Pharmacy girl is extremely rude and unprofessional.. had to start an argument with me after she charged our card and set us up for delivery even though we did not authorize either to happen and then tell me to deal with it. Then when I kept telling her this was unacceptable she finally said you'll just get delivery no more and you can talk to the manager. read more

The drug emporium staff is rude. Prices are very expensive. the pharmacy staff are rude and a lot are new. They would not give me my prescription. I have gone here for over 10 years, but I will never go back. The new staff are not friendly. I was in the drive thru and waited for 25 minutes because the person in front of me was just sitting there waiting on a prescription. The staff did not ask her to go around and get in line again to get her prescription. There were several people behind me. The quality of the store has gone down in the last year. I have been going to drug emporium for about 10 years now. I started going to their pharmacy because the drug I needed was specific and other pharmacies don't always have it in stock. The staff have always been the best of the best. Nobody stalking you to try and help find anything but, always ready to help in any department. I started going there for my perfume, my husband's cologne and they all know me by name. I love you drug emporium! I was worried because of COVID I might lose them, but they are just as spectacular as always. Guys keep up the good work, there is no one that can compete with you. read more

My local pharmacy told me they couldn't get my insulin, but to call around and find a pharmacy and they would transfer the order. I live 60 miles away, but decided to try Drug Emporium. I was told that they had it in stock and would get the transfer done. Five hours later I sat in their drive thru lane for 30 mins, but finally got to the window. When I got to the window, the girl told me that they were still filling my order. My order consist of a sealed box that is kept in a cooler, there is nothing to fill. I am sure that they feel that filling an order that doesn't require any filling is a nice little "white" lie. I realized that they hadn't even started the process the order although they had 5 hours to do it. I was told to come back in another 15 to 20 mins. I waited 25 mins and got to wait in line 20 mins this time. When I got to the window, the girl went to get the order, but she came back and said that they would have to get my doctor to confirm the order. By now it is close to 6:30 p.m. so no doctor. If they had started on my order earlier in the afternoon they could have contacted the doctor and gotten it approved. Since they didn't contact the doctor, I was told that they could use one of their Rx discount cards (or something like that) and it would cost me $200.00. I needed the insulin so I told them to go ahead and do that. The girl comes back again and tells me that there is a problem with using the Rx discount card and it will now cost me $900.00 to buy the insulin. I told her to keep it and drove off. They might be a good place to buy nail polish, vitamins, or diapers, but as a pharmacy they had no regard for the customer, my time or the fact that insulin is a major need for my health. I was lied to and given the run around regarding what would have been a basis transfer if they had attempted to fill the order before I showed up. I have used Drug Emporium in the past, but no more, and I would urge anyone needing a certain prescription with a timely manner to consider going to a professional pharmacy rather than this dollar store wanna be. read more

I was so happy when I realized Lubbock had a DE. It was my favorite place to spend hours in Cincinnati until that branch closed. I thought it was the only one in the world. It just smells so good. I miss their shampoo wall of products, but I am glad that Vitamins Plus is there with such a huge variety of stuff. I love the price stickers on all the products. All the employees are super nice and helpful. Last week: "Where is clove oil?" "Right over here." that is nice. Small town charm, big savings. Drug Emporium is where you should be going to get cheaper pharmacy and beauty items. All of their shampoo, makeup, deodorant and so on is cheaper than any other store I have ever found. Not only is it cheaper, but they have the Ulta and Salon approved top shelf brands like "It's a 10", "Bed head", "Pureology", "Biolage", "Chi", and many more. On top of those great deals they also carry essential oils, aisles of protein powders and vitamins, organic foods, an extensive collection of gluten free options, low priced paper goods, hair dyes, dry food items and so so so much more. The store still uses the good ole fashion system of typing the price for each item in. Who needs barcodes to work when your employees type fast like lightening? I love Drug Emporium. I never know what amazing deals and treasures I will find when I walk in. I usually go in for one or two items and walk out with twelve with a huge smile on my face and a small total on my receipt. read more

It feels cool like a "mom and pop shop" - a non-chain pharmacy that is on steroids. You better have some time when you go in, and always get the cart so you don't have to come back for it. There are things everywhere you cannot leave without, all priced at fantastic prices. Any hair product you have seen or heard of is lined up by brand. I would like to express how great I think Drug Emporium is. For the last 9 yrs I've shopped there and also got my medications filled at their pharmacy. Just about 4 months ago I thought "hey i'm gonna go use Wal-Mart's pharmacy and save a few bucks". Well {BIG} {BIG} {BIG} mistake!!! I've had nothing but problems with "Wal-Mart Pharmacy". So I've taken my business back to Drug Emporium and just to let you know it's not any higher then Wal-Mart (sometimes even cheaper). The pharmacy workers are great and are always there to help in anyway. I also love being able to go in or drive up and my script is ready and/or don't have to wait 2 or 3 hours before it's done. Staff is rude. One of the employees over stepped her boundaries when my four year old had a breakdown about not being able to open a box of pop tarts. After I told him no and to sit down in the cart he did. I walked no more than an arms reach to grab a product when he stood up again . Immediately this woman runs over touches my kid and forcefully makes him sit down. After I looked at her like she had lost her mind, she asked me if I had something to say!?? Ummm yes !!mind your own business and don't ever touch my kid again. Maybe??. My four year old is huge and he won't fit in the part with a seatbelt. And I needed him to be in the basket because like any other four year old he's very curious. It would have taken only another warning for him to get the point. This woman was looking for confrontation there is no doubt about it! When I walked up to the cash register I looked to my left only to see that the employee was pointing me out to the manager and all my blood just had drained from my body remembering how she forced my child down in the cart !
