We came here after yelping "bars" in our area. We came across this little place that we had never seen. We weren't in the mood for anything fancy. Just something to give us a good time. I would characterize this place as maybe a upper-end dive bar kinda place if you are in your 40's. Even though it had 3 stars, we decided to try it out for ourselves. If you're looking for a fun night out, with lots of tv's to watch your teams play, then this is the place. Once the game was over, the music came on. It wasn't over bearing or too loud and had a little bit for all ages. We really enjoyed ourselves. Our waitress, Jenifer, was very knowledgable about the beers on tap (they have 128) and made suggestions. She was pleasant and helpful, made sure to ask if it was our first time. They do let you taste test, or you can buy a flight of 4 shot glasses for $5 before you pick a beer. We had at least 3 different managers stop by our table to see if we needed anything and we didn't ever have to wait long for drinks to be filled. We ordered the typical "bar food". 1/2 order of chicken nachos and 1/2 order of steak quesadillas. Both were very good. We enjoyed the fresh sliced jalapeños vs. jarred ones. The menu had a variety of items, something for everyone. Prices seemed a little high for drinks, but it is craft beer so that is pretty normal compared to other craft beer places. I usually don't go for the 100 beers on tap bars but this one happens to be quite acceptable. It has the usual bajillion beers on tap but thankfully has liquor as well. I had hot wings and I must say they were delicious. Great flavor, just the right amount of buffalo sauce and cooked perfectly. Nice size too. The bartender was very nice and quite helpful with the large drink menu. I will be back. read more

Horrible Place! Prejudice and petty, UNPROFESSIONAL management and owner! ...here's a little history of one (yes, there have been a few) of my bad experiences at this location. I live in The Colony & have been going here since the doors opened in Nov 2014. The place started out great...fun and energetic!! I was a permanent figure there when I wanted a beer or two... However, the place is unacceptable at this point. I recently had a HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE with not only the Manger, but also with the owner! It was my birthday and I placed $20 into the jukebox...the MANAGER advised me they will not allow any music that they (the owner or manager) don't "like" on the jukebox. (specifically R&B, Pop or HipHop). When asking why, the manager and owner gave no explanation. They basically said they control it because it they are management. Extreme lack of customer service!! I didn't get my $20 back or any music. The owner was a bulogerant drunk (slurring words and extremely rude and loud). This place is insanely unprofessional! The bartenders are hit or miss....depending if the "like" you that day (very moody). Reminds me of a High School campus. Immature. I was blown away by their conduct (especially since I was a "regular" at that location). Bottomline...I WILL NEVER GO THERE AGAIN. The Colony has MANY, MANY more options now. Done a lot reviews, 5 stars are rare with me. Good is really good and reasonably priced. As a sports bar, this place gets an A+. Plenty of TVs. We like to sit outside, summer and winter. I am a frequent customer and was a "Day One" customer with the opening of their first store in Lewisville. The food is always top notch and the service is usually fantastic. However, if you'd like a Jalapeno Burger, do NOT order the Warhorse Burger on their menu. It has good flavor if you like beef and a spicy hot sauce. But they advertise fried jalapeno's and cheese. My burger had a slice of American Cheese on it so thin it was almost unrecognizable and could not be tasted. Furthermore, there were 4, Yes! 4! thin sliced, fried jalapenos on the burger. Whataburger puts 3 to 4 times that on theirs. And it's not $14! and served with undercooked steak fries. I sent it back to ask if this was right. The manager sent it back with the waitress and said that was the way it was designed. OK. 1) This is really a great restaurant... but... 2) Don't order the Warhorse if you want a true Jalapeno burger... just go to Whataburger down the street, get it to go, bring it here, sit on the patio and enjoy with a beer you order.... and ... 3) Don't expect good managerial service from whoever the manager was on Tuesday June 19 at 7pm who would not talk to me... In summary, I plan to continue to be a customer as they have some phenomenal employees that I respect a great deal. Many of the waitstaff here have worked in the service industry for years and they bust their tails off. My waitress was embarrassed when she returned my burger to me with the message that this is how it is. So...Just don't order this menu item.... go for "The Squealer" instead. It's over the top and Fantastic! Also, order the Onion Tanglers instead of the Steak Fries. read more

