First, the cost is INSANE, but we knew that going in. If the prices aren't listed on their web site, you can find them out with a little googling. We went to the Harry Potter Experience for his birthday. It was interesting, but was the movie and a scarf worth the $65 it cost to go? No. The shared reality basically has the main center screen with things related to what's going on floating around the larger screen. It's neat, but not $60/seat neat. I would imagine seeing one of their live events or recordings made specifically for their screens would be amazing. We saw previews for the Cirque du Soleil and sports events, and those were awesome. Seats were very comfortable. You could pick either couches or individual seats based on where you wanted to sit. They had escalators going between all levels so there were no stairs to climb except for the few to get down to your seat. The food and/service was where they dropped the ball for us. We ordered soft drinks, regular popcorn, and the Enchanted Experience which we shared. Our waitress brought our drinks, butterbeer, and popcorn first and brought our couch neighbors their drinks, butterbeer, and a pretzel. (There is a pretzel included with the Enchanted Experience, but we just thought they ordered an additional one.) The food is supposed to come out in a series of courses that correspond with the movie so as it progressed we received each item but never the pretzel. Our waitress asked my daughter if she'd like a refill, but didn't ask me. Our drinks were at the same level when she asked. Finally when it was time to pay we told her we didn't get the pretzel and she was shocked. So offered to go get us one to take home and I said that would be great and paid for our food and left a 20% tip. We packed up and went up to the top of our area and received our pretzel in a nice box. I didn't check it because you could hear it rolling around in the box. It was when we got out to the car we found out they didn't include the cheese sauce. I try to only tip based on what the waitstaff can control (drinks, food delivery, etc) and she failed that. I should have waited for the pretzel before I paid. As an aside, their to-go packaging is less than stellar. Our couch neighbors didn't eat most of their "shepherd's pie" and they were given a cardboard box to put their leftovers in. The base of the pie is a tomato sauce with lots of meat and grease. I don't even want to think about how little time it took for that to leak all over the place. Thanks for reading this far the tl;dr is: Don't go for revamped movies, just go for shows specifically for that screen. If you're going to eat there, plan on spending another $100 on it. We caught an early show of Harry Potter at Cosm Dallas, and thanks to some last-minute ticket availability, we ended up on the floor level, dead center. While the central positioning sounded great on paper, the viewing experience wasn't quite what we expected from that spot. The wife went ahead and purchased the meal package with the movie for both of us, which was a nice convenience and added to the overall experience. It's a great option if you want to make a full evening out of it without having to plan a separate dinner. My main gripe comes down to the seating. The chairs on the floor level don't recline nearly enough to comfortably take in the massive dome screen above you. We spent a good portion of the movie straining our necks trying to get the full immersive view, which took away from what should have been a jaw-dropping experience. Looking back, I'd definitely recommend going for seats in the second or third balcony, you'd get a much better vantage point to appreciate the full scope of the dome without the neck strain. That said, we still enjoyed the movie itself, and the technology and atmosphere at Cosm are genuinely impressive. It's a unique way to experience a film, and I'm sure we'll be back to give it another shot, just with better seat selection next time. read more

I visited Cosm to watch a basketball game and had a good experience overall. Getting inside was super easy since they just scan your online ticket right at the door. The place is incredibly spacious, and the entire wall is covered in TVs when you walk in. If your seats are on the upper floors, the escalators are right by the entrance. I sat on the bottom floor, and while the view was cool, it honestly feels like you're sitting in expensive courtside bleachers and my neck started hurting after a while from having to look up, down, and side to side to follow the screen. It looks like the second floor has the best view, though those tickets are the most expensive. If you don't want to pay full price for a reserved seat, you can buy general admission tickets for around $10. They have couches and seats all around with plenty of open spots, and you can walk around and still get great views from tables just a few feet away from the main screen. It's definitely worth trying this option if you want to check the place out on a budget! For food, I had a promo ticket that came with a food credit. Honestly, the food is pretty expensive, the portions are small, and the quality is just okay. Even with the credit, I didn't think it was worth it, so I'd skip the food and drinks next time. On the bright side, the waitresses were very nice, quick to take orders, and fast with service! read more

