, a nice bar right smack dab in the middle of the Eat Your Heart Out food hall. They have some very colorful frozen cocktails that I wanted to try. You place your order at the bar before taking your seat. We were helped out by Kaleb, who was one of the bartenders here alongside Richard. I'm a huge fan of fruity alcoholic drinks, so I tried their Concord Crush frozen cocktail, which contained fruity ingredients such as blueberry, grape (hence the name Concord), and lemon. My boyfriend tried their Oopsie Daisie frozen cocktail, another fruity cocktail which contained raspberry, pineapple, and lime. He suggested that we get them in a small cup since we drove here. These were some excellent drinks and I wish I had more of this! This bar is also great to watch a game. There was an electronic poker machine sitting in front of me, but I didn't play it because I'm not really a gambling person by all means. I would only come here just to have a drink or two and watch a sporting event. Oh, and you are allowed to bring food from surrounding restaurants here as well. I can definitely see myself coming back here again in the future. Such a great bar to hang out at!

After 3 visits, I have mostly positive comments about DRNK. Gotta love the name! The logo cups are cute, and some drinks have garnish (i. e. dried bananas in Dirty Banana) While gaming, a small frozen cocktail of your choice is comped. The first frozen DRNKs I had here were delicious! The bartender was nice and took care of me. I won playing video poker to! On the second visit, I put my player's card in and ordered the Aperol Spritz. The bartender brought a full size DRNK, and I told him I'm playing. He said he didn't know, and said I could keep the DRNK. Fine with me! And again, winner on video poker. Menus are visible at the bar, which is very helpful! On my third visit, the bartender told me the frozen DRNKs aren't comped. Say what? ? He asked another employee and returned to tell me the small frozen is comped. I know, I said. How he didn't know that is baffling.... The bar is open to the patio behind it, which adds a nice indoor/outdoor experience even when it's hot. My favorite DRNK so far is the Tropical Batida. Close to perfect flavor and so refreshing! The Dirty Banana is great too! I'm impressed with the frozen drinks and love having this option when gaming.

Belgian White draft beer with head

This bar is inside the new Durango casino. There was plenty of seating available when we were there. They don't have Blue Moon which was disappointing so I decided on Belgian White draft instead. I got the 16 ounce which seemed super small and my beer was served with a head (foam which equals less beer in my cup). It was $8.67 which I thought was pricey. Next time I'll just go to the store in the casino and buy a can of beer.

a drink in a plastic cup on a table

Our cousin brought us a slushy drink for $2X. It tasted good but sip slowly since it can give you a brain freeze. As the night progressed, both my husband and I developed a slight headache. We're sensitive to alcohol so by the end of the night, we knew they used bottom shelf alcohol and just masked it with all the sugar and ice.

In Kailebs Sheets

Kailebs intuition is phenomenal! Awesome customer service, exceptional attentiveness, ease of conversation and grrrrrrreat vibes (Word to Tony the tiger)! He was impeccable when it came down to brainstorming a drink for me when i mentioned i love citrusy, smoky, very low sweetness in my well-drinks. Ladies and gentlemen, if you are any bit interested in trying this fabulous drink make sure to ask for "In Kailebs Sheets" and you won't be disappointed...And if you are, then try one of his other genius ideas!

The frozen Irish coffee is delicious. I've had it twice already and would definitely go back. Julian the bartender I had today was so friendly and made my drink very festive!!

Kaleb and Richard fun and amazing bartenders at the drnk bar they are the reason why we go to Durango station

Super yummy drinks and great service. Bartender was professional and friendly. Would visit again.

My two favorite bartenders for this bar, Kaileb & Richard.

This bar is always a great quick stop for a shot or drink on the way to your next destination!! Their machines always seem to hit for me as well. Must try their alcoholic slushies

Richard and Kaileb are the dynamic duo! If you're looking for a great tasting drink and phenomenal customer service visit Drink located inside Durango @ Eat Your Heart out. If you like espresso martinis order a Kaileb special and you won't regret it. Richard will always make sure you're taken care of and happy with your drink. This is mine and my girlfriend's favorite place to drink inside the Durango with the best bartenders!