Wow wow wow!!! what can I say? Dallas Craft co. is the BEST place to be in North Texas. We walked in on a busy Saturday (late night) and were greeted by Tanya (extraordinary manager who was on the floor helping every customer this evening) as well as Hannah who waited on us that evening, and Skylar who was in the section next to ours, making sure all tables were prebussed and happy. Drinks (cocktails) taste like the liquor is watered down and the food the first time I went in I had appetizers they were great but since I have ordered various items all bad. The food is usually good and I like mixing up my flavors of beers on occasionally. I say the food is usually good except last night 2/22/19 around 730pm. I ordered a Reuben sandwich. I love Reubens and have had them in many states and countries, never a let down, except last night. The sandwich was flavorless. I mean flavorless from the bread to the sauerkraut to the boiled dead meat! I would have sent it back but was starving and at that point would have almost eaten my own arm! Yelp offers 20% off of your tab at this restaurant, so we figured we come here. Turns out, they don't honor it according to the staff. We came during Happy Hour and our waitress was uninformed about the wine list. She wasn't very helpful and she didn't come back to see if we were ready because her friend showed up. We decided to go inside and sit at the bar, but the same atmosphere existed. The staff just didn't seem to want to offer service. Nevertheless, we ordered food and a glass of wine. Went here to watch a football game with a big group. They were very accommodating and helpful. Our server was nice but brand new so she was slow but another more experienced girl stepped in to help and she was great. Good was pretty good too. The first sports bar we've been to since we moved to Texas in October, 2014. We were thoroughly impressed with craft selection as well as the bar. I, unlike my husband, love beer. I am quite a snob when it comes to beer as well. I unfortunately was unable to sample most of the ones I wanted as they were out of that particular kind. However, I quickly found replacements. It is a great place to go with a group if you get there by a reasonable time (before 9 or 10 pm). We went with three others and did not find it difficult to talk over the music or TVs. It was really quite enjoyable. The staff was very attentive and on point the whole night. We had the nachos, which were quite alright. However, the chips weren't as crispy as expected; the cheese was also not as fresh as expected. On the plus side, not once did we have an empty drink or cluttered, dirty table. We found ourselves here Saturday night when Top Golf was crowded beyond belief. Because of overflow, so was the DD, but wait staff did their best to keep tables moving and got us seated. Two of us had the pork shanks, which they loved. Two of us had burgers - which were far better than we expected. The Spirit of a Hero burger was top notch. The blackening seasoning on the fries was a bit heavy/salty and the fries were not hot, but overall, we'd go back. If you like sports, there are TV's galore! read more

All the people are complaining about 2 big issues continue through the name change, etc. Most complaints are: 1) Service oriented, or 2) Food I've commented on them for highly erratic service. The problem is when this goes amiss it goes WAY off track. Some Premia Dona's leave you abandoned after giving you tab to pay/sign with. Moreover, I can't believe the worst thing they do is hurt themselves: waitress will drop the payment goodies and I don't know where they go, but they sure do - MISTAKE! You could have moved on to new people and a new tab If it's going to have service issues THIS is likely part, or all, of it. The last thing the waitresses do it getting lost when a tab is WAY past due. Who doesn't notice this? The customer sure does. And if you're getting gone for a while I bet the majority of patrons cut their time amounts. SHOW UP, wrap things up and make everyone happy! Here, I've got to give it to you, having a mg'r check on tables was a great attempt. The problem is when mg'r (etc) checks can't help but being "after the fact" - when they could have checked sooner, and I've never seen a neglecting waitress change. And one that gets me, as it seems to happen over and over. Sorry I have to mention this, but I believe "it's just being honest": every man would say. I understand you have to have some "eye candy" but put her/them on the bar - NOT something real process-oriented. B/e all us guys know if it's a babe, we might as well go put some $ in the meter! Stopped in for a quick bite and a beer after work, and had a blast. The atmosphere is fun and energetic, with a 100+ beer selection. I wasn't sure what I wanted to try, so the manager Jeramy helped me pick a great Stout to try. He also told me about all the events that were coming up, and I even invested in a few raffle tickets for a Yeti and some cool gear that they were doing on July 30th. Prices were very reasonable, especially for great service from the bartenders and delicious food and large beer selection.
