The whole staff is very nice, in fact, and the place is almost kind of cozy - sounds weird for a gyn office, but so it is. I'll spare the gory details, but I first came to her in tears of fear, due mostly to what ultimately was the incompetence of another provider, and she made me feel very quickly that she would figure out what was going on and that she would know what to do about it. I've sent friends to her with their own problems that were overlooked by other doctors and we all say the same thing: why can't they all be like her?! When I think about what I went through before I got to her, and how many women are going through the same things without a proper diagnosis by an attentive, competent provider, well, I wish every woman had a doctor like her. (She certainly was the first gynecologist to tell me that a pap/pelvic need not be uncomfortable - what?! - and that doctors routinely use a speculum that's too big.) I probably couldn't say enough good things about her. I just feel grateful I got to her and want other women to know about her.

Activities were horrible and demeaning. My father would be alone most times or stuck in front of a soap opera. We encouraged the staff to please take my father to all the activities even though he'd say no thank you. We had opera CD's and a CD player for him to listen to and no one ever turned it on for him. He just languished away with hardly any attention from the staff. One good comment is that the food was good. Be sure to advocate for your loved one.

The facilities are exceptional, and the care I received and the staff were even better. Going from one facility (hospital trauma unit) to another (rehab.), you never know for sure if t's a positive or negative move until the decision and transfer is done. This was a very positive change for me. My therapists (OT/PT) were outstanding. The nursing staff was caring and accommodating to my individual needs. Staff coordination with my insurance was thoughtful and thorough. I had regular visits from administrative staff to be sure that my needs were being met by regular staff, and that any questions I might have had were answered. I found the atmosphere nurturing, encouraging, personal, and I connected with many of the staff one-on-one, especially those I interacted with routinely. I can fully recommend this facility and its care as five-star in every way.

Two years ago three members of our family were given a new diagnosis that required some navigating of the health care system (laws, paperwork, additional appts, etc.) The staff at this facility is often unhelpful in aiding us with questions or navigating our care plan. They do not help patients understand processes, guidelines or care schedule. We've had lost paperwork, missed medications, and more. I've mentioned before that I do not understand our care plan, but no one offers to help talk through it or kindly and patiently explain things to me. I'm often met with curt responses and just dead-end "good luck with that" kind of attitude. I feel that the staff finds me difficult. Im sure. But I'm a mother advocating for my child, and when my healthcare team is not helping me help my child then I will continue to advocate for them. I don't think it's too much to ask for people to tell us if things are coming up due. I understand the staff have limitations and guidelines to follow. However, if you're the type of person looking for healthcare team who are ON YOUR SIDE, who advocate and look out for you, then this is not the facility for you. I've called the patient complaint department before and unfortunately not had any resolution. Another message left today. We will see.

I drive about an hour to see her because she's a great primary care provider for routine checkups as well as other medical concerns that come up. I didn't get the same sense of warmth with the NP I saw when Dr. Khan was unavailable though. The receptionists are always very friendly, great parking and the facility is updated and always clean. If you're looking to try out new provider, I highly recommend checking out the Deforest clinic!

The technicians always make sure to ask if you already know the gender of your baby before they say anything. They even offer to put your baby's ultrasounds on a disk. So that's really nice. This facility is always clean and there is always staff around to answer any questions. Bathrooms are nearby so it's nice and convenient for pregnant mommies. Complimentary tea, coffee, and hot chocolate in the waiting area. You can park in the ramp or valet. Both are free.

He was extremely kind and gentle with me and made sure I got where I needed to go. He helped my friend who had transported me find me inside an after she parked. I don't know the names of the people who got me back to a room or of the other people who assisted, but, to a person, they were caring and solicitous of my well being. The physician, Claire Gervais, couldn't have been more attentive or caring. She was respectful, listened well and ensured I understood my situation and options. I've only used an urgent care once before, a few decades ago, and this experience was by far the best.