We went to see Willy wonka. This was our 1st time here. We had seats on level 2 on the couches at the front. It was amazing. Our tickets came with desert. We had the brownie ice cream sandwiches. They were good but you can tell it comes right out of the freezer so you have to let it thaw before eating it. This was really a great show to watch here. We really felt like we were in the movie. Such a cool experience. I was amazed. I saw Harry Potter and the Sorcerers Stone. I'm a big HP fan so a little biased. I tried the themed popcorn and a themed cocktail. We went to COSM to watch The Matrix, and the whole building was really cute. I loved the Matrix-inspired code theme throughout the venue. We sat on the third floor, and even though our tickets were marked as having an "obstructed view," we didn't feel like anything blocked our experience. I do wish the sound had been more vivid and louder. During some scenes, it was a little difficult to hear the dialogue. I also think the Shared Reality experience might be better suited for sports, where the entire dome can really be used. For a movie, the effects around the screen were interesting, but sometimes they felt more distracting than immersive. We also ordered the regular and spicy margarita pizzas, along with the Margherita and pepperoni flatbread. The portions were a little smaller than we expected, but everything tasted good. Was in Dallas during March Madness and it so happened that MSU was playing against UConn so I decided to buy tickets to the watch in The Dome. My wife, two sons, and my oldest son's girlfriend joined as well. We arrived early and we watched other games in the main area which has a bar, seating, and big screens and I mean big screens. When the MSU gane started we headed over to the Dome, 3rd Level, Row D, Seats 10-14. (Reserved Seating) The view from these seats were nice! Each seat had a small table for food and drinks! Also, a server that took orders for food and drinks! Our server was very nice and very attentive. My son got the Double Waygu Burger and he devoured it. He mentioned it was a great tasting burger. The fries were crispy and seasoned to perfection. We ordered desserts: Housemade Churros that came warm and covered cinnamon-sugar and served with caramel and chocolate dipping sauces. Also, Chocolate Cookie Ice Cream Sandwiches filled with creamy vanilla bean ice cream. As far as the game, the views were as if we were live! The views switched from court side, behind the basket, and 3rd level center seats. I could not believe the views and the experience. I'd love to watch more events in the future! Pro Tip: Order your drinks WELL before the game because it is a long wait time. So if you read the reviews, you'll see the first comment that it is a tad pricey. But when you come here, it's worth every penny! It feels like you're actually at the games with the enthusiastic fans and amazing view. The staff are pretty sweet here and you can order your food from the menu as you sit down. It's absolutely spectacular here and it's an incredible feat of engineering to be completely immersed into the games or shows that you are watching. Two outstanding employees were Teresa & Paola, they were amazing. Both went out of their way to show us the theater and help us choose seats. We went to see Circ de soiea. Had some amazing acrobatics which you would expect, but the overall show was poor, very unorganized and it didn't help that the announcer didn't speak English although that would not have helped the overall experience.. We saw the Willy Wonka movie, and the immersive screen and visuals made it feel way more engaging than a normal showing. The picture quality was amazing, and the overall setup really pulls you into the film. The venue itself was modern, clean, and well-designed, with a unique atmosphere that makes it stand out from other theaters. The seating was comfortable, and everything felt very high-tech and smooth. The only reason it's not a full 5 stars is that it can be a bit pricey, and the experience might not be something you'd do all the time. While the preferred level is the 2nd, our seats were still excellent and offered an immersive view that didn't disappoint The food was a pleasant surprise . The smash burger was hands-down the highlight--definitely a must-order . We also tried the lemon pepper wings, which were solid, and the ice cream sandwiches ... which unfortunately were not good at all and can be skipped . What really sets COSM apart is the energy . My first visit to Cosm was this past weekend for the Dallas Stars playoff game. Overall, it made for a really fun date night experience. Parking was a little confusing, but we followed the crowd into the garage and made the walk from the second floor to the entrance. We paid extra for seats inside the dome without really knowing what to expect. The experience itself was definitely impressive. It truly feels close enough to see the sweat on the player's faces, hear the skates cutting through the ice, and even noticed what people in the arena were doing on the phones! Our server created us right away and was very friendly. Food wise, the deviled eggs were good although a bit heavy on the dill, and the giant pretzel was pricey, but large enough to share. The menu is short and simple, but there are enough options for most people. The dome viewing experience was exciting, but sitting in the higher bar style row behind the floor tables, made it uncomfortable to watch for a long periods since we had to tilt our heads back. The camera switching was also off during gameplay, but thankfully the side screen showed the full rink view. My date ended up