I love the idea of a place like this. From what I've heard, you can probably repair a chipped iPhone at a cheaper rate if you're a good DIY person but that's not me nor do I have the time. I popped in at 915, they told me an hour and when I was back at 10 it was good as new. Also, I don't know how well advertised it is but they offer free repair if the screen stops working after repair (provided it's not broken / scratched). Pretty nice guarantee. read more

These guys did a great job. They are smart and kind and fun and affordable. They successfully completed a job that another repair company (which Mac911 recommended for mobile device repairs) said could not be fixed. The damage required replacement of the whole camera and lens mechanism for my Iphone 6. (I smashed the camera by mistake when I closed the hatch on my chevy Volt. Ouch.) They were quick too. They answer the phone promptly. They got to my repair right away, and called me at home less than an hour later when it was ready to be picked up. And now I'm very happy with my iphone camera working perfectly again. From start to end, I could not have been more pleased. I stopped in here to get my iPhone 5s repaired...these guys were great. Very helpful and they fix more than screens. They replaced my "home-button" and gave me some really helpful advice. Both the tech...Rafael...and the manager took a lot of time not only to do the repair...but to help me understand additional features of my phone and how to use them. I brought in an Otter-box screen cover and they put it on at no extra charge and the repair was less than they quoted me on the phone. I recommend them VERY highly! read more

Literally never go here. Had my screen and battery replaced, and within a few months the battery had completely died (no doubt an old battery just taken from another phone). My phone was missing 5 screws that should have been holding in my screen and front camera. How do I know this? My screen just popped off one day from a light drop. read more

Recently, I was having a problem with my 3 year old Samsung Galaxy S4 phone. It would randomly shut off even though the battery meter indicated almost full. Then it would refuse to power on unless I plugged in the charger. I wasn't sure if it was a hardware or software problem. So I called several local cellphone repair stores to see if they could help diagnose the problem. One of the stores I called was DropSmashFix in West LA. Over the phone I described the phone problem to Wendy, who said they had a Samsung OEM battery I could try out to see if it would resolve the problem. So I drove to the store and showed the problem phone to Wendy. She brought out the S4 replacement battery, which turned out not to be OEM. We tried out the replacement battery in my phone anyway. The phone powered on without a problem and seemed to work normally, indicating my 3 year old battery was the issue. I was tempted to buy the replacement battery but it did not have the Near Field Communication (NFC) built in. I decided to look for an OEM battery with the NFC. Initially, I called around to get a quote for a repair on my iPhone 5s charging port. This place gave me the cheapest quote, so I decided to drop in and get my phone fixed. As I arrived, I was approached by a guy named Rafael (the repair guy). Immediately, he walked from the back and looked at my phone. In an instant, he realized what was wrong with the charging port and fixed it. Afterwards, I asked him "How much I owe you". He replied, "Nothing, but can you yelp us". I was so surprised and at awe towards his response, so I said " Of course". In any case, Rafael was very honest to me. He could of taken my phone in and an hour later called me to pick up my phone; and then charged me. However, he didn't. This too me says a lot about a person's character, so I highly recommend this place. It's very difficult to find people that aren't always out to take advantage of others. I brought my i-phone 4 in to replace the battery. At $40, it was a reasonable price. They replaced it very quickly (less than 10 minutes). While the battery life was better than before, I noticed it was overheating and turning off and the battery life indicator wasn't working.