Vibe: Sophisticated, Professional, and Energetic…read more For anyone looking to impress a client, close a deal, or celebrate a milestone with colleagues, finding the right venue for a business lunch can be a delicate balancing act. You need an environment that is sophisticated but not stuffy, lively but quiet enough for serious conversation, and supported by a culinary program that commands respect. The George Sportsmanship Lounge delivers on all of these fronts with remarkable grace, redefining what a modern business lunch can--and should--be. The Atmosphere: Polished Athletic Heritage Meets Executive Comfort Walking into George, you are immediately struck by how masterfully the design bridges the gap between a high-end club and a refined, modern lounge. The decor pays a tasteful, artistic homage to the spirit of "sportsmanship"--think rich leather banquettes, beautifully curated vintage sporting photography, warm walnut accents, and low, ambient lighting that feels incredibly exclusive. For a business lunch, the layout is exceptionally well-thought-out. The seating is spaced generously to offer genuine privacy for confidential conversations, and the acoustics are engineered beautifully; there is a vibrant hum of energy in the room, yet you never have to raise your voice to be heard across the table. It strikes the perfect balance of prestige and approachable comfort. The Food: A Masterclass in Contemporary American Cuisine While the ambiance sets the stage, the culinary execution is the true star of the show. The menu at George elevated our business lunch from a standard meeting into a memorable dining experience. We started with the Yellowtail Crudo, which was exceptionally fresh, accented with a vibrant citrus-yuzu vinaigrette and thinly sliced serrano peppers--a light, refreshing starter that perfectly primed the palate. For the mains, our table ordered the Dry-Aged Ribeye Frites and the Pan-Seared Chilean Sea Bass: The Ribeye: Cooked to a flawless medium-rare, the steak boasted an incredible crust and a rich, deeply savory flavor profile. Accompanied by truffle-infused hand-cut frites and a velvety chimichurri, it was a decadent but perfectly portioned lunch masterpiece. The Sea Bass: This dish was a revelation. Flaky, buttery, and resting on a bed of ginger-infused heirloom grains and baby bok choy, it was light enough for a midday meal while remaining deeply satisfying and complex in flavor. Even the non-alcoholic beverage program deserved applause; their mocktails, particularly the cucumber-basil press, were sophisticated and felt just as celebratory as a traditional cocktail. The Service: Impeccable, Swift, and Discreet Great food can easily be overshadowed by poor service, but at George, the staff understands the rhythm of a business lunch. From the moment we were greeted by the host, the service was seamless. Our server was incredibly knowledgeable about the menu, offering precise recommendations and timing the courses beautifully. Crucially for a business meeting, the staff practiced "discreet hospitality"--they were highly attentive, ensuring water glasses were always filled and plates were cleared promptly, yet they never interrupted the flow of our conversation at critical moments. The entire meal was paced perfectly, wrapping up within a comfortable 75 minutes, leaving us plenty of time to return to the office without feeling rushed. The Verdict The George Sportsmanship Lounge successfully shatters the mold of the traditional, outdated steakhouse business lunch. By combining a stunningly curated, upscale atmosphere with world-class gastronomy and highly professional service, they have created the ultimate venue for the modern executive. It is a masterclass in hospitality, and it has easily secured its spot as my go-to recommendation for lunch meetings. Highly Recommended for: Client entertainment, executive team lunches, and power midday dining.

Very disappointing experience at The George at Durango. We were the only table seated outside, yet…read morethe service was surprisingly inattentive. Our server (the one with the cowboy tattoo on her left arm) didn't bring us water until about 10 minutes after we were seated. When she finally came over, we ordered an appetizer while we continued looking at the menu. After putting in the appetizer, she returned to the bar and spent a significant amount of time talking with the bartender. She made eye contact with us multiple times but never came over to check if we were ready to order. When she eventually returned, she reached for our menus as if we were finished, and we had to stop her to let her know we were actually ready to order our entrees. Considering we were the only table on the patio, we expected much more attentive service. The food was good, but unfortunately the service overshadowed the entire experience. I hope management addresses this, because the restaurant deserves service that matches the quality of its food.

Parking lot was busy so I thought this place was going to be busier but luckily there were a lot of seats available. Taco & Tequila Tuesday menu was amazing. I got the asada, al pastor, and fish taco. Al pastor taco was the best one! Ordered a flight of beers too. I really liked the Mexican lager and raspberry lager. I would come back again to try more beers. Our server, Luis, was so welcoming, kind, and friendly. He suggested the right food and drinks. We didn't realized they closed at exactly 9p until it was 9:30 and we noticed them cleaning up. He told us that we were fine and we could hangout a little longer. I look forward to coming here again. I saw their brunch menu and I might want to come back for that!

When Great American Pub first opened, it was fantastic -- solid food, good vibes, and most importantly, exceptional staff. Ryan, the manager, and Sunshine, the bartender, were the heart and soul of this place. They were welcoming, professional, fun, and actually made you want to be there. You didn't just feel like a customer -- you felt like a regular. Then corporate changes started rolling in. The menu was changed... and then changed again... and each time it got worse. Food quality and options went downhill fast. But people (myself included) still came because Ryan and Sunshine made the experience worth it. Then Ryan was suddenly moved to another location. Huge loss. At that point, Sunshine was the ONLY reason many of us still came. She had a following for a reason -- she is hands-down one of the best bartenders I've ever encountered. Friendly, attentive, remembers people, builds community. The kind of person who is the brand. And then, right before Christmas, she was effectively removed as well -- shuffled into an "on-call" role bouncing between locations. That was the final nail in the coffin. Now? The food is bad. The atmosphere is off. The new management has completely missed the mark. And the soul of this place is gone. I don't go anymore -- and neither do a LOT of regulars. We follow Sunshine wherever she is because she is the experience. This bar lost its neighborhood when it lost its people. If corporate is paying attention: Bring Sunshine back. And take a hard look at why the best people keep disappearing while the product keeps getting worse. This place used to be special. Now it's just another example of how to lose a loyal customer base by pushing out the very people who made it work in the first place.