getting motion sickness from the immersive close-ups, so we moved to a quieter table near the entrance to watch on the large standard screen instead. Even with a few drawbacks, we're glad we went and had a great time overall. The outdoor patio was beautiful. There were plenty of screens everywhere and next time we will probably choose general admission instead of dome seating. I went to Cosm Dallas with a friend to celebrate her birthday and watch my KC Chiefs take on her Houston Texans. It was a cold night and I parked in the garage next to Cosm. It was a Sunday night game. We entered quickly since there wasn't a line. We thought about reserving a spot but didn't. Honestly I would say get a general admission ticket unless you want to splurge because there's many good spots to watch the game on the first floor, second, or third. I really enjoyed Cosm. There's so many different areas to enjoy a game, hang out with friends, listen to music, and eat tasty bites. We checked this place out recently for the first time and had a great experience. We celebrated our friend's 40th birthday by watching his favorite basketball team play (Rockets vs Knicks). We had a 2nd level booth that comfortably fit our party of 3. Walking into the seats feels like walking into the game. The game was in New York so it felt like we were in Madison Square Garden. The big screen, camera angles and sounds make you feel like you're at the game. Really amazing experience. The food and drink options are great. During our game we got a $15 per person discount off of food and beverage. We tried the triple blend old fashioned, pretzel, ahi tuna nachos, and the wings. Came to CosM on a Thursday night to watch a basketball game. The entire experience was enjoyable. The entire staff was pleasant starting from the greeters at the entrance to the bag check, and server. The DJ was on point and a huge plus that there even WAS a DJ on a Thursday! The drinks were great (just expect to pay $18) The food was good aside from the lukewarm fries but I highly enjoyed the wings! Mad I went off and left my $3.50 water but I didn't forget my wings cause for the price I'm eating all of them. You can get an order of 8 or 16. (Try and purchase a ticket that gives you $15 off food and bev. It's what we did and helps save a little.) My only gripe is that tampon machine should be in the women's bathroom but thankfully my server came through for me! Parking is free and extremely close to the theater so also a plus. BUT paying over $110+ for two people while sharing a sofa with four strangers, with limited legroom and a very small table, did not feel fully worth it. It feels similar to a large movie theater setup. I would not pay that much for a regular movie (or in this case would rather pay more for the full Cirque Du Soleil show), but for a live sports game, it could be worth it because the atmosphere would be very different. Service and food were average. We had one server who was polite, but he did not return to take our order after we asked for more time. The food felt similar to what you'd expect at a dine in theaters, like fries, nachos, and burgers. Nothing stood out. The bathroom is large and located upstairs, but it is the only one when exiting the theater, so it gets crowded quickly after the show. We attended our company Christmas party at COSM. This place is amazing. There was a football game going on when we went. No lines for us to get in but for the general admission, line was super long. We had the entire first floor for our party and it was a fun night. The screen was massive , only thing is it was super huge and sitting so close made it hard to see. You felt like you were actually at the game sitting on the sidelines. They also had music playing during breaks and smaller TVs in case you didn't go closer to the screen. Many comfortable seating areas, stand up tables and chairs were available. The bar was fully stocked and bartenders also walked around serving us. Food was good, we had a Mexican buffet with chicken and steak fajita, rice and beans and also had a pizza and slider buffet later in the evening. I will definitely be back as they have many events in this venue. Viewing probably easier on the second floor, we didn't have access to the other floors but I wasn't watching the game anyway. Parking in the garage was free and they had many open spots. Very convenient to the nearby hotels and we could have walked there. read more

The last few events at the Cosm Dallas for the World Cup GA have been horrific. The hall tickets were sold immediately so you're left with overpriced GA and that set up is an absolute joke. Just pure greed! They oversell the tickets and there isn't room to sit anywhere, no extra seats or tables people are cramped together on top of each other and sitting on the floor looking up at screens. The picture they have on their site is very misleading. It's been an absolute disaster during the sold out soccer games. Save your money, unless you want to stand for 3 hours have people bump into you and not get any service. read more

The energy from the fans around us made it even better. We sat on the second floor in a booth and the space was clean, comfortable, and had a great view of everything going on. They play movies, fights, and all kinds of sports, so there is always something entertaining on the screen. For food and drinks, we ordered the Cobb salad, parmesan wings, fries, an espresso martini, and an old fashioned. Everything tasted great and came out fresh.
