BEWARE!!!!! This place installs third-party screens. Reason it only takes an hour is because I don't use the proper protocol required by Apple to replace the screen. When I went to replace the battery on my iPhone at Apple, I was told it was a third-party screen and that whomever had installed it compromised the use of my phone. Apple told me my entire phone may not be functional because of this. When I called the company to notify them they told me they had a 30 day warranty and that's it. They didn't tell me anything about it. So now I'm out the $200 to replace my broken screen and another $200 at Apple to put on the inappropriate Apple screen. They never warned you of this situation, they never warned you that your phone my break because of this. BAD BUSINESS!!! Stay away from this place and get your repairs on an apple instead. The price is exactly the same and you're at least have a functioning phone. read more

iPhone6 Water damage (among other things) Dead- would not turn on Fixed within 1.5 days by Edward Cost $43 I like my adventures. My phone's been dropped multiple times, rained on, and slipped down a cliff. Thanks Apple for the utmost quality of your products. When my camelbak spilled in my bag, it finally gave out. My phone soaked in the bag for 5 minutes before I took it out. (Unintentionally, yikes) The initial glimmer of hope quickly vanished and turned into deep despair as the screen turned black and responded to nothing. Water damage should be common enough... right?? DSF proved this to be true. DSF seems clean and organized. (I peeked into the back) They have a routine for water damaged phone. They will first run the water damage process - which luckily revived my phone. (I assume that they opened the phone and tried to clean it up) If that doesn't work, they said they will look into replacing specific parts. It's good to know that additional repair options could potentially be available if the process didn't work. They never had to reset my phone. I got my phone back as if nothing has ever happened to it. Thanks to DSF I didn't have to suffer the consequences of my stupidity :p read more

I was fortunate enough to have Rafael take care of me today and he knew immediately what the issue was and fixed it in just a few minutes. I had dropped my phone in water for a few seconds, and I couldn't get it to turn off, and it's now in perfect condition again thanks to Rafael. He has a really nice attitude, and is obviously great at what he does. My previous experience here (for a replacement battery) was also very positive, which is why I returned. About a year ago, my son's iPhone screen broke, so I took it in to DropSmashFix to have the glass screen replaced. Flash forward a year, and the phone wasn't starting up so we took it in to the Apple Store. Once the Apple Store had the phone opened up, they noted that the battery had been replaced with a cheap alternate (lower quality) battery. The ONLY time this phone has been out of our possession was when it was at DropSmashFix so clearly they took the phone's battery and replaced it with a cheapy alternative. Since the original factory issued battery wasn't in the device, the warranty on the phone was voided... we had NO way of knowing this had happened since the repairs had happened behind the wall at DropSmashFix but now we are about several hundred dollars and are having to buy a new phone because original iPhone parts were taken while it was serviced here. read more

They were very honest to me this time and told me that there was a more significant problem with my device and I could not afford to fix it. They were very easy going and refunded my money back without hesitation. Called asking about a 4S glass repair after being stopped on my way walking in the parking lot (creepy) to another repair shop being told to go here instead. I have never spoken to someone who sounded so clueless about their own store. They told me they were better because they did repairs for the same exact price as their competitor down the street, but used "OME Apple parts." That is not a typo. They said "OME." Pretty sure they were supposed to say OEM. They claimed they get their parts directly from Foxconn in Asia, which is not even possible because I know for a fact Foxconn is not allowed to distribute parts manufactured for Apple. Every other legitimate business I called told me that isn't possible and nobody can get those. Overall, I decided against giving my phone over to someone who clearly didn't even know what they were talking about and lied about the quality of their own parts. read more

This is the best place ever! They repaired my iPhone screen in 45 minutes. Then repaired our iPad screen and LCD too. When the LCD went out again with in the warranty, no problem, fixed in 24 hours.
